What Are You Exactly?

Angel squealed happily when she saw that there were serving pancakes that morning. She placed about five slice on her plate while I just added three. I wasn't interested in eating too much.

We sat down opposite each other and started to eat slowly.

"Aren't you going to get new glasses?" Angel asked.

"I would have asked my mom to get me a new pair but she'll ask how I ruined the first one. I'm not ready to lie to her"

"We could just leave campus and go buy some" Angel said. I furrowed my eyebrows. I never knew one could leave campus.

"We could leave?" I asked.

"No, we are sneaking out" she said. The word 'ohh' escaped my lips. I went back to eating till someone sat close to me. It was Ethan again.

"Having a blissful morning?" He asked.

"Of course, we are" I replied.

"Khloe had the worse night. She had her first thirst yesterday" she said.

"I'm jealous" Ethan said and we all laughed.

Vee also came and sat close to Angel. I was happy with the kind of amazing people I have around me. They were all happy. Even as I was smiling with them, I was thinking about the three. Everyone was talking about the fact that I was their new target and I was on their black list now.

Suddenly, the hall was silent. The three walked in majestically. I didn't even turn to look at them. I wasn't interested in seeing their majestic entrance. All I was interested in was finishing my breakfast before class starts.

"What's on today's calender?" I asked before they even sat down. Emmett heard my voice and shot me a hard glare. I glared back at him and faced Angel.

"Nothing. It's a leisure day. Fridays are leisure day. Do whatever you like, more like sports and fun" she said in a whisper.

"I see. I'd like to try out the pool"

"You swim?" Vee asked. I nodded.

"We should swim together. It will be fun" Vee said.

"Then it's done"

"And tomorrow, we are sneaking out by evening. Let's go on a little friends date" Angel said. I smiled. We were all laughing took Ethan spoke.

"Am I invited?" He asked.

"Yes duh!" Angel answered and we all broke into another round of laughter.

While I was laughing, my eyes met with Hudson. He was staring at me. I went straight into his mind. He was thinking about me, about last night and the day he slices my wrist. He wish to know about me.

I smirked and threw my gaze away from him. We were all done with eating. Vee and I went to the pool to check it out. I had no swim suit so, I just watch her swim. Mom forgot to pack it up along with my other cloth.

Vee was enjoying herself in the water before a call arrived on my phone. It was mom. I was just thinking about her.

I signalled Vee who was in the middle of the pool. She nodded and walked away.

There was no one in the hallway. It was empty. Everyone was so busy doing one thing or the other. I answered the call and placed it on my ear.

"Hey mom" I greeted.

"My little cup cake. I missed you like crazy" she said.

"I know you do. But I'm fine" I said.

"How are you enjoying Hellviore?"

"You've asked me that like a thousand times now. I'm fine. I'm settling in. Besides, I have a lot of friends now" she said.

"What about sports? Are you playing football there?" She asked.

I walked to the window and glared at the field. The girls on the soccer team seemed tough than the ones in her former school.

"You know I can play with these girls? If something happens, it's game over" she said.

"Ah, I see. Well, you should give it a try..." She paused when another phone was ringing in the background. It was the office telephone.

"Mummy will be off now. Bye, I love you"

"Love you too mum" I said and hung up. I sighed deeply and turned.

"Fvck! Argh!" I groaned and almost fell. Why in the world was Emmett standing in my way.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"You play football huh?" He asked.

"You...you listened?" I asked. Of course, he was a bloody werewolf.

"I can listen to things over long distance than you vampires. Werewolves are the best" he said.

"Suit yourself" I said and was about to walk back to the pool. He grabbed me and hit me against the wall. I was breathing hard but... He was so close to me. I could perceive his scent and I could feel his body.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"What do you think I'm doing?" He asked.

"If you want to bully me, be my quest but don't lay a finger on me" I said and pushed him away from my body. He flew across the window. I swear, it was just a little push. I gasped loudly and I heard the students yelling from outside.

"Emmett?!" I screamed his name and ran to the window. He was holding on to it for his dear life.

"Here, hold my hand" I said, stretching my hand.

"How can I hold a weakling's hand? Find Hudson or Alice. Hurry!" He yelled.

"But..." I wanted to talk but he yelled at me again.

"Hurry! You stupid nerd! Argh!"

I groaned and scratched my head as I walked about, looking for just one of them. Where on earth am I going to find them in this huge school?

I asked myself and stopped in front of the kitchen. Just then, I heard giggles.

"Are you sure you don't want the thirst of my blood? You don't want to suck me, huh?" The female voice asked.

"I wouldn't do that to you" he said.

I of course recognise that voice. They were the ones. I barged into the kitchen. Alice was on the counter while Hudson was leaning on her. They didn't even move when they saw me.

"How dare she..." Alice jumped down from the counter, wanting to come close to me but Hudson stopped her.

"What the heck do you want?" He asked.

"Emmett needs you two"

"Why would Emmett need us?" Alice asked.

"Why don't you see for yourself? Third floor window" I said and walked away. The two exchanged glances and ran out.

They rushed up the stairs and started checking the whole window.

"Oh no, Emmett!!" Alice yelled. She was the first person to see him. They both rushed and helped him up. They pulled him hard till he successfully landed his on the ground.

"What happened bruh?" Hudson asked.

"She happened!" He said, pointing at me at the end of the hall.

The two of them were confused. Of course, who would believe him if he says I push him? No one.

"She made you do that?" Alice asked.

"She pushed me?" He yelled. Alice and Hudson exchanged glances with each other.

"Let's just get you to the nurse" Hudson said.

"No, I'm fine. Trust me, that nerd pushed me. Believe me! I'll fvcking deal with her!" He yelled.

"Stop! We'll deal with her soon, that's the plan, remember?" He said.

He groaned and walked away. Alice turned and glared at me. I thought they would not come after me but no, they have a special plan instead, how nice. I scoffed and went back to meet Vee. She was done already. She was drying her hair.

"Hey, what took you so long?" She asked

I smiled weirdly. Even if I told her, she won't believe me.

"Mom talked too long" I lied. She laughed.

"I wish my mom call often like that. She doesn't" she said. I just smiled weirdly.

I just couldn't wait to go out tomorrow to go get my glasses. I felt weird without wearing them. I didn't feel like the need that I am. I feel like something is going to happen very soon. And it's going to be a little bit bad.

"I painted this today. How is it?" Angel asked. I envied Angel. She has everything a guy need in a girl. Beauty, talents, brain and everything. I was just the direct opposite.

"It's nice" I said to her in reply. I haven't even find something to choose for my leisure. Not a lot of people choose swimming. It was just used for practical. I'll be the only person in the swimming team, it's not what I want. I better look for something else and just put swimming behind.

When I snapped back to reality, Angel was pulling a chair to the middle of the room.

"I'm going to hand the painting here. I love it" she said and tried standing on her toes to put it.

"Hey, be careful" I said

"It's okay... I'll be fine" she yelled.

But before I could know it, she slipped a foot and lost balance.

Angel was falling right before my eyes. She might break some bones if she lands on the floor. She'll hit her head on the table and her legs on the bed and finally, her back on the floor.

I didn't want to imagine how it's going to look like.

I stretched my hand and muttered some words.

I spoke in an ancient language. Her bed immediately moved and she fell on it.

Angel started breathing hard. I rushed to her and helped her up. I was scared for a second, thinking she might even lost her life.

"Are you okay?" I asked, touching her hand. I helped her to stand up.

"Yeah... I'm fine but... How did you do that? You're a Vampire" she said and stared at me, with confusion on her face.

I stared at her also. I couldn't tell her. She pulled her hand from my little grip.
