The final round of the second bracket is about to finish and the four od us are already here in the waiting lobby waiting for Sky Reaper and Frolly to finish their match. I am inside this room with the other finalists that will enter the final round, such as Anonymous, senZ, Avenger7 and me, warfreak 101, soon Sky Reaper will join us soon as the game is with his favor and they are on the final lap of the race, with a great lead.

Earlier, I felt bad when I saw Anonymous ignored me and for some reason the staffs who are watching us forbid us to use our phones to avoid any anomalies, so I don’t have any way to kill my time for waiting except for thinking about him, not in any romantic way of thinking, and just watch other matches.

Watching my enemies compete is enjoyable too, but with Anonymous with me in the room, I feel so overwhelmed, with his intimidating looks even I know that I am stronger than him physically, but for some reason I feel like inferior to him especially from getting that card. Especially when I saw his performance in earlier rounds greatly beating my feats, worthy of being called the top player in this bracket of the competition.

I don’t know but I need to think of something more than being insecure with that arrogant fool. We are no in a fighting match where I can really feel dominant in the whole competition and I can confidently say that I will be the champion of the match.

The announcers are usually enthusiastic covering their match and even Frolly is miserably defeated they can still made it look okay, for her I mean. I pity her for losing the chance of winning the card and instead of taking Sky Reaper here in the waiting room with us, the staff told us to follow them outside and they will deliver guide us towards the center stage. Of course, we followed them without making any ruckus.

Moments later once we are near at the center stage the crowd started to go wild again, cheering for their idols and the five of us has separated fan base already and I am still amazed on how people quickly have taken a liking to us, but we can say that after this match they will probably forget about us, unless if we are a streamer of some platform, because their followers will probably recognize them, in those big monitors up above where they are currently watching us.

For the moment the Cal and Allan are introducing us to the crowd as the Final 5 that will enter their mystery game as their final round for this competition. The announced our name one by one and when our name was called each of our fandom is cheering for us very hard which makes me happy for the very least for myself and them.

“Everyone! Our five finalists! Soon we will find out who really deserves that card! I’ll let you in a little secret!” he said and the crowd shushed for the first time because as curious as us they are eager to hear what the announcers will say about the secret that he just told us.

“Ohh, Cal,” said Allan. “This might be a game changer for the final round,” he said and now I am more eager to hear that secret that he will tell us.

“Yes this will be a game changer for our finalists,” he said and drumrolls played in the background. “The GRX 9090 is the peak of graphics technology and it is so advanced that our current resources and tech cannot produce more of it,” he added and I have a little bit of idea what he wants to tell us. “The four that we have today and the reason why we prepared this competition for all of you, it is because these cards is just the only four out of ten that existed in the whole world, our owners are just very lucky to have connections with various people to get their hands on these cards,” he said and my nervousness faded away inside me because I don’t have other chances to get this card if I lose this match. Its like my life depends on this match that quick.

The crowd exclaimed and I will show my utmost abilities on that game that they will choose for us to battle. I’m sure that they feel the same way to and they will also give their best to defeat the other four. What I am really concerned is that Anonymous looks so relaxed as if he was sure to get his hands on that card.

“We at the PCGG, believes in the saying the saying that everyday is your lucky day because we have developed a new game just for this round,” then the title of the game that I have never seen before was posted on the big screens above.

I don’t know what the game is because I have never seen it before, thank you captain obvious, they said that they developed this game and considering how big is this company, I have high expectations with this game. Based on the font of the title and the vibes it gives off, I can surely tell that this is a horror game. No doubt about that. This is a horror game and I don’t why they chose this genre to decide our fates to that card.

Now we have no reason to just play around in this competition because even the reason that the others will just wait for the producers to mass produce the card, is invalidated. I can fell the amount of regret that the other players are feeling right now and for real I pity them.

Because their only chance at getting that card is now gone, and they will wait for how many decades just to play the games that require that card and I will make sure that I win this competition. No matter what happen. I don’t what the masterminds behind this competition intends to do with us, but I’ll play along with it if it is the only way to win that card.

“This is the PCGG original game called The Judgement Day, where you play as a 5-man team to escape the church,” Allan said and Sky Reaper besides me raised his hands.

“And how will you choose to all of us if we win this game?” he asked Allan.

“That’s the exciting part,” Cal said. “The other way to win the game is be the only one to left alive in the round if ever all of you are kind hearted the five of you will play other game to fight for,” he said. “But be reminded that this card is your only chance to have your hands on this precious loot,” he said to us putting pressure to our backs.

So the logical thing to do is run away from the killer and hope that my teammates will be killed by the monster in the game and wait until we are the only one left.

“It’s escape or to hide, but remember if you escape the others can to,” he added confirming my speculations. I am sure that all of them has the same thing in minds.

“Take note the monster will get more aggressive as time passes by and we are proud to say that the AI program of this monster will be intelligent enough than you might think and we will not spoil to you what can it do, it’s for you to find out,” he said and we are scared right now to be honest because we don’t know what does the AI inside that game can do.

In contrary to their motto, I don’t believe in such lucks when it comes to gaming, because the ones who has the most well observation skills in this game will probably win the round. The behavior of the AI, the mechanics of the game, and the map. They let us play this game this early for a reason and that’s to test our skills.

The one who exploits those factors first will have the most chance to win the game and I think, I can do that, I just need a keen eye and let my brain do the work. I don’t want them to get ahead of me since this is the final round and there should be only one standing on that victory stage. That will be me and I will make sure of it.

After their explanation of the game, they let us watch the trailer of the game that will give us some idea how to play it and also to excite their future customers to buy the game. They will use us to reveal the full gameplay of their coop mode and this must be a custom match, what I mean is they customized the codes of this game mode because there’s no way that they will allow players to win with only one surviving, that will promote toxicity inside the game and that will put out the intensity and the fun of the game. Many players will just leave it after playing for one week or less and it will have a less ratings from its buyers.

“To your seats gamers!” Allan said to us and the employees standing behind us told us to go to our rigs and start the game because they are finished transferring the game and we are ready to open it. “Now, who will be the last one standing,” he said and the crowd went wild, after we watched the trailer.

We are really spawning inside a church and the monsters are ghost demons of a nun and priests and something related to the church. I don’t know but its a trend using these settings in horror genre.

We sit on our chair as the game loads.

The final round starts.
