I felt like I was in a bubble suddenly. Jaime is pregnant. I’m going to be a father.
“Kevin, are you ok?” I heard Jaime say.
I came out of my bubble and said “Yeah, everything just hit me at once.” I said to her.
I got off the couch and pulled her into a hug. “I am happy, but I’m also scared. It's like I got every emotion right now.” I told her.
“I understand, I just went through that in that bathroom.” Jaime said while holding on to me.
I pulled away to look down at Jaime’s face. I gently cupped it in my hand and said “A baby, we are having a baby.”
Jaime nodded her head. I saw tears starting to form in her eyes.
“Don’t cry, I am so happy you are going to have my baby.” I told her.
“I’m not sad, these are tears of joy.” Jaime said.
