i awoke to the light beaming through the window and my phone beeping. i check it and the first thing i see. Unknown Sender Job - ET clean and wipe Pay - £3mil Location - Bravo 6 Witnesses - None Time - 3am ... message deleted ... Great, another job of destroying alien tech and purging all evidence, honestly though it was nothing new to me. I've been in this work every since i was recruited at 12 years old. I'm 23 now. my days was pretty normal, grab my mail, bills, bills and more bills, what a surprise. toast for breakfast and Coffee. Nothing beats a good cup of coffee. To quote a great woman. "Coffee is the finest organic suspension known to man" although i wish i could beat the Borg on it. The rest of my day went pretty slow, some time outside reading in the sun, i wish i could say it was a good book but honestly it was advanced theories of programming. then sometime feeding the birds, putting up a new shelf and spending time alone. its nice living alone but its definitely better living with someone else but thats to dangerous in my job. Eventually night comes on by so its prep time. i grab my lightweight combat armor and start pack my bag, Alien tech is band in the real world but i have a room filled with it. A tablet with software which can break through any system on the planet as well as its upgrades for different scanners, nanotech that will eat away anything made of any kind of metal even a g*n that can fire a plasma shot or switch to a grapple which is CO2 powered and then there is much more than that and most of it looks completely innocent to the untrained eye. Once my bag was packed i got in my Lexus LC and headed out. If you think that looks cool just imagine a rocket coming out of the hood. yeah its not got that but it was a cool thought. so i drove for 5 hours to meeting point Bravo 6... the car park next to an Asda. so inconspicuous. There was a black van and a black car. I wasn't sure the make. i only know mine because its mine. i got out my car and went over. Jack - Wow, Tom long time no see, how you doing? I looked over to see a guy i worked with on multiple missions a few years back. Tom - No way, im good how are you? Jack - yeah, fair. dod they tell you what this was? Tom - no, they never tell me s**t, im the Tech, if i need to know it they will tell me, everything outside of that is all on you. so where are we going? Jack - some apartment building. the word is a guy has been collecting alien gear and you need to destroy. He is to be killed and the apartment burned. leave the rest to local teams to clean up. of course it goes without saying they can't find anything in the clean up Tom - yeah thats fine, i got the cleaners with me. so is it just you and me? Jack - nah, its funny you should bring that up, we have been matched with 2 other guys, I've worked with them before, i wouldn't get friendly and i would stick to your code name. Im your support, Siren is our support for local teams and Trigger is our lookout and Sniper and finally you on hard and software control Tom - Have you noticed how bad our code names are? Like mine "The Tech" you "The Protector" the "Trigger" and "Siren" i mean i could come up with better code names than that. Jack - yeah, well why dont you put some forwa... He was cut off by another car pulling up to use. These 2 big guys got out and without saying a word got a couple of bags out of their car and just climbed into the back of the van. Tom - Can i sit in the front with you? Jack - Yeah come on. We got in the var and off we went. Jack was the Mission controller so he had more info then any of us. we drove for another 2 hours before pulling up on the side of a road. Siren jumped out the car and opened a junction box to plug in and sat behind it with his laptop to stay out of sight. We put our earpieces in to test that they were working and then continued to drive. We stopped in front of an apartment building right at the door and got out of the van. Siren - the door cam is off and the door is unlocked. no alarms or alerts in the area and you are clear for entry.
