I was in my office holding the framed ultrasound photo of my child with Jaime. Jaime surprised me by having the ultrasound photo framed, so I could have it sit on my desk at work. I can’t believe this little blob I am looking at is actually going to be mine.
“You look like I did.” I heard a voice say to me.
I looked up to see Stephen standing in my doorway.
I put the photo frame back on my desk, “Mr Case, I didn’t hear you, come on in.” I said to him.
“Kevin, it’s Stephen. It’s ok. I was in a daze the moment Laura told me she was expecting Evan.” Stephen said to me as he sat down at my desk.
“May I?” I said as he picked up the ultrasound. I nodded my head yes to him and he looked down at it.
