Chapter 21: Shopping

NATHAN'S P.O.V

When I woke up, Anna was no where to be seen. Her bedside was empty with coldness. I rubbed my eyes as I made my way downstairs to the kitchen only to find the figure of Anna sleeping on the kitchen counter. Her head rested on it whilst her left hand holding a cup.

I noticed that Anna had been so sad recently, I guess it was because of what Leah did the other day. The lads and the girls had gone to LA last week. We finally finished our third term and officially on holiday. Nano has booked mine and Anna's tickets to LA for the day after tomorrow.

Little did Anna know, that I'm going to surprise her by taking her with me to LA. It's going to be a nice trip with her.

"Babe, wake up" I gently shook her shoulder. She stirred a bit but continued sleeping. "Anna, wake up baby" I said once again.

She groaned. "Go away, let me sleep!"

I chuckled. "Come on babe, wake up"

She hissed in annoyance and sat up, rubbing her eyes. My baby looked so cute.

"Why were you sleeping in the kitchen?" I asked as I sat across her.

She yawned. "I made a cuppa earlier, I guess I fell asleep after that"

"Well, I have a surprise for you"

She looked at me. "What kind of surprise?"

I stood up and took her hand in me. "Come with me"

ANNA'S P.O.V

I giggled. "Is this really necessary?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise if you see it," Nathan said as he lead me to walk. Apparently it was his idea to blindfold me.

"Alriiighty then"

He chuckled. He then stopped me from walking and lead me to sit down. I guess we were in his room by the bed I sat on.

"Here, hold this" he handed me something which seemed like a piece of paper or something.

"Is this a piece of paper?"

"I don't know, you tell me" he said as he unfolded the scarf on my eyes.

I opened my eyes to see an envelope in my hand. I raised an eyebrow at him but he just bite his lips like he was trying to hold his excitement. He motioned me to open the envelope, and I did. My eyes widen when I saw what's inside.

"No f*****g way!"

"Surprise! You're coming to LA with me!" He cheered.

It was 2 boarding plane tickets with my name and Nathan's. The destination is to Los Angeles.

"NATHAN!" I immediately pulled him into hug.

He chuckled and hugged me back. "I take it you're liking the surprise then?"

I nodded eagerly. "Very! I've always wanted to go to there and you just made my dreams come true! Thank you, thank you!" I attacked him with kisses on his cheek repeatedly.

He smirked. "I'm loving the kisses"

"Shut up, you just made me really happy today. I'm so excited!"

"It's all for you babe" He said and leaned to kiss me. I giggled and kissed him back.

We pulled away as we were breathless from the passionate kiss.

"We will stay there for a month" he announced.

I smirked. "Looks like I'll have to pack a lot of stuff"

"Shall we go shopping?"

We have been wondering the shopping center for about 2 hours. We have bought a lot of stuff, by that means Nathan had bought 4 pairs of hats. Don't ask me why, he has that weird obsession with hats.

"Should we go there?" Nathan pointed at Victoria's Secret store.

"For what?"

He looked at me. "Bikini hunting for you, duh, come on" before I could even protest, he already dragged me to the store.

As we reached the store, we went straight to the bikini stands. I saw some pretty bikinis. That reminds me of what Leah said about me.

Fat

I couldn't help but feeling insecure whenever I remember her hurtful words about me. I'm aware that I don't have a good body shape. I have many fat spots around my stomach. And I'm not as slim as Leah. That makes me feel even more insecure. I won't look good in bikinis.

I sighed. "Nathan, I don't think I-" before I could finish my words, Nathan handed me a pair of red bikini. (Picture on the display)

"Try this babe" he smiled. I couldn't say no so I just nodded and went to the fitting room.

I closed the door with Nathan waited outside the fitting room. I undressed myself and put the bikini on. Once I finished, I looked at my self in the mirror.

"What the f**k" I muttered in surprised. This push up bikini made my boobs bigger. There's no way I would wear this, I would look like a thirsty b***h.

Just when I was about to take them off, the door was opened and Nathan quickly invited himself in. s**t I forgot to lock the damn door!!

I quickly covered my body with my shirt. "What the hell are you doing here? Get out!" I yell-whispered.

"I wanna see you in that, come on let me see" he tried to take my shirt from me. Key word, tried.

I groaned in protest but Nathan managed to shove my shirt away, leaving me with the bikini on. Once he saw me, his eyes widen. I felt extremely uncomfortable that he was staring at my body, mostly my boobs duh. Nobody has ever seen me half naked like this, not even Edward and Nick.

I looked at Nathan's eyes as he stared at my body. It was not lust. It was more of admiration.

"You're so beautiful," he muttered, more to himself. Blood rushed on my cheeks as he said that. He stepped ahead and took my hands in his. "You're so damn beautiful, babe"

I blushed. "Stop staring at my body, it feels weird!"

He chuckled. "But it's true, you're beautiful"

I smiled gratefully. "Thank you, but there's no way I will be wearing this"

"Why not?"

"Can't you see it? I look like a thirsty b***h. This bikini reveals my skin too much," I protested as I covered my body again. "Beside, I look fat" I said the last part quietly.

I guessed Nathan heard it because then he frowned. "You're kidding, right? Look at me, you are beautiful. Your body is beautiful too. You are beautiful the way you are, sweetheart"

I smiled at him. His words had enough making me feel more confident. He did know how to make me feel better.

"I love you, remember that" he said as he leaned in to kiss me, I kissed back though.

It was weird to kiss Nathan while I was nearly naked, but that makes me feel hot in this situation. I felt Nathan's hands ran down to bum. I pulled away.

"Control your hormone, Sykes" I glared at him playfully.

He chuckled. "It's not my fault, you're just so sexy and distracting"

I rolled my eyes. "Men," I picked up my shirt and looked at him. "Now get out, I'm going to get changed"

He shook his head. "Nope, I'll stay here"

I hit his chest. "NATHAN!"

"Oww okay, okay, I'll go. Jeez woman" he glared at me before opening the door. But before he closed the door back, he turned to me and winked.

I shook my head in disbelief. Once he was out, I locked the door and got changed. Even though the bikini was gorgeous but there's no way I will wear this. Once I finished, I walked out to meet Nathan.

"I can't wear this, Nathan" I announced as I hung the bikini back.

He frowned. "Yes you can. You will need bikinis in LA and I will take this whether you like it or not" he said before taking the bikini again.

I rolled my eyes as he headed to the cashier to pay.

"So, when do we leave?"

We just came back from shopping and currently just cuddling in bed. We went shopping for like, 5 hours, and I could barely feel my legs.

"Tomorrow night"

I nodded. "It will be a nice trip, I guess"

"Yep. I'm so excited to go abroad with you" he smiled at me.

I smiled and leaned in to kiss him. He kissed me back passionately. I love kissing Nathan. Something about Nathan makes me crave him. He is just so pure and amazing. Eventually we pulled away to catch our breath. And we just stared at each others without saying anything. Just silence and peace. Nathan snuggled into the crook of my neck.

"Don't ever leave me," Nathan muttered softly.

I smiled. "I won't, promise"

"Good. Because I can't imagine a life without you in it, Anna. I love you so much"

"I love you too Nathan"

We just stayed like this, admiring each others. I'm very grateful to have met Nathan. He is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I couldn't be more grateful to have him in my life.
