Chapter Twenty-Five Opening Day The excitement is tangible as Roxi and I pull into the owner’s lot at Royal Field in the East Bottoms. The team is coming off three consecutive wins at Spring Training, and two days of feel-good publicity from the annual Pros and Veterans charity game over in Prairie.
