CHAPTER 21:
THE DENORIANS
The silence was almost complete… if the howling wind, the pouring rain and the thunders outside were not considered to be noise. Meanwhile, somebody was sneaking in the dark not far from the dome. No one was talking yet, everybody was expecting someone else to make a move.
“As you wish!” said Trian and touched the dome again.
“” yelled Leivern, and she came out of the dark pushing Trian away from the dome. Then Leivern approached it, bent over, pulled the virtual display, pressed a few symbols and marks, and the dome disappeared. But then Trian got up and swept Adena away with a charge, just inches from the humans. Leivern grabbed him and shouted at them:
“Run!”
They got off the dome platform and headed for the door. Trian threw Leivern aside and chased them
