Chapter 29: Another fight

NATHAN'S P.O.V

She left. She's not staying in our room tonight. That just showed how f****d up I am. Anna is never the one who hold grudges, but when she is really upset, she will leave everything behind to cool down. At least I knew that she will be safe with Jay, I know he will cheer her up. I trust my brother.

And I f*****g hate myself right now. I should have never agreed to kiss Ariana, however much I'm forced to do it. I'm such a dickhead, I have to fix it. I laid on the bed and sighed as I saw an empty side beside me. Coldness.

How could I hurt her like this. How could I be so stupid to hurt her. She is too precious and she doesn't deserve to go through this. I closed my eyes as I tried to catch some sleep. And I hope, tomorrow everything will be back to the way it used to be.

ANNA'S P.O.V

When I woke up, I thanked Jay for letting me stay the night and went back to mine and Nathan's room. Once I was in, I saw Nathan sitting on the couch with his hands in his head. He looked pretty stressed.

I awkwardly walked to my suitcase to grab my cloths when Nathan spotted me. I didn't know what to do, he didn't say anything yet, so I just kept myself busy with my bag.

"I know you don't want to hear it, but I'm not lying when I said I was forced to kiss her" he began. "There was another label company in Scooter's room. Scooter made us to do it so we could get promoted. I refused but Scooter forced me. I couldn't do anything, so I had to agree" he sighed.

Wait, he was forced?

"I never wanted to hurt you like this, Anna. I will never cheat on you. I know how it feels to be cheated on, but I will never do that to the one I love"

I sighed and turned to him. "Are you telling me the truth?"

He nodded weakly. "I'm sorry you had to see that. I'm really sorry"

I sighed as approached him and sat on his lap. I looked into his eyes and they were telling me truth, it was enough to prove that he was not lying.

I buried my head on the crook of his neck. "I'm really sorry, I overreacted"

He hugged me and rubbed my back. "It's not your fault, it's mine. I should have thought your feelings instead of just agreed to kiss someone from my past"

I sniffled. "But still, I should have listened to your explanation instead of being a coward and accused you for cheating on me and left you last night"

Now I felt so bad for not giving him a chance to explain everything last night. I'm such a coward. I'm a selfish b***h.

He lift my chin up to look into my eyes. "You were not being a coward. You had every right to be mad, I didn't blame you. Let's just forget about our fight and move on, okay?"

I nodded and wiped my eyes. "Okay"

He smiled. "I love you Anna"

"I love you too Nathan"

He pulled me closer and kissed me with so much love and passion. We both made a mistake, we are only human. I kissed him back with so much love as well. Eventually we pulled away to catch our breath. Nathan smiled and pecked my lips once again before carrying me to bed and pulled me closer. We just cuddled and stared at the ceiling in silence.

"I need to tell you something" he said as he played with my hair.

"What is it?"

He sighed. "Scooter made a contract for me to work with Ariana again. We are recording a duet song so I have to work with her again"

I frowned. "And you agreed to do that?"

"It's only for 1 song, after that I'm done with her. Besides, I don't have feelings for her anymore. She is just my past, we both already moved on. Now we are only friends, that's all"

I sighed and thought about it. I would be selfish if I disagreed with him. It was a part of his job too. He loves singing, and being in a duet song would help him to get more recognition in music industry. I have to support him.

"Okay, you can work with her. But no flirting things"

He smiled. "No flirting things, I promise"

Later that day, we left to Scooter's office again to discuss about his upcoming duet song with Ariana. And as usual, I stayed outside the office room, waiting for Nathan. I sat on the couch, bored as usual. I scrolled down my timeline to find nothing interesting so I log off.

"Anna, isn't it?" someone said beside me.

I turned to see Ariana standing beside me. How did she know me?

"How do you know my name?"

"Nathan told me about you. So you are his new girlfriend" her tone of voice was annoying. She looked at me from down to top, like I was a disgusting human being.

"And you are his ex" I blurted out.

Yeah 2 can play in a game eh?

"Best girl he had ever had. I was and still his best girl he has ever had" she smirked.

I don't like the way she spoke to me. She seemed like a b***h type who can do anything she wanted to get what she wanted.

"You are nothing compared to me, Anna. I don't understand what Nathan sees in you, you're ugly" she chuckled, showing her perfect dimple on her cheek.

My heart sank as she said that. Her words were just as sharp as a knife. First Leah, then Ariana.

She smirked when I said nothing. "You don't belong to him, sweetie. You are nothing"

With that, she left to go back inside Scooter's office room. I stayed on the couch and couldn't help but being upset for everything she had said to me. I'm not gonna lie, it hurts a lot. I had to admit that Nathan and Ariana both did look so perfect together. Nathan is gorgeous, Ariana is beautiful, and they both have amazing vocals.

And here I am

I'm nothing compared to her. Maybe she was right, I don't belong to Nathan. Nathan was too good for me, I don't deserve Nathan.

"Babe are you okay?" someone tapped my shoulder. I looked up to see Nathan with a worry look in his face.

"I'm okay"

"Be honest with me, babe. You looked so upset, is it because of yesterday? Baby, I promise you there's nothing going on between me and Ari"

I chuckled. "Nathan calm down, I'm fine. I'm not upset"

Good thing that I'm good at hiding my emotions.

He sighed. "Okay. Anyway I'm done here, we can leave now"

I just nodded and we were about leave when someone called Nathan. We turned to see.. Ariana.

"Nathan, Scooter called for you. He said he needed to tell you something" she smiled at Nathan. I couldn't help but sent her glares. She started to piss me off so much.

Nathan sighed. "Okay. Oh by the way, Ari, meet my girlfriend Anna. Babe, this is Ariana"

Ariana looked at me with so much hate in her eyes, like she was ready to murder me. Then she stepped closer and extended her hand to me.

"Nice to meet you, Anna" she smiled at me. I mean, a very fake smile.

"You too, Ari"

"Okay I'll see what Scooter wants this time" Nathan said to me. I just nodded and he pecked my lips before going back to Scooter's office room with Ariana behind him. But before she could turn back, I saw her grinned at me. The new world war is about to start.

"What's up with that Ariana girl?" I asked as Nathan and I both had our late lunch in a small cafe.

"What do you mean?" he munched his food.

I shrugged. "She said mean things to me earlier, saying that I'm ugly and that I don't deserve you. And the way she spoke to me like I was a piece of dirt in her eyes. Did she really hate me that much?"

Nathan looked so surprised. "What? Are you sure she really said that? That doesn't sound like her. She never tells bad things to people, she is too lovely to do that"

That pissed me off so much

"Too lovely eh?" I asked sarcastically.

He stopped eating and looked at me. "Okay what is this about? Are you jealous?"

I rolled my eyes. "If yes then what? You are my boyfriend and I have every right to be jealous, especially when you get too close with the so called Ariana Grande"

He frowned. "What's wrong with you? Why are you being so mean to her?"

"You didn't see when she humiliated me!" I spat.

That made him angry

"She did NOT! She is a lovely girl, she never speaks rude to anyone. You're just too jealous to her because she's doing a duet with me, your mind just messed up! She didn't do anything wrong so stop creating drama about her!" he yelled at me, earning looks from people around us.

I was too shocked. I couldn't believe Nathan would yell at me to defend her, in front of people. It's so obvious that he still have feelings for her. I couldn't help but fought tears that ready to betray my eyes. He f*****g yelled at me!!

He seemed to realize what he has just done because then his eyes soften. "Baby I-"

"Don't. I've heard it enough" my voice cracked, that's when the tears betrayed my eyes. I grabbed my bag and left. I don't want to be here, I don't want people to watch me like this.

"Anna wait!" I heard Nathan's calling behind me but I kept on running, ignoring that I could possibly bumped into someone again.

After running for a while, my breaths became heavy. I stopped and turned around to see no one, Nathan was nowhere to be seen. I sighed of relief. I sat on a small bench, catching my breaths. I was still sobbing, how could Nathan yell at me like that? He wasn't there when Ariana told those things to me!

I unlocked my phone to see 9 missed calls and 5 texts from Nathan. I don't need to read those texts so I immediately deleted them without opening them. I will for sure not staying with him tonight, not until I clear my mind. My phone vibrated again and this time it was Kaya.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Anna! Are you busy today?" she asked on the phone.

"No, why?"

"I wonder if we can go dress shopping for tomorrow's premiere?"

Oh yeah I forgot about the premiere tomorrow.

"Yeah sure, text me the place and I will be there"

"Okay, see you later hun!"

"Bye" I said before I hung up the call.

"That was fun!" I giggled as we finished shopping. Shopping made me feel so much better, especially after what had happened earlier.

"It was! I'm glad you chose that black dress, it is really beautiful" she shoved a spoon of ice cream.

"It's beautiful! I can't wait to wear it tomorrow"

"Me too! Wanna sleep over at ours tonight? We can do our make up together tomorrow" she offered.

Good offer! Because there is no way I will go back to the hotel room with Nathan today.

"Sure, it's going to be fun!"

We then go back to the boys's house, actually it was a base-camp, like The Wanted's house. I'm glad that I had a place to stay for tonight. A night with the boys would be fun. Kaya unlocked the door and opened it to find the boys played pillow fight. The house looked a mess, pillows everywhere.

"Holyshit guys stop! You're gonna destroy this house" Kaya said as we walked in.

When they spotted me with Kaya, they screamed. "IT'S ANNAAA"

"Heeeeey you are here" Dylan was the first to hug me, following by Thomas, Ki Hong, Will, and Thyme. We did a group hug.

"We miss you Anna" Will giggled.

"Guys I can't breath" I groaned. They giggled and pulled away.

"Glad to see you again, Anna" Thyme said.

"You too guys. Anyway I'm staying here for the night" I smiled at them and that's when the boys jumped and running through the house excitedly. These guys are crazy! I can't wait to spend the night with them.

NATHAN'S P.O.V

Fuck, f**k, fuck

I'm so f****d up!

Not only that I yelled at Anna and accused her of creating drama about Ariana, turned out that she was right. Ariana admitted it that she said those horrible things to Anna. I couldn't believe her, she would never do this to anyone. I felt so betrayed.

Now I'm worried sick about Anna because she has not come back and it's already freaking midnight! I dialed her number a hundred times but not for once she picked it up. I texted her so many times but she won't answer any of them.

Where is she? Is she okay out there? LA is still a new place to her and I'm sure she doesn't know a lot of places here. How if she was kidnapped? How if she was robbed? How if she was missing in town?

"Still no answer?" Jay asked. I just nodded while kept dialing her number.

"She's going to be okay, she will come back mate" Max said this time.

"Siva, can I borrow your phone to call her? Maybe she will pick it up if it's from your number" I said.

"Yeah sure, here" Siva handed me his phone.

I searched for her number and immediately dialed her number. I waited, I really hoped she would pick it up.

"Hello Seev?"

FINALLY SHE ANSWERED MY PHONE CALL!

"Oh thanks God, babe it's me. Where the hell are you? Do you even know what time is it?! You could get hurt there! Please come back" I spoke too soon, my heart was racing in worry.

"I don't want to talk to you, bye" she was about to hang up but I yelled.

"Don't you dare hang up my call!" I yelled in hope she would not hang up.

"What do you want?" she asked calmly but I could sense anger in her tone of voice.

"I want you to come back so we can talk. I made a big mistake today for not trusting you, I'm really sorry. Please just come back and let me explain" I pleaded.

I heard her laughed sarcastically. "Is that what you expect? Me going back to you and forgive you after you explain things to me? That easy?"

I sighed. "Babe, listen I-"

"You yelled at me to defend her when I was trying to tell you the truth. Did you really think I would make up things about her just to get you away from her? I'm not a selfish b***h, I know what I saw and what I heard. She said those horrible things to me and I think you should know it too. But guess what I got? A f*****g yell from my boyfriend in front of people. How nice is that?"

"I know I was wrong, I couldn't believe it either that Ari would say such horrible things to you but you were right. She did it to you and I couldn't be more guilty to yell at you when you were trying to tell me the truth. Babe, I'm really sorry"

"Don't baby me, I'm not your babe, Ariana is. Look, if you're still in love with her then just go back to her. Forget everything that's happened between us"

My heart raced when she said that. "No, don't you dare say that, god dammit! I only love you, Anna, I don't love Ariana. Please, you have to hear me out. I f*****g love you, just you, no one else!"

I sounded desperate but she needed to know that she is the only one I love. I can't lose her. I don't want to lose her. Ever.

"Babe it's dangerous out there, please come back" I pleaded once again.

I heard her sighed. "Listen, I can't go back now, not when you really hurt my feelings. I need some space"

"No, please, please come back. Hate me all you want, but please come back. I can't be calm knowing you're out there alone"

"I'm safe here, don't worry" she said quietly. "Look I gotta go, bye"

"Wait, wait, don't ha- god dammit!" I shouted as the line went dead.

I immediately dialed her number again but it was switched off. Great. Just f*****g great. It proves at how s**t I am as a boyfriend. I made her upset yesterday and I did it again today, and she really left this time. Why can't I do something right in my life?
