Colton's POV
I walked back to my office like a Zombie, and I'm instantly irritated by the sight of Jessica. My father ordered me to be cordial toward her, but truthfully, I want nothing more than to kill her.
“You did that sh*t on purpose.”
“I did,” she admits. “I'm just showing you how little you mean to her. I would never walk away from you like that.”
“You mean the title,” I reply, making the woman shrug.
“Anyway; Alpha Stone asked me to make arrangements with you. He says we should start planning for your mothers return and my takeover.”
“That’s what I called you here for. If I can pay your parents back, will you give up on the idea that you and I will ever have anything?” Jessica’s eyes glaze over, and it's obvious she’s mind-linking, likely her parents.
