The Girl With The Tiger Eyes

In this wonderful land there were some of the most beautiful countries. The first being called Luna Sarkany. This country was broken down into many different territories. It was once said that the territory was once whole and ruled by the great Dragon Queen. The Dragon Queen had two daughters Luna and Suncrest. Luna was a great dragon of the moon and Suncrest was the great dragon of the sun. So with that she wanted her daughters to have the chance to rule their own lands. So she divide the countryside up between the three of them. Then give all of the lands names. There were nine different territories in there kingdom. The Luna Queen had the territories in the north they were called Oceans Edge, Crescent Luna Desert and Black Rock Mountains. The Suncrest Queen had the lands in the south east part of the country they were called Suncrest Desert, the Badlands and the Sumala Forest. The dragon queen kept one of the lands in the east called Sarkany Mountains, and two in the south called Wildwood Forest and Fengari Mountains. They had done this so that they could help each other out with keeping the peace throughout the country. One by one the queens died off. The last queen to past on was the Luna Queen which had made her home in the Sarkany Mountains after her mother and sister had pasted on. After so many years had passed all knowledge of the queens had disappeared. The Luna queen had pasted down her bloodline through a daughter of her own. Which later had a daughter as while. That daughter is the one that lived in the land were the mountains was so tall that they almost could touch the clouds, were the streams and rivers were so full of life and beauty. Where the grass were so green and were the flowers was so brightly colored. There were many different kind of creatures that live there in the woods, mountains, rivers and streams of this land and it was the Sarkany Mountains. On one of these mountains there was a village half of the way up it. It was called the Village Of Shafter. Now there were five big villages left in the country of Luna Sarkany and many small villages that wasn’t heard of. The other four big villages were Oceans Edge Villa, Dragon Knight Village, Hidden Luna Village and the Roaming Wolf Villa all of this villages were in the northern part of the country. But the main village was the Village Of Shifter With its little but very gorgeous castle.The castle was made of beautiful big stones. The stones where a real pretty red and gray color. The castle stood at the top of the village towering over it. Like a little watch tower. This was a village full of some of the most wonderful and odd race of people. They were the most strong, willing, hardworking, fighting people that you would ever know. They would do everything for everyone an offer there there protected to whom ever may needed it. They had abilities like no others around the country. Some could change into animals this is why we were called shifter. When a shifter child is born they would take the form of an animal that makes them feel safe and strong. Later in the children’s life they develop their powers and when they reach the age of five years old. They are taken to the hatching grounds thats inside the mountains. The hatching grounds is were dragons would go to lay their eggs. The baby dragons can feel the bond with there rider as soon as it is born. So this is where a new born dragon would pick its child to be its life partner friend and rider. Depending on what kind of dragons that had picked the child. Is depending on what the child would be doing when it would come of age. The dragons also helped with watching over the village and keeping the peace. Queen Catalina and King Caro also helped with keeping the peace. They were while known by many people throw out the countryside. They had helped many people during times of need before. Queen Catalina was known for her kindness and her strength. She was also very wise. She is the one that was said to be the descendant of the Luna Queen. The king was a warrier he was very strong. Both the king and queen stood up for what they believed in. For their people of the kingdom an their family.They had five beautiful children. The oldest was their only son his Cal he had black eyes, short gray hair and dark skin. He was also very tall, thin, packed with muscle. H was also very smart, and strong he could shift into a silver fox. He was nine years old. There eldest daughter was Sabean she had black eyes, long white hair she was tall too. Her skin was very light almost a white. She was very graceful and kind she could shift into a great big white eagle. She was seven years old. Then there was Tigereye she was the middle sibling an very different from her other sibling’s. She had tiger like eye’s that was as blue as the moon. Her dark skin was a dark tan, She had very long black hair down to her butt. She was smart, strong, fast, and extremely feisty. She hated being told what to do. She had a heart of gold. She could shift into a white and black tiger big and beautiful. She cared for everyone and never thought of herself. She’s just turning five years old. Then there were the twin’s girls which also took forms of tigers as while their names were Tigra and Tigress they had short brown hair and yellowish green eyes. They both took the form of tan and black tigers. The twins were three years old. The queen had pretty long white hair, blue eye’s that looked like tiger eyes, she was dark skinned and very tall. She was a beautiful white lion and the king had long black hair, brown eyes. He was very tall an very well built with muscle all over his body. He would shift into a big black bear. Cal and Sabean also had dragons they were gold. They also had there healing stones that were made of amber. Which had been give to them the day there dragons had picked them.When a new born dragon hatch’s they are born with the stone in there egg that links the dragons healing powers to there bonded rider. This stone allows the person to use it to heal any wounds that are not deadly. The queen was very pride of all of her children. She kept a close eye on all of her children. Watching them grow and learn. People from all over the country would come to the queen for her help. Some people even brought things into their village to trade for food and clothes. The queen was always happy to help others in need. In the meantime across the big ocean there was another country that was ruled by a man called the emperor. He was evil and a very curl man. The evil emperor wanted to rule over all of the lands. He had no powers but was known in his lands for his curtly in the battle field. He showed no mercy or remorse.Everyone feared him. He was a warrier in every way possible. He never stood down and cared nothing for anyone. He was also a r****t. He would f**k a women until they were died. He destroy anything an anyone that got in his way. An if he thought that you were more powerful then himself. He would have them killed. One day he was told about this wonderful land by some travelers that had come to the Emperors land from the Queens Catalina's country. The Emperor wanted to know more about this land that he had heard so much about. So he made it his priority to find more out about this so-called wonderful country. He wanted to rule it all. So he sent out scouts. In the Mean time it was little Tigereye's turn to join the group of children that where going to visit the hatching grounds. It was Hatching Day. So it was time for new baby dragons to be born an come into this bright new world. An come forth and pick out the child they would be forever bonded to. All of the children were very excited that they were going to the dragon hatching grounds today. It was the most special day for a five year old. Tigereye couldn’t wait. She had been waiting for this day for a long time. She was so happy that she was getting her turn to go to the hatching grounds. They all walked into the big cave full of beautiful stones and big beautiful shiny eggs. The children were walking all around looking at all of the eggs. some of the children were rubbing on them an making wishes to the eggs that they liked the most. As Tigereye walked throughout the cave. There were alot of eggs but not one of them spoke to her like her mother said it would. After looking for such a long time she was about to give up. When she thought she hear a very soft whisper I'm here. Don't go. She then looked up an spotted an egg. It was in the very back of the cave. Up on a high ledge in the dark. Even though the egg was sitting in the dark it was like the egg was shining for her. She could see it with her tiger eyes.The egg had been sitting there by its self for a very long time. Every one had thought it was no good because it never hatched. The great dragon had lay it before she passed away. The egg was three different colors blue with diamond shapes all over it. It was a very special egg. It was the last of a very special breed of dragons. The queen was always hoping that there would be a day that the egg would hatch. There has never ever been another egg laid like it since then. The children sat down in a cycle on some rocks waiting for the new baby dragons to start hatching. As the children were sitting there waiting they song songs and laugh. Tigereye had made some new friends while she was waited. It would depended on what kind of dragon that picked the child that would decide the child's future in the kingdom. For example if they would become a Worker, guardian, or warrior. The eggs had finally started hatching child where so excited when they were picked by their dragons. Most of the child in the group were to be warriors or guards for the royal family an there were a few workers. All of her new friend’s had already been picked by there newly born baby dragons and already went home. Tigereye was the last one left in the cave.Since she was the last one there she climbed up and sat alongside the big beautiful blue egg that she liked. She then started to hum alittle song to the big beautiful egg. Hoping that m the dragon inside it might hear her song and would start to hatch from its egg. She sat there for a very long time an was starting to think that she wasn’t going to get a dragon. She was getting discouraged. Every now an then there would be a child that wouldn’t get picked by a dragon. These are children that don’t get any powers or can’t shift into any kind of animal. But Tigereye can shift so she should get a dragon right. She thought to herself. Tigereye was sitting there waiting for it to hatch it was getting very late and it was about time for them to leaving. The Queen walked over to her an signed then reached her head out. Tigereye then took her mothers hand. The Queen then said come come my child it is time for us to be heading home. Tigereye looked up at her mom and said but mom I didn’t get my dragon yet. What if he or she hatches and I am not here waiting for it. It would be lonely without me and think I left it behind. Queen Catalina looked down at her little girl and said to her there will be another day my child I promise. Just as they were going to walking out of the cave. The moon light shined into the cave onto the big beautiful blue egg. Tigereye then heard a very small voice that had started to talk to her. The voice said please please don’t leave without me don’t you want me. I would love to hear some more of your song. Her mother couldn’t hear the small voice but she did hear cracking.She then turned her head to look. The big beautiful blue egg that was up on the ledge was now cracked open and the baby dragon from with in that egg was now climbing out of it behind them. He was even more beautiful then what his egg was. He was dark blue on his back with white diamond sharps starting at the back of his head going all the way down to the tip of his tail. His belly was a light blue and his eyes were as blue as the blue healing stone that he had in his mouth. He walked up to her with the beautiful ice blue stone in his mouth and then placed it into her hand. Queen Catalina was in shock. She was surprised that the egg even hatched. An even more surprised that the new baby dragon had picked her little girl. Tigereye was special an she already knew that but to had be chosen by this dragon. Meant she was the chosen one. Tigereye gave the dragon a great big hug than said I knew you were going to pick me. Are you ready to come home with us. He shook his head the said oh yes my little princess. She then giggled. The queen looked at Tigereye asked are you two ready to go home now. You two are going to have a big day tomorrow. Tigereye then took her mother’s hand and said yes mom we are ready. The Queen then knew for sure that Tigereye would be the next one to become queen of there people. Once she was old enough to take her place. Then the queen took her little girl and her new baby dragon home. she walked them to there room an then placed them into bed for the night. she kissed them both goodnight the left the room.. As Tigereye slept her dragon slept alongside her. The queen took Tigereye’s stone with her to her room so that she could make a to necklace for Tigereye to wear. after the queens was done she brushed her hair an want to bed with the king. Then dragons laying nearby them in case they were to ever need them. As the people slept quietly in their beds the elder dragons would keep watch over the village. Keeping an eye out for any trouble that would come about. There main goals was to make sure the village was safe at all times. That night the Queen was awoken by a bad dream. Her dragon noticed an looked up at her then asked what’s wrong my queen. She then told him that she had a very bad dream. Then told him that in about five years or so there would be a great evil that would be coming to the village and that the village would get destroyed. If they didn’t do something about it right away there would be no hope. The Queen was so scared for her people and her family. She could sleep. So what else could she do? She walked around the castle going from room to room checking on her children. Making sure they were all ok and still sleep. She then went back to her room and woke up her husband the King. So could try him about her dream to. She shook him to wake him up then said wake up my love I had a vision dream that need to tell you about right know. Still half asleep he sat up an wiped his sleep eyes and then says ok my love I’m awake what is it. She then told him about her dream and the evil man that was in her dream. She seemed to be very upset and the King could see this. After she was done telling him everything about the dream. He then took her hand in his an said everything is going to be ok I promise you this my love. We will make some changes to prepare the village and it people better for if or when this may happens. I will start on everything first thing in the morning. I promise. But for right now let’s get some sleep my love. Then the King and Queen went back to bed. The Queens dragon was worried about her. So he stayed up an real close to her throughout the night. They decided that they were going to start training some of the villagers first thing. So that they would be better prepared when the time comes for them to fight this great evil that the queen had dreamed about. They would teach them anything that could help them protect themselves. The next morning the queen took care of the children walking from room to room getting the kids up and getting them dressed. When the queen had gotten to Tigereye’s room. Tigereye was still asleep with her dragon lying beside her and she had her arms wrapped around him holding him tight to her as she slept. When the queen woke her up she wrapped her arms around Tigereye and gave her a great big hug. She then put Tigereye’s healing stone necklace around her neck. The stone started glowing very bright. The stone was also making Tigereye’s eyes glow it was very beautiful. All of the children ran down the stairs of the castle and to the table in the great hall to eat their breakfast. The queen gave the children there breakfast then sent Cal and Sabean out with their father to make plans up for building the new training grounds for them to train in. An new guard post for the dragons to perch up upon. That way they could watch over the village and villagers little better. Tigereye stayed inside with her mother to her clean up and take care of her twin sisters. The Emperor was already on his way to Luna Sarkany the country that he had heard so much about. He could wait to get there. But the sea wasn’t so kind to him nor to his ships. The sea was throwing his ships around and bashing them up on rocks. It was taken him longer to get the country then what he thought it would. On top of that he lost many troops and a lot of ships were claimed by the raging sea and it storms. It took him three years for his ship’s to reach the countries shore lines. But it so so worth it. Then sent men to the Oceans Edge and had them destroy all the villages on the shore line. He even had the main village destroyed. Oceans Edge Villa. What was once a nice an peaceful village was no more. It was all gone. Once he was on the shore he sent a note back to his land telling his head lieutenant of his troops that he needed more men to come to his aid at once. Then he had his men set up his a base camps. Then from the ashes of the small village’s and Oceans Edge Villa he started building his own city’s and mines to mine the gem stones from the land. The once villagers of the Oceans Edge was all now his slaves. The villagers feared him. He did unbelievable to the men's wives in order to make the men work for them. If the men were to fought back in any way. He would have their family’s killed starting with the villagers children. He had no use for the children. Under the age of ten years old. In the meantime five years had done gone by. The emperor’s new troops were just showing up at the countries shores. They were getting set up in the emperor’s new city. Mean while up in the middle of the mountains. Queen Catalina and her people had been preparing themselves for when the emperor did decide to show up at their village. The five years had already done gone by. Queen Catalinawas starting to wondered if their training had all been for nothing. Did she miss read her own dream was she wrong? Everyone had trained very hard for the last five years while waiting for the great evil to show up in there village. But out of everyone Tigereye had been training the hardest and not because she had to. But because she wanted to do so. She was a very driven child. She wanted to be as strong as she possibly could be. she an her dragon diamondback would train every single day know matter what with her guards. All of them loved to do their training together. Tigereye would fight with a bow staff it had some very unique carves on it. She loved fighting with it. Her father had it made special for her. It would allow her to keep the enemy from being able to reach her when she fought them. The all of the guards fought with weapons of their own choice. Tigereye practiced with her powers alot. When she was with her mother. The only powers she seem to have so far was power over fire and over vines. Which allowed her to manipulate the vines to wrap around her enemy. So she could fight back or be able to get away. So she had both of an offence and defensive powers to be able to protect everyone around her. She was still having a hard time with controlling her vine powers. Two more years had want by and still hadn’t been no sign of the evil emperor coming to there village. Only because he had not yet discovered that there was a village up in the mountains. Because of so many years pass by the queen had thought her dream with going to come true. So she told her people that they no longer had to train unless they wanted to do so. Tigereye was now ten years old. She never stopped her training. She was doing pretty well with her fire powers. She could control the flames make them do whatever them to. She had also learned that she could use her bow staff to reflect power blasts. She was still having a hard time with her vine powers she had no control of them. The queen was so pride of her. Bane and Snakeyes were two of the guards that was assigned to Tigereye to watch over her and train with her at all times. They were two years older than her. They were twelve years old. They weren’t just her guards but also her friends. Bane had real short white hair and green eyes. His skin was a tan color and he had a strong built body. Snakeyes was very tall he had long hair that was dark brown. He had yellow snake like eyes and tan skin. They wasn’t just her guards they were also her friends as while. She trusted them. The queen didn’t know that the evil was closing in on them. An that the emperor’s had sent out some scouts to find out more about the other villages in the country. The queen thought that they were all safe from the evil emperor. But the scouts soon reported back to him with a report of a beautiful castle. That was up in the mountains and that there was also a big village there. The emperor was curious an wanted to see the castle it for himself. He could believe that they had missed such a big village and was in an outrage. He wanted to know what kind of people that the shifters were. If they were as powerful as his scouts had reported backed to him to be. In the meantime it was time for all of the dragons to go into their four year deep hibernation. They hibernate every thirty years. All of the dragons from their village would go into hibernation for four years. This would leave them vulnerable. Now there were other types of dragons that don’t hibernate. There in a village that was twenty or so miles west from them. There dragons are all black and only men known as dragon knights rode them. It's has been eight years since the queen’s dream and the dragons have been in their deep hibernation buried in the cave for three years now. Tigereye and her friends never stopped their training. She was now thirteen years old and she missed her dragon partner very badly. She couldn’t wait for her be too able to go in the cave and wake him up. One week after her birthday the emperor showed up in their village with his scouts an was having a looking around. He spent the whole day there before going back to their camp for the night. The evil emperor was not happy not happy at all. It made him mad just thinking about the villagers and the powers that they had. He couldn’t believe that there were people with powers like that living up in the mountains right under his nose the whole time. The emperor loved the queen’s castle. He wanted the queen’s castle for his self. He needed the find a way to get it.So the emperor then told one of his most trusted men. I want you to go back to go back to my city by the ocean and get as many of my troops together as can an get them here. I wanted them there right now!!!! I have to make that castle mine. I am going to destroy every last one of these people if I have to. They are way to powerful so I have to destroy them before they even think about trying to destroy everything I have built. This country will be mine I will be sure of that. I will stop me. The next morning the emperor rode his horse into the village an asked to speak with King Caro and Queen Catalina. He introduced himself as Emperor Rulla and I am the new ruler of this country now. I have taken over all of the shore line village’s and have built my big city by the ocean. I am a great ruler and anyone that come against me dies.So I am giving all of you the chance to join me. I will let you and your family’s live. or I will burn your village to the ground and take what I want. Then slather everyone that gets in my way. Tigereye sitting beside her mother told her “No mother don’t do it”. she could get the since that he was lying. She could see the evil aura that surrounded Emperor Rulla. The queen then asked him if we go with you. Would you spare all of my people? He then said yes. He was lying though his teeth.The queen had never came across anyone like him before she didn’t trusted him. She spook with her husband the King Caro an then with the people. They all agreed too it. That it would be better than going to war and the village being destroyed. Plus all but a few of the villagers had stopped their training and had not trained for over a year or so. They wouldn’t to keep the peace. At less that is what they was thinking. So she then told Emperor Rulla they would leave with him in the morning and he could have the castle. Emperor Rulla and his men want back to their camp. They were wait for everyone to go to sleep. Tigereye though they were making a big mistake. She could since danger all around.She kept having a bad feeling about it. Tigereye said to her mother mom I don’t trust him I am having a very bad feeling about this deal that you have made with him. I wish diamondback and the other dragons were here to help us with this. I sure do miss them. Queen Catalina looked at her then said I miss them to my child. If anything were at all to happen you know what it is you need to do. Find your brother and sisters go get with the others and find a safe place. ok.Then stay there and just know that your father and I love you all very much. The night was setting in. The moon was very bright in the sky. Tigereye and her mother watched the moon as it rose into the sky together. After that the queen looked at her an said it’s time for bed my child. She then says “Goodnight my love” as she put her in the bed then pulls her covers up over her.
