Kael's Pov
I was helping Elvanya stand when a massive wave of power hit me through the bond and it nearly knocked me off my feet.
Something was wrong and the power was different from before and it felt wild and out of control.
"Stay here with Eldric" I told her and kissed her forehead quickly "I need to check the rest of the palace"
But before she could answer another surge came through the bond and this one was stronger and it made my knees weak.
"Kael what is wrong" Elvanya asked and grabbed my arm.
"I do not know" I said and then I felt it and the bond was screaming at me that something was happening to her but she was right here in front of me.
Then I understood and this was not happening now and it was going to happen soon and the bond was warning me.
"We need to leave
