Yesterday was interesting. Today however is nothing but nerves and emotions. It was mom’s boutique, The Makeover Bar’s grand opening.
Dad took the day off of work so he could be there to support mom. We all were expected to show up for the events they had planned today.
“What if no one shows up and there are no customers?” I heard my mom ask my dad.
“Every business has risks, but I’m pretty sure you have customers today baby. There isn’t a boutique like this. Stop worrying.” My dad said to my mom.
My dad spotted me and excused himself from my mom and motioned for me to follow him.
“Hey, I ordered your mom flowers for today, only I can’t get to the florist. Can you please go and get them?” My dad asked me.
“Why didn’t you just have them delivered?” I asked him.
