Esther pressed the numbers. One-four-three. She looked towards Norman before she pressed the final number. “Do you think I could ever forget?” Facing the safe, she swung open the door and placed the manila folder on top of various other folders, piles of paper and different types of boxes. There were also several corked bottles on the floor of the safe. She swung the door shut, locking it before facing Norman. “I will never forget.” She strode towards him. “Never forgive.” Norman crossed the room, stepping around the desk to stop in front of her. “There are none left to forgive.
