‎LEVIATHAN'S POV ‎ ‎“Where is Porsha? Why isn't she here yet?” I asked Matilda for the umpteenth time as I gazed upon the entrance to the celebration hall. My blood bubbling with rage. How dare Porsha do something like this, my instructions were simple, be here at exactly 7 pm, and yet she's 10 minutes late. ‎“Patience son, your darling Porsha would be here in a bit. I think she is fixing up herself for the occasion” Mom Matilda assured with a tedious frown, her expression concerning, I could easily see that she was just trying to calm my nerves but she had no idea whether or not Porsha will come here. ‎“Did you give her my message?" I doubted, my eyes peeled on her. ‎“Of course son. I even begged her to be here 10 minutes earlier. However I didn't expect this from her, she did say at the time, she wasn't in the mood for any sort of celebration but even so I expected her to be respectful enough to put her own personal feelings aside and honor your invitation” Matilda explained in a whisper her tone laced with disappointment. ‎I clinged my fist, my eyes seething with rage. ‎“Mother send word to Porsha, tell her to come here immediately. She is to run down here even if she is naked, and if she refuses, drag her here” I commanded, my body trembling with rage. I refused to be ridiculed in this way. Porsha was my wife and she was obligated to do her wifely duties. ‎“Right away your highness” Matilda responded with a straight face, as she turned to leave but just then the voice of the announcer echoed across the room. ‎“Beware the emperor's newest queen, her royal majesty queen Porsha of Ember nest is entering the room” He said and I praised, atleast for once Porsha swallowed that gigantic ego of hers and decided to do the right thing. Or so I thought but how wrong I was. ‎ ‎Porsha stepped into the room wearing a glittering corset dress, with her gloves and a matching fascinator. ‎Her hair was made into one long braid, and as always she looked breathtaking. The problem was it wasn't the dress I had made for her, and worse, the dress was in a horrifying shade of blue, my most hated color. ‎My blood boiling with anger. ‎Porsha knew exactly what she was doing, not only did she keep me waiting, she equally decided to humiliate me infront of all my invitees. To a fire dragon like myself, ice dragons were our natural born enemies. ‎So for her to wear blue meant she was challenging my claim to the throne. She had chosen her side and it wasn't by my side. ‎ ‎“Did you know about this mom?” I asked Matilda in a whisper as I clenched my jawbone. ‎“Of course not son. I had specifically begged queen Porsha to wear that outfit, and she assured me she would. If I were aware she would cast your gift to the side like this. I would have never had given it to her in the first place” Matilda informed, her eyes equally widened as she gazed upon Porsha's full view. ‎My chest felt like it was about to explode not from admiration but from anger, as I fixated on Porsha, who had a carefree smile on her face as she greeted mom and the other guests in the hall. ‎She walked towards me, bowing her head as a show of fake respect. ‎“Greetings Emperor” ‎“Greeting Queen. You look stunning” I said through gritting teeth in a pathetic attempt at breaking the tension that now roamed the hall. ‎“A seat for my beautiful wife” I offered, casually tapping the spot next to me on my gigantic lavish throne. ‎“Thank you your majesty” She said still with her smile, as she quietly took the seat. ‎“The celebrations may now commence” I commanded and in a twinkle of an eye a group of dancers strided in to perform a traditional Vikland dance. ‎ ‎As the dance commenced, I looked at Porsha hoping to see the smallest glimpse of remorse but to my surprise, there were none, infact she was sipping on a glass of wine while watching the dance. ‎Bile rose in the back of my throat as I stared at her, not because I was mad at the fact that she was happy but because she thought it was fun to ridicule me. ‎“Are you enjoying the party Queen?” I asked in a bit to taunt her, knowing fully well she wasn't going to give an answer, but instead what she did surprised me. ‎“Yes emperor, the dance is lovely” She said softly, her voice like melted butter in eardrums. She was indeed shameless at her evil endeavours, and knew exactly how to make fun of me, but two could play that game and I wasn't ready to lose to her. ‎“Queen Porsha aren't you going to ask if I am enjoying the party?” I asked with a straight face. Her eyes immediately drawn to my face, “I am not enjoying the dance at all Porsha” ‎“That is to be expected, your highness . After all you don't understand what the lyrics say” She said nonchalantly as she continued her watching. ‎“You misunderstand me Porsha. It's not about the lyrics, it's about you” I declared and once more her attention was drawn to me. ‎“Me? What did I do your highness?” She doubted with a frown, pretending to be oblivious to her crime. ‎“Is that even a question? one, you came late for this event. And two, you're wearing another dress other than the one I gave you, in a color I hate” I started my voice stern. ‎“About that your highness. I apologize for my lateness I was wrongly informed of the time. And about the dress it wasn't suitable to be worn...” She said but before she could finish I interrupted in anger, her words were a different insult to me. ‎“Are you in anyway suggesting, that the dress I gifted you is trash” I doubted, clenching my jawbone ‎“Those are your words, not mine your highness” She said, her tone defiant. ‎“Wow! I see you are not in the least bit sorry for what you did. So I guess I have to demand your remorse then" I informed and a confused frown creeped to her face. ‎She opened her mouth to speak but before her words could fall, I interrupted once more. ‎“Stop the music" I commanded with a raise of the hand and the room immediately turned dead silent. ‎“I heard my new wife queen Porsha has an amazing voice and I will love for you all to witness one of her many talents” I informed, a sick smirk on my face as I pulled her to the middle of the room, leaving her there and returning to my sit. ‎Porsha stared at me, her eyes turning red with rage. I smiled at her, telling myself that I finally got her where I wanted. Cornered in the middle of nowhere. I heard Porsha might be good at a lot of things but singing was never her strong suit so that was where I came in. I was going to use her weakness to discredit her infront of everyone. ‎Porsha looked at me with red eyes, as she clenched her jawbone, if looks could kill I would have been dead. I immediately chuckled, gesturing for her to begin her singing. ‎”I heard there was a secret cord.... that David played and it pleased the Lord.... but you...” She began singing, but to my surprise her voice wasn't hideous, it was actually quite melodious. ‎I froze for a moment as her angelic voice boomed across the room, but then she suddenly came to an abrupt halt. ‎Her eyes narrowed at me and without a moment of hesitation, she grabbed a bow and arrow, pointing it directly at my head. ‎“Porsha, my child. What are you doing?" Mother Helen questioned as she rose to her feet in panic, and everyone did the exact same thing, their faces filled with terror. ‎“Stay back mother” Porsha commanded her gaze never leaving me, “No one should move an inch” ‎My eyes lock onto Porsha’s. The hate in her eyes were unrivaled. She was going to kill me but I refused to be moved. She wasn't woman enough to make the mighty Leviathan quaver in fear. ‎“Got you were I want you” She said with a smirk, as she released the arrow in my direction. ‎“Queen Porsha” The entire hall screamed and my heart skipped a beat. ‎Was my existence really going to be erased by a mare woman? ‎####################### ‎
