Cole's P.O.V

After last night's events Max was restless I woke up early and decided to go for a run as I left the pack house Ava was already up and on the training field with her dad, she looked like she was holding back and I could see the frustration in her eyes. “Cole come and join us” her dad shouted to me, I felt uncomfortable because just seeing Ava again brought back the feelings from last night “I was going to let max go for a run” I said to Adrien, his eyes concentrated on me and he must of realised that my wolf needed a run away from Ava because if I let him out around her now I wouldn't be able to control him “Okay well come back here once you have had your run” he said smiling at me.  

I ran to the border and shifted Max howled in excitement I let him take control as we ran around the borders, feeling the dirt push from underneath my heavy paws always gave me such satisfaction, I ran for half an hour before shifting back and making my way to Ava and Adrien. “Cole” her voice squealed slightly a big smile beaming on her face, she ran towards me and threw herself at me wrapping her arms around my neck and I felt like I was back to square one, I am going to need a cold shower this time. Adrien walked back out of the house with three bottles of water, Ava jumped down as he came back to the training field, he threw the bottles to both of us and Ava grabbed her's drinking it in one gulp.  

“Tonight's the blood bond merge, I need you both dressed and ready on the stage for seven thirty, don't worry we will talk you both through the ceremony. Although there is something I need to tell you both, once the ceremony is over your wolf and Lycan will be able to communicate through mind link making your current situation harder” Adrien didn't look uncomfortable with the conversation but I certainly did. “Three more days” Max said in my head lust flooding through my body for Ava and I had no choice but to excuse myself.

I ran to my bathroom and switched on the shower just the cold water, I climbed into the shower making sure I stood under the cold water for a few minutes trying to calm my wolf but Max was still restless, I could still smell her sweet scent all over me. I had to find another way to release all this frustration, but before I could I heard my bedroom door open. Her scent invaded my nostrils and I left the shower quickly wrapping a towel around my waist I checked the bathroom door and it was locked thank god. “Cole are you okay” she said, I could hear the frustration in her voice “Yeah I am just finding it too hard to control myself around you right now” I said through gritted teeth.

“What if I helped you release some of the tension” she said, I could smell her arousal and it was getting damn near impossible to keep the door between us locked. I rested my head on the door and my hands either side of the frame trying to stop myself “I can't it's not safe for you here at the moment Max is trying to take control, he wants you” I heard a low growl from the other side of the door “I can feel it and it's making sky go crazy” she said excitement in her voice. I'v never wanted someone as much as I want her right now, but I've got to stay calm and in this bathroom before Max takes over. “Ava I need you to go to your room and lock your door now! Before he gets the better of me” but there was no noise from outside the bathroom door.

I thought she had left as I couldn't hear anything from outside the bathroom, I left the room to be caught off guard, Ava was lay down on my bed her eyes where full of pure ruthless lust, she was only wearing her underwear “I need you now Cole I can't stop myself any more” her voice was raspy, I knew we couldn't have s*x but I needed to help her, pouncing at her wrapping my hand around the back of her neck and kissing her deep she started pulling at my towel. Our fathers came onto the stage and stood between us thankfully before it got to much for us both. “Good evening dark wood pack and black moon pack, we are gathered here tonight to merge the packs with a blood bond with your future Alpha and Luna, you may have noticed we have been greeted with the presence of the fey people, they too will be linked with Ava's blood to us all and this is the beginning of a strong alliance” Adrien spoke loudly and clear to all that had gathered, he stood with a large chalice pictures of wolfs around the sides and a gold trim around its rim at the top but there was a blue swirl around the stem and base.

He came to me first with a small golden dagger “Do you Future Alpha Cole accept these packs to merge with your own before all that stand present” he asked, before whispering what I needed to say “I accept you all open heartedly” I said taking the dagger from Adrien, he looked to my hand, I sliced a small cut into my hand allowing my blood to flow into the chalice until my hand healed. He then passed the chalice to my dad “Do you Future Luna Ava accept these packs to merge with your own before all that stand present?” he asked passing her a blue dagger, following my lead “I accept you all open heartedly” she said cutting her hand and allowing her blood to flow into the chalice her Auntie Emilia walked onto the stage she put something into the chalice and then topped it up with red wine “I Emilia Queen of the fey accept both Alpha Cole and Luna Ava as my allies with future packs to come” After she said this she took a sip from the cup passing it back to Ava who took a sip and then to me and I sipped the sludge like liquid that was warm and spicy in my throat as I swallowed it, Our fathers also sipped from the chalice.

I felt an overwhelming pain in my head as I felt walls breaking and rebuilding again into my head, I looked to Ava and she smiled at me “Hi Max it's Sky I love and accept you as my mate” I looked at Ava and Max spoke back to her “Hello Sky and Isla I love you and accept you both as my mate” he said back to them, I then understood why it would make this harder on us. Lana mind linked me at that moment “So this is what you all go crazy for” she laughed, I looked around the front of the stage and fount her smiling at both me and Ava. “Its a bond between us all now “ Ava said smiling at me and then at Lana. Just like that we were all unified and the ceremony was over.  

It was a very tiring experience but we all ate together in the pack house even though some had to sit in the garden and others in the living room and kitchen. Several members from each pack came over to introduce themselves. I sat next to Ava and I felt her hand stroke my leg under the table “I can't wait to continue what we started earlier” she purred through the mind link, I bit the bottom of my lip trying to keep control of max “God help you when Max gets to take you, he's going to punish you for teasing him you do realise that” I felt her grip my leg tightly before stroking up my thigh “Promises, promises” she said smiling at me and biting her lip, we both heard someone clearing there throat “Hi Luna Ava I'm Aimee, Alpha's erm friend” she said, smiling sweetly at Ava but Ava saw through her “Hi Aimee, I can see you want more than friendship with Alpha here but unfortunately for you he's mine now” Ava said with a sweet smile, Aimee looked angry and stomped off.

After we all finished our meal, each members of the packs excused themselves one after the other shaking my hand and bowing to Ava they walked out of our pack house. Ava's P.O.V

My birthday was just a day away and the mate bond was unbearable right now, I couldn't think straight all I could think about was him, his body and his touch. The mind link had been fun to use last night but I needed him. I decided to have a cold shower and then throw myself into training, the strong smell of pancakes reached my nostrils and my stomach growled making me know I needed the food. I walked downstairs in my work out clothes Cole was already sat at the table smiling at me making a light pink blush reach my cheeks, I could easily jump him right where he sat. I grabbed some pancakes and syrup and sat down next to him.

“Good morning did you sleep well last night” he asked a mischievous smirk lacing those lips I so wanted to bite “it was eventful” I whispered winking at him. I tucked into my pancakes feeling his gaze on my face “You've lost some syrup right there” he said wiping the syrup with his finger he licked it off keeping eye contact “yummy” he said and I could feel a throbbing between my legs. I finished up my breakfast and went for my run around the border even though I could feel him prowling behind me. I slowed down to let him catch up slightly before picking up the pace again and leaving him behind “Why are you teasing each other so much do you understand how much I need to get at Max right now” Sky said annoyed but before I could answer Isla spoke “Imagine how much more intense our birthday will be with all this s****l tension Sky relax and enjoy it”  

I couldn't help but smile loosing myself in there conversation, I didn't realise Cole had caught up with us, I felt his hand wrap around my waist and it made my breath hitch then he kissed the back of my neck making my body tremble and goosebumps rise all over my skin. I turned to face him and I could see Max trying to surface “One more day and I'm going to smack that ass of yours and make you beg for it” he said looking deep into my eyes. I wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed his jawline and down his neck a deep low growl escaped his lips “we will see who's begging who” Sky said to Max I let go of him turning round and running fast to the end of the border, this horny Lycan of mine is certainly changing me into something else.

I had to get away from him before I lost control of Sky, my mom called out to me so I walked to the front of the pack house “Can we talk” she said, with an unreadable expression on her face “yeah of course” I said to my mom, we walked into the living room and I could sense the pack house was empty “I can see you and Cole are fighting with your inner beasts” she said and I felt my cheeks began to blaze a deep shade of red, had we made it that obvious to everyone else “ Don't worry it's normal, anyway It's your birthday tomorrow and although me and your dad want to spend the day with you I can see you need time to yourselves” she said with a slight sigh.

“We have got a lodge just past the clearing that is ready for you both, but please stay safe and if there is any trouble you mind link straight away” she said, I could see the concern in her eyes so I nodded at her. I spent the whole of the day trying to fill it with training, I trained with both the wolfs and fey and seeing the difference in there tactics were interesting, seeing knocking Aimee on her ass was certainly the highlight of my day but I still couldn't get my birthday events out of my head. It was five in the afternoon so I went in for a shower, the smell of my dad's famous lasagne filled the pack house throwing on some shorts and a baggy crop top t shirt I ran to the kitchen. I sat at the dining table and my dad sat in front of me “me and your mom have decided to give you an early birthday present” he said smiling like a Cheshire cat.

He gave me a small rectangle box it had weight inside, my small smile turned to a big grin at them both before ripping off the shimmering wrapping paper, It was a small dagger the handle of the dagger was gold with ice cold blue sapphires “It's to represent both your fey and Lycan” dad said “Its beautiful thank you” I said hugging them both tightly “we don't know what the coming years will hold for you petal but we want you to know were so proud of you” my mom said she was acting strange lately, but her words filled my eyes with tears. I looked at them both and they where indeed bursting with pride. That evening we had a three course meal just the three of us, enjoying each others company and laughing about past times, it truly was a perfect night.

I went to bed that night feeling happy safe and content “Sky, Isla what ever happens tomorrow I love you both” I said before nodding off. I woke in the night feeling pain all over. my skin felt on fire and my sight was blurred, my dad and Cole rushed into my room “She's shifting” mom said lowly “get her to the clearing quickly” dad said to Cole, I felt my body being lifted from my bed a wave of electricity surging through me now, easing the pain ever so slightly. We was at the clearing in minutes, he placed me on the cold damp grass as I screamed out in pain “It's okay relax” Isla said calmly another wave of pain took over me my screams sounding more like growls, then the pain hit my head one more intense wave of pain and it was over.  

I breathed deeply and took in my surroundings everything was so clear it was the middle of the night but I could see through the darkness easily, I could see the bright pink lilies that danced on the top of the shimmering water far ahead of me. My dad run behind a tree with a huge smile on his face before returning as a big black and blue Lycan “Come on lets go for a run” his Lycan Leon said excitedly nudging me and running around me in circles. I looked down and saw my soft white fur with flecks of blue showing through it, I pushed my paws deep into the grass feeling the dirt beneath, both sky and Isla had stayed with me. 

Excitement took over me as I chased after my dad running so fast along side him I was larger than he was and I loved this feeling. I run in front of my dad stopping abruptly and pouncing onto him pinning him to the ground before running off in front again. We spent an hour running round and being silly whilst my mom and Cole stood laughing at us both, best birthday ever was all I could think, “best birthday so far” Sky said.

We both changed back and Cole brought us both a snack and a bottle of water each, “you need a bath now” my mom said laughing and ruffling my hair making me laugh loudly “Sky, Isla your both still here” I said in my head Sky howled and Isla giggled “we are one now” Isla and Sky said in unison. “You are truly amazing” Cole said to me full of pride, my mom and dad both smiled and agreed with my amazing mate. It was early hours of the morning by now and I felt worn out from my shift and run “I'm going for a bath and some rest” I said, they all nodded and left me be.

Reaching my room I ran a nice hot bath, stepping into my big tub I let the warm water relax my tense and sore muscles, it felt amazing and I now felt like a new shiny penny. I climbed into bed and sleep took over me. I was stood in the clearing with the same woman that had once introduced me to Sky “Hello Ava Happy Birthday” she said with a huge smile on her face, I stepped closer to her “Thank you” I said, “I don't know if you have figured it out yet Ava but I'm the moon goddess my name is Celeste, something is coming soon for you, I need you to be prepared, two lovers will be lost and mistakes are going to be made. You need to protect who is yet to come he will change everything and will unite us all” she said, but before I could ask what she meant I heard voices that pulled me out of the dream.

I was woke up by my mom, dad, Cole and Lana all singing happy birthday to me, my mom held onto a large chocolate cake it smelt amazing, I sat up laughing and smiling. I blew out the candles before my eyes rolled back, I was no longer in my room I was in a dark room with a man I had never seen before his frame was big, his hair was black and his eyes where dark red, his fangs where on show and he was licking his lips I flinched as he pounced at me. I was shook several times by my mom “Ava, Ava come back are you okay?” She asked me, I didn't understand what was happening what and where was I? I looked around the room there faces all looking at me confused but concerned “how is that possible?” Lana asked in shock “I don't know” I said “ remember there blocking my power they don't know about you” my mom said, reassuring me that what had just happened wasn't real but could be.

I swallowed hard and I felt Cole's arm wrap around me, feeling instantly safe I managed to regain control of myself “I'm okay it felt weird” I said my dad looked deep into me “The oracle in you saw into the future, what did you see?” he asked I wanted to enjoy my birthday with Cole so I decided to hold part of it back “I was in a room and it felt strange there was a man I think but it didn't feel soon” I answered my dad, his face was washed over with relief “Okay get dressed and come down for breakfast” my dad said. They all left my room except for Cole “Happy birthday I have a very exciting day planned for you” he said pulling me into his arms and kissing me passionately.

My body was full of goosebumps and there where tingles everywhere! I moaned lowly into his mouth, he pulled back and then locked eye contact “not yet! Wow when I reached the living room it was decorated with balloons and banners, there where presents covering the coffee table, I squealed in excitement “cake for breakfast” my mom said, handing me a generous slice of the delicious chocolate cake it smelt truly indulgent I grabbed a fork full shovelling it into my mouth it was mouth watering, I let out a satisfied ummm as I shovelled another fork full into my face, my dad laughed “some things never change hey” he said, looking at my mom and made my face glow with embarrassment since as far as I can remember on my birthday my mom would make this cake and let me have it for breakfast and I would always eat it like I had never tasted it before, although with my new heightened senses it truly tasted better than ever. Cole was devouring a slice too and he was looking at me with an intense stir sending chills down my spine.

I opened all my beautiful gifts from my mom and dad, Lana, aunt Emilia and Cole's parents they were all such thoughtful gifts especially Lana's it was a small tree that my fey could grow and tend to. As a fey when they reached age they would plant a tree for mother earth to thank her for there powers and to give back a gift of love to her. I spent the morning with friends and family, planting my seedling and eating cake. “It's time to go” Cole said placing his hand on the small of my back, saying good bye to everyone we got ready to leave “remember even a hint of trouble you mind link us right” my mom said as we waved to them “yes mom okay” I said as Cole opened the passenger side of his car.  

There was a silence in the car, it wasn't an awkward silence but more like a tense one the air still filled with lust around us. I wasn't sure if we would even reach the lodge at this point, I could feel every ounce of it. I looked at Cole his hands were tightening around the wheel I put my hand on his thigh and I felt him tremble beneath me. “A few more minutes please Ava” he said through gritted teeth, with no one being around I took it on myself to undo my dress pulling slowly over one shoulder then the other, down to my waist slowly, until I was sat in just my underwear and I heard him growl “What are you doing to me? I really am going to punish you for teasing you know” he said and I could see him bulging, looking at my pink lace underwear.  

We finally reached the cabin and no sooner he had switched off the engine he was at my side of the car pulling me out carrying me bridal style and running inside the cabin, he put me down on the kitchen counter.
