Once we make it outside the palace walls, Lucas divides us up into four groups and instructs everyone to meet at the pre-determined meeting place. There’s about ten rebels, nine prisoners, and me.
The four groups are all different numbers of werewolves, likely to avoid drawing suspicion. The rebels pass out cloaks to us, donning their own, too. With the deplorable state of the prisoners and the green band of the rebels hidden, we take off into the Royal City.
Though I do note that though the prisoners seem scared and dirty, they don’t look mutilated or malnourished.
We make our way through the Royal City. Lucas asks us to look around as if we’re window shopping so it’s not obvious that we’re trying to make it through unnoticed. I make sure not to go anywhere near the store I sho
