‘Jackie. Darling. Wake up.’ My nose scrunches, rubbing my face into my pillow, groaning as I feel someone poke my cheek. “Phantom,” I whine, weakly swiping at the entity as he pokes me again. “I’m tired and achy. Can’t you let me sleep a little longer?” A breathy laugh escapes from Phantom and a puff of warm air hits my ear causing me to shiver and nuzzle further into my blanket. ‘Darling, honestly, you don’t want me to climb underneath there with you.’ My eyes snap open at that and I quickly sit up just as an icy hand touches my cheek. “I’m up!
