“Hello Miss Kelly, we need to talk” the male voiced out.
“Yes” Kelly muttered, waiting for a response but instead the call cut off suddenly.
Ding! The long sound followed for hours and Kelly dropped the phone on the desk, her eyes fixed on her phone, who was that? She thought and placed her hands on her chest gently rubbing it tightly.
“Seth heaven street” a message popped up and Kelly's eyes trailed to her phone.
“Heaven street” she muttered, she averted her gaze to the window, her thoughts trailing wild away.
*****
The alarm clock rang, its noise reverberating round the room, Anna yawned and stretched her hands.
Her gaze fixed on the photo on the wall, for some weird reason she still hasn't thrown away that picture or destroyed the life out of it.
She was dressed in a wedding gown and has the prettiest smile on, besides her was Nicholas with his fitted suit she got him and his smile that looked almost sincere.
Anna frowned, the scowl clearly visible on her face, she grunted under her breath and ran her hand through her hair.
“I'm still waiting for your wrath Nicholas” she muttered and lowered her gaze, staring at the pink duvet.
“Maybe then, I will be able to hate you” she murmured. She had eye bags under her eyes, she hardly slept a wink last night, she could remember her heavy breathing and tears she cried in one day.
Never had a man made her feel so foolish and useless.
“She was just easy” his words danced in her ear and Anna chuckled, her gaze darkened and she slowly got out of her bed.
She wore her pink bunny ear slippers, it had white ears and a cherry nose, it was cute and reminded her of old times.
She heaved a sigh and wore it, lifelessly walking to the door, the door creaked open and she walked out.
But shivered in shock and fright, as a vase was thrown at her, luckily she had moved to the opposite direction, but her foot was badly injured.
The blood oozed out, the glass pierced piece narrowed in her foot, her hair full of glass piglet, and her eyes widened in shock.
Nicholas smirked and Anna trailed her gaze to him, his eyes were so bright, enjoying the pain he saw in her eyes.
“Bad morning?” He asked in mockery and walked towards her with slow heart pounding steps.
His shoe walked classy on the wooden floor, he used his shoe to push away the glass pieces and stood before her.
“Does it hurt?” He asked and gazed at her foot, a smirk on his lips, while Anna shivered.
The pain was excruciating, she never thought he would stoop so low to hurt her, she held back her pain and averted her gaze at him, her eyes full of malice and they glared at him with fury.
Nicholas for a second was shocked and moved backwards, she was a lovable wife, someone who loved him no matter what, she was a goody-two-shoes wife, he had never seen this angry side of her.
“You are not a man, you are a coward, who thinks physical pain is enough to make a woman yield. You are gonna watch Stacy leave you for dead, then I will let you go” she spat back, her gaze eyeing him with mockery and he frowned.
He tilted her hair backwards, his grip on her hair tight and scalp piercing “I will kill you if you don't leave” he yelled but Anna chuckled.
“I would like to see your wrath husband, I want to see a cheating man like you can do, to the extent of justifying your treacherous act” she spat.
Nicholas clenched his fist and he gazed at her injured foot, he smirked at her and Anna's eyes widened in fear.
“If you go, you're a coward” she yelled, trying to make him back out but he didn't.
His foot landed on the bottle and Anna screamed in pain, the glass cutting deep into her foot.
Tears filled in her eyes, she tried to push him off, but she couldn't help was stronger than her.
Blood oozed out more as he intensified the pain and then the glass broke In two. Half of its pointy edge was fixed inside her foot.
She heaved out relief the moment he let her go, his phone had rang.
“Yes boss” he muttered and switched off the call.
“Today is the beginning of your misery” he added and shoved her aside
“Ah..h.h” Anna screamed and crashed into the couch handle, its iron part, having an impact on her back and she groaned in pain.
The living room was a mess, the dropping of blood on the floor and her foot swollen.
She tried to move her feet but they hurt, the glass inside piercing every inch of the foot and she let out a fry.
Sniff! Sniff!
She cried, the tears freely strolling down her eyes and she gazed at the door.
Her heart pounded in sadness, her foot injured but the man she loved and called a husband, someone who should have protected, loved and cared for her, was a snake, a sheep using her for his own gain.
She couldn't move her foot, but she had to treat her wound, if she didn't want her wound to get infected.
“Phe..phewww” she breathed out heavily and placed her hands on the chair handle for support.
“1…, 2…, 3” she muttered slowly and stood up,her weight force all doubled on her two footsteps.
A crack sound heard and
“Arghhhhhhhhh”
