Chapter 17: Harry Potter Studio

ANNA'S P.O.V

"Anna, wake up!"

I felt someone jumped on the bed, making the whole bed bouncing. I opened my eyes to find Nathan shook my body.

"Nathan, stop" I groaned in frustration.

"C'mon, Anna, wake up!"

"Shut up, I'm sleeping" I grabbed the pillow and threw it to him.

"You need to go get ready, I promised you I'm going to give you a surprise" he giggled.

"5 more minutes" I mumbled.

He scoffed. "Fine, you've given me no choice then"

The next thing I knew, my eyes shot opened as Nathan tickled my body. He was on the top of me, holding my hands with his left hand whilst his right hand tickled my body. My body squirmed, I'm so ticklish!

"S-stop I can't b-breath" I said in between my laugh. He kept tickling me.

"I will stop if you get up and get ready"

"Yesss yes I promise! Now stop!" I begged, still trying to shove him away.

He chuckled and stopped, getting off the top of me to the side of the bed as I tried to catch my breath.

"What time is it?" I asked after a while.

"It's 7" he simply said.

I groaned. "Why the hell did you wake me up at 7 in the morning?! It's too early"

"Get ready or I will tickle you again" he warned me while giggling.

I rolled my eyes but got up anyway before sticking my tongue out at him and headed to the bathroom. After I showered, I wrapped the towel around me and sneaked out to see if Nathan had left my room, he had. I quickly stormed out to my wardrobe and put my jeans and sweater on. I drained my hair and brushed it.

"Anna, you ready?" Nathan asked outside the door.

"Yep, I'm ready!" I said as I opened the door. He wore a black polkadot shirt and grey jeans, and also his red beanie as well. He stood there with a smile on his face. Damn he actually looks so gorgeous.

"Checking me out eh?" he smirked.

"In your dreams, Sykes" I rolled my eyes playfully.

He took me by the hand and we walked to his car, he opened the passenger door for me before getting in the driver seat. He pulled the driveways. He assured that we would go for breakfast first before going to the place where he has planned the surprise for me. I just nodded and we headed to a small cafe to have a breakfast. When we finished, we left.

"Now where are we going?"

"You'll see" he smiled.

"HOLYSHIT!"

I could not believe what I saw in front of me. Nathan took me to the HARRY POTTER STUDIO!! WHAT THE f**k! I have always wanted to go here. I looked over Nathan to see him smiling like an i***t.

"Come on take a look inside" he took me by hand and we went inside the studio.

I was speechless as we stepped inside the studio. It looked exactly the same! Nathan gave me the digital guide and I put the earphone on as I began to hear the explanation of the studio. We took a look of everything inside it. What made it even more fun is that we actually ride the broomstick! I really enjoyed being here, it's like I was in a real Hogwarts school. Yeah I'm a die-hard Potterhead!

"Nathan this is amazing!!" I jumped of excitement from riding the broomstick. Nathan just laughed at me as I was like a 5 years old kid, but I don't care. I really enjoy every moments of being here.

After that we went to try a cup of frothy Butterbeer, it's reminiscent of shortbread and butterscotch. It actually tasted great! Then we went to the studio shop as Nathan told me to take everything I want. He bought me a lot of stuff. I ended up buying the Time-Turner necklace, Bertie Boots-every flavour beans, Chocolates Frogs, Replica Wands, and a Gryffindor polo shirt. We have been here about 4 hours and my feet began to hurt.

"Nathan, I'm tired"

He looked over me. "Let's take a break and just sit in the cafe"

We went to the cafe near us. Nathan left to buy us drinks whilst I found the seat. I never thought Nathan would take me here, this is more than just a surprise. I really love it!

Then something hit me.

Edward once promised me that he would take me here on my 19th birthday which was a year ago but... he died before he could take me here. I closed my eyes as the flashback started.

-2 years ago-

"Baby, I really want to go to that Harry Potter studio" an 18 years old me said as I hang out with Edward, my boyfriend.

"You haven't been there?" he asked me with a curious look. I shook my head. "Well I promise I will take you there on your birthday next month" he winked at me.

"Oh my God, really? You promised?" I asked excitedly.

"Pinky promise" he giggled, raising his little finger and intertwined with mine.

He then leaned in to kiss me passionately. Edward was my first boyfriend, the first boy I fell in love with, the only boy that I loved.

-a day before my birthday-

"How could you! You cheated on me!" I shouted at him, tears falling from my eyes.

We were on our way back home. Edward drove me to my home as I cried my eyes out. I came to school to find Edward kissed that b***h, Erina. Erina was once my bestfriend in primary school but I found out that she only used me to get a good grade.

"I didn't cheat on you! I swear I didn't kiss her back! She told me she needed to talk but out of nowhere she kissed me" he explained.

"Liar! Then why didn't you pull away? Why didn't you come after me when I saw you both kissing? Why?!"

"Because she wouldn't let me go! Baby you have to believe me, I didn't cheat on you, you know how much I love you. I swear to God I'm not lying" he took my hand but I pushed his hand away. I was too hurt to trust this bullshit.

"Don't baby me, I don't want to hear any kind of bullshits you told me! I told you to stay away from her, not having any contact with her again but you just simply agreed to meet her. You lied to me, Edward! I hate you!"

"No please don't say that, you don't hate me. Anna please it was just a misunderstanding, look at me!" he grabbed my hand to look at me.

We shouted at each other when suddenly a car ran across our car.

"Edward watch out!!" I screamed.

Edward hit the brake but ended up losing the balance. I screamed as the car flipped over. I held Edward in my hug but I was thrown away from the car, rolled on the ground. I remembered my head hit a big rock and bled.

I saw the car stopped, I tried to stand up but my head hurt like hell, after a while I managed to run to the car where Edward was in. I couldn't even see if Edward was still inside as the car was totally crushed. I remembered screaming for help, trying to open the door of the car even though it was stuck but I kept trying. I kept trying to take Edward out of the car. My eyes was too blurry and that was the last thing I remembered before everything went black.

I woke up the next day to find myself in the hospital. I saw my mom and dad beside me, holding my hand. They sighed of relief once they saw me, and immediately hugged me.

"Oh thanks God you're alive honey" my mom said.

"We're so worried about you, Anna" my dad said.

"Mom, Dad, I'm fine" I smiled at them. I was actually fine, just my head that was still hurting. Then I remembered someone. "Where is Edward?" I asked.

My mom and dad pulled away from the hug and exchanged a concern look before turning back to me.

"Anna you need to sleep" my mom said.

"No, mom, answer me. Where is Edward? Is he okay?" I said as I sat up. None of my mom and dad answered me. "Mom? Dad? Please answer me. Where is Edward?" I repeated.

My mom looked at me for a second before holding my hand. "Honey, Edward is... he.." she stuttered. I raised my eyebrows, waiting for her to continue.

"Edward is dead" this time my dad said. My eyes widen as soon as he said that.

Edward died? You mean.. Died? Not breathing? Leaving me?

"You-You're joking, aren't you?"

"Honey, he's gone. He didn't make it. He lost a lot of blood because he was stuck inside the car" my mom had tears in her eyes.

I felt like someone choke me. I couldn't even think clearly of what she has just said. I couldn't understand any words that came out from her mouth.

"Mom this is so not funny. Please just call Edward to come here" I said.

"Anna, he has gone" my dad said.

"What are you talking about? Edward is not dead, he is completely fine! He won't leave me, he promised me. Fine then I'll just go to his house" I was about to get up but my mom stopped me.

"Anna, he IS dead! He has gone! He died as soon as the ambulance came, he didn't make it. The funeral will be held today" my mom said.

Tears fell as she said that. "N-no, that's not true. He didn't die. Please don't lie to me, this is not funny!"

"I'm so sorry honey but it's the truth"

"No you lied to me! Edward is not dead, he promised me to stay beside me until I die. He can't die, please just tell me it's not true" I began to sob so hard.

"I'm so sorry" my dad hugged me.

"I want to see my Edward!" I quickly got up and made my way outside the door.

"Anna, stop!" I heard my mom said behind me but I don't care. I kept running to find Edward.

I passed another room when I spotted someone I knew, it was his mom. I walked in the room. There were his mom, his dad, and 2 of his sisters there. Once they looked at me, his mom walked to hug me.

"Anna, I'm so sorry" she had tears in her eyes.

"Is that.. Edward? He is just sleeping, isn't he?" my voice cracked.

His mom looked at me and shook her head. I walked closer to the bed where Edward was laid in. He was covered with a white cover, I slowly uncovered him and my tears broke as I saw him. He was as pale as ghost. His eyes were closed. He was cold and.... not breathing.

"Edward it's me, please wake up" I whispered. He didn't move. I tried to wake him up but he didn't wake up. "Edward please wake up baby, please"

"Anna, he has gone" his mom said behind me.

"Baby you promised me to not leave me. Come on wake up baby, I'm so sorry for accusing you last night. Please wake up" I shook his body and no response. "Edward please wake up baby, please don't leave me"

I couldn't believe it. Edward didn't die, no he can't die. He promised me to be with me until I die. I refused to believe that he died.

"He has gone, Anna, let him go" his mom said.

"No, Edward please wake up. Wake up baby please. Edward!" I broke down.

I sobbed so hard. He has gone. My Edward has gone. He left me. He left me forever. He broke his promise to stay with me. It was all because of me. I was the cause of his death. It was all my fault that we got into the accident. I was being so selfish to not trust him. It was all my fault. All my fault. I killed him. I killed my Edward.

-present-

"Are you okay?"

I opened my eyes to find Nathan looking at me. The flashback ended and that was when I realized that I had tears in my eyes. I quickly wiped my tears and closed my eyes. How could I let the memories flow again. I have finally accepted Edward's death, I finally let him go after months of crying over him. And now I remembered about him again, bringing the pain back.

"Hey why are you crying?" He asked and when I didn't answer, I was pulled into hug. I don't remember how many times I have cried in front of him, I was so embarrassed that I was this weak in front of him. But his hug is always the one that comforts me, Nathan is the one who makes me feel better when I cry.

NATHAN'S P.O.V

I came back to find Anna closing her eyes, she had tears flowing from her beautiful features. Why was she crying?

"Are you okay?"

She opened her eyes and that's when I saw the sorrow, the pain, sadness filled her eyes. She quickly wiped her tears and closed her eyes with her hands. I don't know what happened, I pulled her into hug. It broke my heart to see her crying like this. She has been crying a lot, she deserves to be happy.

"Will you tell me why you are crying?" I asked as she pulled away from the hug. She sat down back on her chair, taking a deep breath as she began to tell me the story.

She told me about her boyfriend who sadly passed away a year ago because of a car accident. His name was Edward. Edward was her first boyfriend and they had been together for 3 years. She was with him when the accident happened. They both had an argument and ended up crashing on the road. The car was flipped. Anna was lucky that she was thrown away from the car and alive, but not her boyfriend. He was stuck inside the car, losing a lot of blood and died before the ambulance even came. He died on her 19th birthday, the day they were supposed to be happy because he promised her to take her here but sadly they couldn't make it before he could fulfill Anna's wish.

I felt sorry for her. It must be hard for her, losing the love of her life forever. I never thought she had a very heartbreak story about her love life. Her boyfriend died and she blamed herself for the cause of his death.

"It's not your fault, Ann. It was fate. Please don't blame yourself" I said after she finished telling me the whole story.

"I don't know, Nath. I thought I've forgotten about it but looking at this place brought the memory of him. It was my fault that I was being so selfish and the accident happened" her voice cracked.

"Hey, I may not know him in person but I'm sure he is happy in his place now. And I'm sure he will be so sad if his girlfriend keeps blaming herself about the accident" I rubbed her hand, trying to comfort her.

She is a very strong girl. I couldn't even imagine if it happened to me, if I were in her position. Losing someone I love most is the most painful thing that has ever happened. I could probably just die as well if it happened to me. But not for her, she kept strong. She hide her sadness with a smile. I have never seen someone so strong like her.

"I hope he will forgive me" she said.

"I'm sure he already did. He loves you" I said. She looked at me and smiled, finally. I would do anything to keep her smile on her beautiful face. "Come on don't be sad, I promised you we're going to have fun today" I added.

She wiped her tears and smiled. "I'm sorry and yeah let's take a look around again"

We stood up. I took her by the hand, pulling her closer to me. I won't let her tears falling from her face again, I will make her happy and I promise I will change her tears with beautiful smile. I don't want to see her sad again. She has had enough stress. It's now my turn to make her happy. I will be that guy who will make her happy and make sure to protect her. I just need to win her heart. I promise that.
