I tell Dr. Zorinski that I want updates if there are any complications or worsening of Marcel or Freddie’s injuries, then I take off, storming through the palace to find Evelyn and confront her about her run in with the new head of the werewolf rebels. After all, she’s a werewolf herself.
I go to her room first, but she’s not there. Neither is she in my room, so I head up a floor to find Emma. She’s not with my sister either, and when Emma asks me what’s wrong, I only growl and thump back down the stairs.
