Chapter 28: Nathan and Ariana?

ANNA'S P.O.V

"So how come Scooter wants to see you but not the other boys?" I asked as Nathan and I headed to Scooter's office.

2 days after the fun day in the beach, Nathan got a phone call from Scooter that he needed to talk to him. But what I don't understand is that the other boys didn't receive a phone call from Scooter. Only Nathan did.

"Honestly I have no idea, babe"

Soon we arrived in Scooter's office. I looked at the famous albums on the walls. Justin Bieber, Rixton, Carly Rae Jepsen, PSY, The Wanted, and.. Ariana Grande?

Wait. Isn't she Nathan's ex girlfriend?

Before I could ask Nathan, Scooter already appeared in front of us.

"You're here, Nathan! Oh hey Anna" he smiled at us.

"Hi Scooter" I smiled at Scooter.

"Hey mate!" Nathan did the bro hug.

"I've been waiting for you mate, come in! Anna, I'm so sorry but you have to wait outside" he had an apologize look.

I nodded. "It's okay, I understand"

"I will ask the front lady to stay with you if you want"

"No no you don't have to, I'm okay. I will just wait here" I pointed at the sofa near me.

"Okay then, come on Nath" Scooter said to Nathan.

"I'm so sorry babe" Nathan whispered in my ear.

"It's okay Nathan" I smiled at him.

He pecked my lips. "I will be back soon"

NATHAN'S P.O.V

"So what is it that you wanted to talk to me?" I asked Scooter as we were in his office room.

"I want you to meet someone"

"Who?"

"Hi Nathan" a voice greeted me.

Wait, I knew that voice.

No, no that can't be.

I looked up to see her. No, not again. Please not the memories.

"It's been a while, huh?" She smiled at me. Her dimples, those I used to love.

She was here. She was here in front of me.

ANNA'S P.O.V

I sighed as I sat down on the sofa. I will have to be used to wait for Nathan whenever Scooter needed him to talk. I took the magazine from the table and read it. After a while, I got bored as hell. It has been 30 minutes and Nathan hasn't come out. I pulled out my phone and went scrolling my timeline. Nothing's interesting though. Then a tweet caught my attention.

Someone on my timeline retweeted a tweet of Ariana Grande. It said:

@ArianaGrande: Can't wait to reunite with my special guy... Hint: his name starts with N and ends with N too xxx

Is it possible if it was Nathan? His name starts in N and ends with N too.

Just then I heard a laugh coming from Scooter's office room, it was a girl's voice. Who was it?

"You're still the same Nathan that I used to know, I'm so happy to see you again, Nath" I heard her said.

I couldn't help but wonder who it was so I opened the door quietly and peek to see who it was. Then I saw them.

She sat on Nathan's lap whilst he had his hands around her. Their faces were just inch closer and the next I know, is that Ariana and Nathan kissing on the f*****g lips.

My mouth dropped. How could he? I just witnessed my boyfriend kissed his f*****g ex girlfriend!

I closed the door back and ran outside the office, tears streaming down my face. How could he do this to me? I don't want to be here again. I just kept running, no idea where to go. I sobbed so hard. Just then I bumped into someone.

"God I'm so sorry" I apologized as the person fell on their bum.

Great. I just hurt some random person because me being emotional and clumsy.

"It's okay" he stood up and looked at me. My eyes widen as I saw who he was.

"Thyme?"

He looked as surprised as me. "Anna? Hey!" he pulled me into hug. "Whoa what's with those tears? Are you okay?" He asked as we pulled away.

Those questions had break all my heart. I started crying, like a mad girl. It hurt to know that your boyfriend kissed another girl behind your back. I was pulled into hug once again, but relaxed when I knew it was Thyme.

"Sshh it's okay" Thyme rubbed my back.

I hugged him back. I needed someone to comfort me and I needed him.

"Let's find a place to talk to and you can tell me everything, I can keep a secret" he said as I just nodded.

We ended up going to the nearest Starbucks. I sat on the couch while Thyme went to order the drinks. I wiped my tears when I felt better. I felt my phone vibrating, it was a call from Nathan but I just ignored it. I wasn't angry to him, I was just disappointed. And betrayed.

"There you go" Thyme said and handed me a hot chocolate.

"Thanks Ty" I smiled at him and took a gulp.

"How are you feeling now?"

"Better"

"Good, now tell me why you were upset"

I took a deep breath before telling him everything about what had happened today. How I saw Nathan kissed Ariana, running through the street and ended up bumping into him. I felt so betrayed.

The whole time, Thyme just looked at me and sometimes rubbing my back when I was close to cry again.

"That bastard, he'd better have a good explanation about this. How could he do this behind you? He doesn't deserve you, Anna" he said as I finished talking.

I sighed. "But I love him so much. He makes me really happy. I just don't get why he did this to me. Was I not good enough? Was I not like what he wanted me to be?"

He lift my chin up. "No, you are already good enough. He is just stupid to hurt someone as kind as you"

I smiled in grateful. His words had enough made me feel much better. Just then my phone vibrated again, this time I received a text. I unlocked my phone to see 14 misscalls and 6 messages from Nathan. I read the texts.

The meeting is done, where are you? Xx

Babe where are you? Answer my calls please xx

From: Nathan❤️

Babe are you okay? Please answer my calls, I can't find you anywhere

WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? PLEASE ANSWER MY CALLS!

Baby please please answer my call or any of my texts, I need to know if you are okay. I'm so worried about you

"Worried my ass" I grunted as I read his text.

Thyme chuckled. "What did he text you?"

Are you mad at me? What did I do? Please answer my calls for once, I need to know why

Seriously? He acted like he didn't know what his fault is. Oh let me just tell him why.

To: Nathan❤️

Don't bother to look for me, go back kissing your ex.

I pressed the send icon and showed Thyme the rest of the text before shoving my phone back into my pocket.

"He's going to flip when he reads your text" Thyme laughed.

"I better hope he will"

"You know what, let's just forget about him for a while and come with me" he said as he extended his hand to me.

"Where to?" I raised an eyebrow.

"You will love it, I promise" he winked at me, taking me by the hand as we headed to his car.

THYME IS TAKING ME TO MEET DYLAN O'BRIEN AND THOMAS SANGSTER

"Close your mouth, Anna, there's flies everywhere" Thyme laughed.

I'm hyperventilating right now. I'm going to meet my favorite actors. Thyme waved his hand to Dylan and Thomas.

"Yo mate!" Dylan did the bro hug, along with Thomas.

"Hey guys, I want you to meet my-"

"Your girlfriend? Whoa mate she's so beautiful, you're lucky" Dylan cut Thyme's words. I then turned so red.

Thyme gasped. "No no not my girlfriend" I could tell you he blushed as well.

"Yet" Thomas added while chuckling.

"Anyway, guys meet Anna, my friend. Anna, I'm sure you've known them both right?" Thyme said as I excitedly nodded.

"Yes! God I love you both so much, you are literally my favorite actors. Especially you, Tom, since Love Actually" I jumped a little of excitement, earning a laugh from them.

"Aww you're so cute babe! Come here" Thomas opened his arms to hug me.

"Oi back off mate, I wanna hug her too" Dylan took over and hugged me as well.

Thomas pouted but then joined in the group hug, along with Thyme too. They are so lovely!

"Okay guys stop or you are going to kill me" I said as I was hardly breathing because of their hugs. They immediately pulled away.

"Ops sorry!" Dylan giggled.

We sat on a big sofa. I saw Ki Hong Lee, Will Poulter, and Kaya Scodelario as well. I introduced myself to them and we just talk some random things.

"You're such a lovely girl, Anna. No wonder why Thyme couldn't shut his mouth from talking about you" Kaya giggled.

I looked up to see a blushing Thyme beside, I giggled.

We spent hours by talking and we became great friends since then. They were all so lovely and fun guys to hang out with, I had so much fun with them.

"By the way, since Alex couldn't come to the premiere, why don't you come with us instead?" Dylan asked me.

My jaw dropped. "Can I? But wait, no, no, I don't think it will be a good idea. I'm not an actor"

"It doesn't matter, Anna. Dylan took his granny too sometimes" Thomas said.

Everyone laughed.

I looked at Dylan. "Your granny, huh?"

He glared at us. "Shut up you guys"

"Come on, Anna, come with us" Kaya said.

"Well, when is it?" I asked.

"The day after tomorrow"

I nodded. "Okay, I'm in"

Soon they screamed of excitement, I laughed at their silliness. When I looked at my phone, it was already 8 pm. As much as I love being here, I need to get home. Everyone must be worried.

"I'd better leave now, everyone must be worried about me" I announced.

"Let me drive you home" Thyme said and I just nodded.

I said goodbye to the boys and Kaya before joining Thyme to his car as he drove me back to my hotel room.

"Today was absolutely amazing, I had so much fun today. Thank you for everything you did today" I smiled at Thyme as we arrived at the hotel.

"No problem. I don't like seeing my friend's sad"

I smiled. "You're a good guy, Ty. Thank you so much. I better get inside. Thanks for the ride"

"You're welcome. Text me whenever you need someone to talk to, I will be there faster than The Flash" he winked.

I chuckled. "Whatever you say, Ty"

He chuckled and opened his arms to hug me, I hugged him back and pulled away. I said goodbye to him and stepped into the lift. I pressed the 8 floors as the lift going up. I smiled as I remembered that today I finally met Dylan and Thomas, and we became great friends.

The lift stopped at the 8th floors and I stepped out. I walked straight to my room, then I stopped. I remember about what I saw earlier today, about Nathan and Ariana kissing. I was still pissed at him and surely I didn't want to see him tonight. But my stuff was inside the room. Maybe I can stay in Jay's room since he is the one who has no roommate.

Just when I was about to go leave, the door opened and there stood Nathan. He was surprised to see and immediately crashed me into his hard chest.

"Oh thanks God, you're okay. I'm so damn worried about you" his voice cracked.

I just stood there, not hugging him back. He betrayed me today. I can't forget that easily.

I pushed him away. "Don't touch me"

He frowned. "Babe about what you saw today I-"

I raised both my hands in defeat. "I don't want to hear it. I saw it myself, there's no need to explain it to me. I've seen enough"

I pushed past him and took my pajama from my suitcase. I sent a quick text to Jay and asked if I could sleep in his room tonight. He replied with an okay which I'm grateful for.

"Babe I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to kiss her. It was just a friendly kiss" he said behind me.

I stopped what I was doing and looked at him. "A friendly kiss? Since when friends can kiss each others lips?"

He sighed. "I'm sorry, I had no choice. There was another company in Scooter's office room and we-"

"Do me a favor and stop telling me lies. I'm tired, okay" I said as I took my pajama and went straight to the bathroom to get changed.

I washed my face and brushed my teeth before opening the door to find Nathan stood still in front of the bathroom door, I just walked past him.

"Anna, babe, please forgive me. I know it's so wrong of me. I'm really sorry" he sounded broken behind me. I felt bad to upset him, but he upset me even more.

"I'm sleeping in Jay's room tonight" I announced, taking the hotel slippers.

"What? No, please, please stay here. I'll take the couch, you can take the bed for the night. Please don't leave me" he begged.

I ignored him. I have never felt so bad to do this to him, he sounded so broken. But I can't forgive him easily, not when he betrayed me.

"Please" I heard him said.

"You know Nath.. I was wrong to think that you actually love me" I said quietly, almost like a whisper. I don't think Nathan heard it.

I opened the door of our room when I heard Nathan's broken voice. "I'm so sorry"

I stopped and turned to him. "Me too"

With that, I closed the door behind me and went to Jay's room across our room, leaving Nathan alone in our bedroom. Once I closed the door, I broke down in tears. I never wanted to upset him like this. It broke me too to see him like this. But I can't just forget what he did today. He needed to realize his mistake too.

When Jay opened the door, I broke down in tears in front of him. He immediately pulled me into hug and asked me what went wrong. I told him everything about Nathan and Ariana. He seemed surprised to hear it but didn't utter a word just until I finished ranting. He calmed me down with his funny stories and for once I'm glad that he was here to cheer me up.
