Adrien's P.O.V

I couldn't settle in bed that night thinking about the bloodsuckers that threatened our family again, I have no idea where my mom and dad are, they left once I passed over the pack. I need to know what the bloodsuckers want and why had they tried to take my wife. Faith rolled over and faced me, her hair framing her face, she stroked her hand across my cheek and I felt the soft tingles “Your doing some tossing and turning there baby, what's going on?” she asked me. I looked deep into her eyes “you know when they attacked me at my crowning ceremony” I say not really sure if I should ask “did you ever see what it was they were after?” I asked wondering if it could be linked. She stroked my hair “they wanted you my love, they wanted to take you for your blood and power, the only species more deadly than themselves” yes wolfs are strong but there not as fast as bloodsuckers and I have more strength than a wolf because I am Lycan.  

Our breed was the first of the moon goddess's creation and then she created the wolfs. My father was the last pure blood Lycan left, I assumed they had come for him. “Wait what about Ava?” I said looking at my wife with pain and desperation in my face. Faith smiled “they don't know of her existence yet sweetheart, they were probably trying to take me so you would go after me” she pointed out, I took another breath “They wouldn't get very far only sending one yampy vamp after me” I said then it clicked “unless there's a bounty on my head?” I say, Faith looked at me and her eyes rolled back to completely white, she does this when she's trying to look into the future of a person's fate. She was like this for five maybe even ten minutes and she came back sitting up sharply “Your right there's a bounty out for you, I couldn't find out who it was that wanted you though, but Adrien when they come for you there going to discover Ava, there going to try and take her and make her breed with there leaders son!” she said, panic laced her voice. This enraged my Lycan and Fey sitting up in bed and growling so loud it made the house rattle. Ava came running in, “what's going on?” she said with a look of pure panic on her face.

I patted the bed and faith wrapped her arms around Ava, she explained what she had for seen, Ava sat there silently hanging on every word that poured out of her mom's mouth. I saw her trembling when she got to the part of her then becoming the prize they would try to take her from everyone. “No not a chance, it's not going to happen! I am going to make sure I am powerful! So powerful that they can't take me or dad we will both destroy them all wont we dad” she said smiling at me, but there was no point in me lying to her she would see straight through it now her fey has awoken, I could see her lust for blood “Ava all we can do is our best, I think we should work on strategies for every possible scenario so you know what to do if the worst happens and they take you” she looked my way and nodded “thank you dad for being honest with me but for now I am going to train harder, we are going to push me to the limits, even if that means you locking me in the dungeons with killer rogues, I know there's some down there Sky could smell them” she said this and meant every word, I could see it in her face and in her eyes, determination soared through her soul I was so proud, yet the thought of it terrified me.  

“We will see about that, but I think In the mean time we should do a merge” I said, looking at faith and she nodded her head “what's a merge” Ava asked me, her eyes scrunched up in confusion “It's when two packs become one” I said to Ava “the closest pack to this one is Cole's Ava, I will also feel safer if he is here with you more, you told me both your Fey and Lycan where in love with him, having him around may give you the strength to be able to harmonise them together. In the mean time we need more fey ask Lana if she can bring a few friends next time we train” I told her calmly, she nodded her head she was smiling that I also accepted Cole to become part of our family “dad I do think you should teach me how to break out of chains and cells in case I get captured I feel like it will help” I nodded my head at least that's safer than being locked in with a filthy rogue.

The next day I asked Joe to set up a meeting with his brother Alpha Athos of Dark woods pack I didn't say why, he just automatically assumed it was because of Cole especially because I asked that Cole be present at the meeting. Joe got off the phone looking pleased, “He will be here in an hour his days pretty quiet today, plus Cole was pestering to come see Ava again anyway”Joe said. Joe's beta and gamma both sorted out refreshments and snacks, I didn't want the conversation in the office it was too formal and I wanted them all to feel relaxed, so instead I thought the pack house would be better the time he was coming everyone was out training anyway.

They pulled up outside the house promptly and Alpha Athos walked towards us he greeted his brother in a hug and then turned to me, extending his hand to shake “Well Adrien it is good to see you again, your looking well, you've met my son Cole of course” he said in a friendly manner. I read in his eyes he felt intimidated by me ever so slightly yet his son did not show any fear just complete awe and respect I held my hand out to shake his hand “It's good to see you too Athos and yes I have met your son, he's a great lad and he will become a very strong Alpha some day” I say all this looking into his eyes, not once breaking eye contact. I saw the relief that I approved of his son and then he gave me the same look of respect his son had shown me. “Shall we?” I said pointing to the pack house we all filed in and they where caught off guard to see Ava sat down in the living room, Cole ran over to her and hugged her and it made me smile looking at them, “Ava will be present during the meeting as it effects her as much or maybe even more than the rest of us” I stated, they all looked at me with questioning eyes “Please lets all go sit” faith came in and said a quick hello to Athos, before sitting down next to me.  

“So the reason I have asked you all here is because of the threat that I have unfortunately brought back to the pack” faith gave me a sympathising look but I continued “the bloodsuckers and goddess knows who else are after me because there is a bounty on my head, faith for seen it last night but she also saw that the person who is after me will also come to know of Ava's existence and they plan to breed with her to make a new superior race” I said this and dropped my eyes to Cole. I hated hurting Cole by telling him this, I saw the rage build in his eyes and he struggled to keep his wolf from bursting out of him right there and then, I put a hand on his shoulder and Ava weaved her fingers through his it seemed to calm him.  

“Now Joe I know I gave you this pack and I have no right to ask you or Athos to do this but either way Cole and Ava are the heirs to both packs. I request we merge the packs into one and do the blood bond with their blood, it will strengthen all within both packs because of our Lycans and feys blood and we may stand a chance to save our future Luna” I finished with that and both Athos and Joe looked at each other then back at me. Joe spoke first, he looked so proud “Adrien as far as I'm concerned this has always been and will always be your pack. I was merely looking after it whilst you where away, so if this is what you want and Athos accepts I have no problem with it” he said, I smiled at his answer and gave him a brotherly pat on the back.

I looked to Athos and so did Cole. Athos looked to Cole taking in a deep breath, “It is not my decision to make as I will not be Alpha for much longer once the mating ceremony has been done Cole will be crowned Alpha, so son you have to decide if this is something you want to do?” Athos said, we all waited in anticipation for his answer. Cole looked me directly in the eyes “Sir I told you before, I will do anything to keep Ava safe so my answer is of course yes” he stated, the smile on Ava's face grew so wide when she heard Cole speak about her that way. 

When she saw him look back to her she blushed a deep shade of red, “there is one more thing I would like to request Cole would you come stay here in the pack house you will have your own room of course until after you are both mated, I just think it will help Ava with her power and emotions if her mate is near by” I said, Cole was blushing “Yes Sir if that's what she needs” Cole said, I loved this kid he is going to make my daughter so happy. “Well that's everything unless any of you have anything you want to discuss” I said, they all shook there heads “Okay well lets all get on with preparations, Ava you and Cole can go and train now” I said knowing they were dying to get away from us all. Young love I just hope I can save them both from the trouble I have caused just being here with them.

Coles P.O.V

When Adrien had dismissed us to go train I actually thought we were going to train but Ava had other ideas “He just said that because he knew I wanted to get out of there” Ava stated, smiling at my naivety with a mischievous glint in her eyes, she wrapped her arms around my neck and tiptoed she kissed me delicately on my lips, but moved before it could become more passionate. Her being a fey is going to be hard to deny she knows better than me, “Well where to then miss?” I said bowing at her, she started laughing at me and screamed “Ice cream shop yummmmm”

I had to laugh at her she's super cute. “I'll race you” I said laughing, how stupid was I thinking I could beat her she was so much faster than me. Her eyes shone ice cold blue and she winked before blowing me a kiss her fey Isla was taunting me and I would be lying if I said I didn't like it. She had ordered her ice cream by the time I reached the shop and was already sat at a window seat. I ordered myself mint and chocolate chip and sat down opposite her. “I bet Isla is bragging now that she won the race” I said to her laughing, her eyes swirled looking into mine “Isla is quite competitive but she said she wasn't at full speed to give you a chance” her cheeks blushed looking into my eyes, I could feel mine glowing gold just seeing her beautiful smile.

We spent all afternoon getting to know each other more, she had never had a boyfriend and struggled to make friends, it was sad to know she had been alone but it felt magical to know I was the first guy she had feelings for. She had lived a very much human life up to this point, she had learnt so much more about the world than I could of ever imagined, she had travelled all over with both her mom and dad's work. She truly was amazing her laugh was music to my ears, If I died right now I would go from this world a happy guy knowing that she was part of it.  

“Come on I want to take you somewhere” I said to Ava, holding her hand the tingles spread through my arms and I felt the mate bond pulling stronger than before. We got to the clearing under a big old tree, the tree was full of beautiful pink flowers and as the wind lightly blew the petals, it looked like it was snowing. Ava's face lit up she put her hand on the trunk of the tree and her hands glowed in a gold and blue swirl. She looked to me and I captured the magic that was growing within her. Right before my eyes more and more flowers appeared on the tree “Did you just do that?” I asked her in suprise, she nodded “Yes Isla told me how to” her cheeks glowed pink again and she looked down to the floor.  

I lifted her chin up with my fingers, feeling the electricity building, I smiled looking into her eyes, they swirled both gold and ice blue and she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me again, needing more this time I snaked my arms around her waist and kissed her back I deepened the kiss, biting her bottom lip gently waiting for access and she granted it. I roamed her mouth gently with my tongue and heard a low growl moan escape her. Realising it was becoming difficult for us both to control our inner beasts, I pulled her into a warm embrace, sniffing her head and kissing her forehead, being so close to her fills me with a bubbling feeling in my stomach.

I don't know how long we stood there for but I would happily freeze in this moment, just being engulfed in her warmth. She stepped back with a face full of confusion “I guess we better head back, my dad might have let me out of training for a few hours, but I can guarantee he will want me back for my normal training times” she said, this in a stern voice and it felt almost cold. “Okay well he wants me to train with you anyway so I'll come back with you” I said, she just nodded and started walking from the clearing. I wasn't sure what I had done that had upset her but she looked slightly annoyed with me now. I didn't want to push the subject because she is struggling with the other voices in her head as it is.

Ava's P.O.V

We had a perfect moment and I could feel the love bubbling away inside of me but then out of no where doubt, guilt and anger filled my head. I don't know if I was reading it from him or myself it's so confusing at the moment with all that's going on in my head. As we approached the house my dad came walking out towards us “Nice to see you back on time for training” he said, looking at us both and then smiling but he caught something as he looked into my eyes. “Cole can you give me and my daughter a moment please” he asked Cole, he nodded but sadness filled his face as he walked into the house, shaking his head and rubbing the back of his neck.  

I now feel full of guilt “What's wrong” my dad asked me concerned “I don't know I was having a beautiful moment with Cole and then my head was full of doubt and guilt” I replied to my dad, he put his hand on my shoulder “It wasn't his feelings you where reading petal” he said this and sighed deeply “It would be Lana's I have her following you, I'm sorry” he said looking down “when your out of my sight, I need to know your protected I know it's not right and she obviously agreed” he said lifting his eyes to look into mine.

“If anything arises I want you to have them both with you to help, especially after your mom saw you took by the bloodsuckers” he said, I looked into his eyes and I saw the guilt but most of all the fear he held in his heart. I embraced my dad into a big hug “It's okay dad, thank you for being honest I best go speak to Cole, I was kind of cold towards him” I said with sadness in my voice. Everyone is doing what they feel is right for me but no one seems to be asking if I'm okay with it, don't get me wrong I appreciate it but it's frustrating.

I walked into the house and Cole was sat watching an episode of tom and jerry on the television, “So which are you the intelligent mouse or the over confident cat?” I asked him, catching him off guard he looked at me and smiled slightly but it didn't reach his eyes “Is everything okay?” he asked walking towards me “Yes I was reading Lana's emotions, unknowingly when we was having a moment and thought they were yours, I read doubt, guilt and anger, it confused me, I'm still working on my powers and thought why would you feel any of them so I blocked you out, I'm sorry” I said this and looked down to the ground, he stepped closer and lifted my chin “what do you r******w?” he said smiling, his brown eyes looking into mine.  

Flutters filled my stomach and his touch was vibrating through my body “Love and admiration” I said and my cheeks glowed so brightly but before I could say or do anything else he closed the gap and kissed me again, goosebumps stood up all over my body and electricity covered every nerve ending, this felt so fierce and I hated that we had to stop. We heard someone clearing there throat impatiently, we broke apart to see a very embarrassed Lana, I saw the same emotions I had read in the clearing “Lana hey” Cole said, “I'll go outside and get ready for training with your dad” Cole said, pecking me on the cheek before he left. 

I walked towards Lana, she is my friend and I care about her so much “Lana why anger, guilt and doubt?” I said looking into her eyes “Ava your part fey and even though I like Cole, it still angers me to see you both so close, I'm angry with myself for feeling this way too. I know you both as my friend's and I know your good together, the guilt is because of watching you both have intimate moments oh and the doubt that's all me I don't know if I can help protect you” I nodded my head seeing she was being honest “Let's go get this training started hey” I said linking my arm in hers she seemed quite stiff by my gesture, I think she is like me and never had a true friend.

I stepped out onto the training field and there where two wolfs this time plus Cole, One was Brett and I think the other is a female. There were also two fey one male with messy red hair, his frame was large but he was still quite short. The female with him had long dark hair and was tiny. My dad spoke loud and clear “I have asked you all here to attack my daughter, I need her to be ready and prepared for when the bloodsuckers attack, plus it will do you all well to have extra training. I would love to bring all the fey to train with the wolfs but I know that may not be a possibility so for now charge!” he shouted, taking me by surprise.  

I stood and concentrated everyone seemed to be moving in slow motion as I anticipated the first to attack it was Lana she threw a knife that I caught and then I side stepped the light brown wolf that was Brett, as the female fey tried to throw a punch I managed to dodge it and threw her across the green, Cole ran to take my legs from underneath me and I jumped onto his back slapping him lightly on the back end. The male fey launched at me and managed to knock me off Cole's back I landed on my ass, as another wolf pinned me, I think this is the female wolf I already know I don't like her. I kicked her off hooking my feet underneath her back legs and threw the knife towards the male fey who then launched another attack.  

I side stepped Brett and ran to the far end of the clearing leaving them all shell shocked that I had avoided there attacks. I stood waiting again when the female fey took me by surprise with a knife I managed to dodge it but it grazed my shoulder. Everything went blurry and I felt my arms start to snap and crack, “Stop!” my dad shouted with such authority, the ground shook and even though everyone else stopped, I felt another snap this time it was my back the pain was excruciating. 

I lost my focus and my body was trembling waves of pain surged through me, I felt like my body was on fire, I heard sky saying “relax I've got this” and the ground felt like it was pulled from underneath me. Cole was by my side as I dropped to the floor, the snapping and cracking carried on and then I felt so much pain in my head I tried so hard to open my eyes, I lifted my hands to hold my head as I saw white fluffy paws before the darkness over took me.

I woke up in my room, I was confused before I heard sky speak to me first “are you okay Ava? I'm sorry I tried to take over too early but I felt threatened and my anger took over me” she said panicked, “how was that even possible my birthday's not for another week” but this time Isla answered me “I pulled her forward I was already using my powers and I didn't feel like it was enough, that young fey girl offended me” I knew then that they where already working together to protect me, I knew I wouldn't loose either.  

My dad walked into my room regret all over his face “I'm so sorry petal I pushed you too hard” he said shaking his head, “the early change could of killed you” he said, his eyes where welled up with tears, I reached for his hand “dad my fey and Lycan are working together to look after me” his eyes opened wide as he looked at me in surprise “there doing what?” he sounded shocked and horrified at the same time. “Is that bad dad?” I said not knowing the answer to the question that had him looking terrified “It's not bad but I am worried for you Ava, I'm going to speak to your mom” he said rushing out of my room.

Cole walked in looking at me worryingly “how are you feeling?” he asked, I looked into his eyes “I don't really know, my dad's concerned my fey and Lycan are working together already to protect me but I feel safe” Cole bit his bottom lip and then sat next to me on my bed, stroking my cheek “Your dad told me it took him a long time to get his Lycan and fey to harmonise, his had fought for dominance within him, it wasn't until the bloodsuckers had attacked that they worked together, yet yours are already doing it”

“What if it's your oracle essence that is causing it because they are picking up on the danger your oracle is reading?” he said and it made sense my Lycan did say she had felt threatened and my fey did say that she had pulled at my Lycan. “Your right” I said to him, “what really?” he said surprised. “Go and get my dad” I said because my body was still too weak, no sooner he moved away from me the pain increased. Cole ran out of my room before coming back with my mom and dad, he sat back by my side and I instantly felt the same calmness I had before.

I explained to them both that me and Cole had worked it out, my mom looked at me confused “what's wrong mom” I asked her “sweetheart I haven't recently picked up on any danger” then my dad said “what about if it's a witch blocking you again, but because your powers are blocked it's causing Ava's to kick in prematurely?” Then Cole stood up “ we need to use this to our advantage they think we don't know about them” Cole said.  

My dad stood up and picked up his phone, dialling a number, It rang for a few seconds before a familiar voice answered “Lana hey it's Adrien I need to speak to my Auntie please, can you tell her its urgent and the threat effects us all, I'm willing to meet her wherevers necessary” my dad said, I heard Lana speak to my dad. They spoke for a few moments and relief washed over his face as he ended the call. “She's going to meet with me in between both our territory's” my dad said excitedly, “I'm coming with you dad I have to, I have a feeling I can persuade her” I spoke honestly, I looked into my dads eyes and he nodded “Cole's coming as well then to keep you safe in case she doesn't take to my plan” dad said in a stern tone so I knew not to argue. Cole looked happy and I felt it too, it hurts for him to be away from me at the moment.

We walked to my dad's car, well Cole carried me as I was still weak but I needed to be a part of that meeting I knew it in my gut. I wrapped my arms around Cole's neck and tucked my head into his neck taking in his scent I saw his hairs standing on end from me being so close to him again, Isla spoke to me “don't worry Ava we will convince her, Auntie Emilia will see in your eyes we are safer together” I smiled her words gave me confidence in myself. “What's got you smiling” Cole said, but I didn't answer him I just kissed him softly on his cheek “Thank you” I said to him and he knew what for.  

“Where are we meeting Auntie Emilia dad” I asked and his face looked confused “How did you know her name?” he said, I smiled “Isla told me” I said smiling at him. His eyes glowed Ice cold blue “I Isla I I is your fey's name?” he asked stuttering. I nodded my head looking confused “Yes why?” I asked “Ava Isla isn't just any fey she is one of the first fey she could bring life to nature” he said, Cole gasped as he said this remembering what I had done in the clearing “you are truly more powerful than any of us” my dad said filling me with pride and panic all at once.

We arrived at the meeting point it's a cafe in human territory, when I caught the smell of cherry blossoms and forest, I turned to look who's scent I was picking up on when a women with snow white hair and the bluest eyes I had ever seen walked in Lana was with her. “Adrien so nice to see you” she said her voice was low but I heard her clearly she turned to me “this is Ava I assume” she said looking at me and Isla spoke up taking front seat “I am Isla I am Ava's fey, I'm sure you remember me” my voice didn't sound at all like mine it sounded full of authority, Emilia's face was full of shock “You hold Isla inside of you?” she asked I nodded and smiled.

“She tried to pull my Lycan into action because she felt threatened I don't turn eighteen until next week” I spoke honestly, she looked into my eyes and then her face changed her eyes held such shock. “what are you asking of us Adrien?” she said whilst still looking at me in awe. My dad spoke with Emilia “We want to form an alliance with you and our kind, we want to train together to increase all our chances to fight the war that is coming, Ava's life is threatened by it” she looked hesitant, but then she looked back to me ”We will come to your training sessions Adrien and be part of an alliance” she said “we would be honoured to protect you Isla and our kind”. We all nodded at her and I bowed my head to show her my respect, my dad always taught me to be humble now I know why. She looked shocked but smiled and took her leave.

I managed to walk back to the car although I could tell Cole was slightly disappointed, I couldn't show weakness in front of Emilia. “You did great in there petal” dad said, with a huge smile beaming across his face “now about your eighteenth I am not so sure a party will be such a good idea after all we need to keep up with your training and make sure your ready, I wanted the party so that the pack could meet there future Luna but it's not safe” his face was pained “oh no I was really looking forward to a party” I said with sarcasm and a smirk.

“It will all be okay dad well as long as Isla and Sky don't pull any more party tricks” I said trying to make my dad feel better. “Oh we never got chance to talk about your Lycan before, she's white and blue Ava, white is a sign of royalty you carry pure blood within you which isn't surprising, I do wonder how powerful you will become though over years I must admit, especially with Isla laying inside aswell” the confidence and pride in my dad's voice was immense. Cole held my hand and smiled at me, “I'm proud of you” he said to me, kissing my hand gently, I was full of love, awe, respect and confidence.

We arrived back at the pack house and headed up to bed, Cole walked into my room with me for a while to make sure I was settled before he went to his own room. “Can I ask you something?” I said to him as he was about to leave my room, I was slightly embarrassed about what I'm about to say, Cole stopped, he walked towards me and held my hands “Sky has told me about the mating bond but what it entails she hasn't said, can you tell me? You mentioned before about marking me is it like a tattoo?” Cole sat down on the bed and pulled me onto his lap “I will have to mark you by biting into this spot here” he stroked the soft skin just above my collarbone, as his fingers stroked the spot I felt aroused by his feather light touch “then we seal the bond by making love” as he said this his breath fanned my lips “will it hurt?” I asked, “It might hurt for a moment but everyone who I have spoken to have said it is more pleasure than pain” he answered me fully.  

I wrapped my hands around his neck and straddled him kissing him deeply, my soft lips felt hot, breathing in his scent I could hear Sky howling in excitement and Isla moaning lowly. Cole lifted me off him and placed me on the bed, he hovered over me and positioned himself between my legs, I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him closer to me, he left my lips and started trailing soft kisses down my neck to the soft spot. I pulled him into my neck harder and grind my hips into him. My body filled with lust and I couldn't stop myself I wanted him so much, I moaned loudly as he kissed my spot again.  

I started to pull at his shirt and almost ripped it off when he pulled back, I felt myself whimper, he was breathless we were both hot and flustered, he closed his eyes and sat there for a moment I wondered what was happening. He lay next to me wrapping his arms around my waist “I can't mark you yet Ava, trust me we want to” he whispered, and by his arousal I could tell “I know, I just got carried away I can't control myself around you” I said softly, I turned over facing Cole he rested his forehead on mine “I better go to my room before I give in to max” he said in a husky voice, he kissed my head gently and left my room. I didn't want him to leave but I could smell him all over me and it helped me nod off gently.
