I was at the office with my father. Basically I’m learning the day to day stuff of a CEO.
“Can I ask you a question Dad?” I ask him.
“Of course.” He answered me.
“When you and mom decided to move here, and you decided to make this a home branch instead of New York, was it hard?” I asked him.
My dad blew out a breath and said “That’s a complicated answer. There are things about that, you kids don’t know.”
“Don’t know?” I was confused.
“Your grandparents didn’t like that I married beneath me let’s just say and leave it at that.” My dad stated.
It was clear this was a subject he did not want to talk about.
“Why are you asking me this?” He asked.
