A BETTER BALANCE
The Agent was going through the computer in the dark room again watching a cadastral map close to John’s house that he destroyed... and he was wearing sunglasses again. He zoomed in – the house was documented as a property to Elizabeth Carter. The Agent checked for info about her – no criminal record, no phone number, no car or anything else on her name. Then he ran the fingerprint samples, and they started to be analyzed on the computer. One of them had no match because Melanie did not have a criminal record, but the other one brought out the army record of John Barnes, which caught The Agent’s interest – he recognized him, although John was 10 years younger on the picture and with short hair.
