Brad My anger at the situation vanished when I saw Georgia faint. For a brief moment I didn’t think about anything but her. She looked so fragile in my arms I was overcome at shame that my accusation was the cause. Moments later she was pushing me away insisting she was fine as I hovered nearby unsure what to do. The policeman kept exchanging looks with me, like he was unsure if he could leave us alone and seemed relieved when the doctor walked in. I was too worried about her to take in much of what they were saying, but I got the gist of Dad was going to be okay. Relief washed over me but I didn’t stray far from Geo as she looked awful.
