Evelyn When I wake up the next morning, my naked body tangled with Alexander’s as he snores softly, his sore arm still tied to his torso, part of me feels more at home than I ever felt with the Bloodstone Pack. Another part of me whispers that this is the perfect time to flee. Alexander is the only one who can physically stop me from escaping, and he’s sleeping so heavily he’s practically unconscious. Even if he woke up, he’d probably be in too much pain to stop me.
