I kiss Alexander as sweetly as before, one hand on his chest, the other gently sliding up his neck and into his hair, making sure I don’t touch his hurt shoulder. I can feel the tautness of his muscles as he fights the pain Dr. Zorinski’s medicine doesn’t quite mask.
As my gentle fingers tighten in his white-blond hair at the base of his neck, I kiss him more forcefully, opening his lips as I tilt my head to explore his tongue with mine. I lean more heavily on top of him, keeping my pressure always off his shoulder.
When he lets out a low moan, his muscles just starting to loosen beneath me, I pull away, sitting up. Alexander’s eyes are trained on me, watching me hungrily as I move away, the request in his gaze nearly a demand to come closer once more.
I smile at his reaction
