I met Hayden and Xander just outside of the packhouse. The sun was already high in the sky, but the cold was bitter. They looked the same, although, I wasn’t entirely sure what I had expected.
“Let’s take a walk and talk,” I said as I waved for them to follow me. Thorne, Kody, and Andrew would be nearby in case I needed them. I hoped I didn’t.
“The pack has changed,” Hayden remarked as we stepped into the clearing.
