A DATE WITH THE KING

Luna’s POV

A couple of days have passed and I’ve been training nonstop as well as my mom with Alpha Aiden. I honestly think my mom wants to fight Elijah as well. If he tries to force her again there is no telling what my mother is capable of doing. 

She has increased her speed and strength just in case.

After training Ryker comes up to me.

King Ryker: Good morning Love.

I tried to hide my blush after Ryker calls me by the endearing nickname love.

Luna: Hey, Good morning,

King Ryker: (Smiles) No need to hide your blush. Your even more Beautiful when you blush.

I feel my face burn red blushing even more if that's even possible. Feeling even more than embarrassed wishing a hole in the ground would just swallow me whole.

Luna: (Laughs) Well aren’t you extra charming today. Is there anything I can do for you?

King Ryker: Yes, actually I was hoping if your free this evening let’s say five-thirty?

Luna: Yes I am, are you asking me out?

This time it's Ryker’s turn to blush, and I can’t help but laugh since now I know I have the same effect on him as he has on me.

King Ryker: Yes I am, dress comfortable and warm, ok.

Luna: Ok, Where are you taking me?

King Ryker: Don’t worry about that right now. Just be ready by five-thirty I’ll be picking you up.

Luna: Ok, then I’ll see you tonight.

King Ryker: Ok, till then love.

I turn away blushing and I hear him laugh. What an ass, 

I know he’s doing it on purpose now. I mind-link Rose as soon as I leave letting her now I need help getting ready for my date with Ryker tonight.

Luna: *ML to Rose*

Hey, can you help me get ready for my date tonight with King Ryker? He said to dress comfortable and warm, but I need help finding something that's cute comfy, and warm.

Rose: *ML to Luna*

Yeah, no problem I’ll be right over.

When Rose arrives she has a huge smile on her face.

Luna: Rose what’s the big smile for? What do you know that I don't?

Rose: Oh, nothing. I’m just so happy for you. Here you are going on a date with King Ryker and you already had a date with a Prince James,  both of them are your mates, and here I am and still haven’t even found my mate.

Luna: Oh, I’m sorry Rose.

Rose: No, there is no reason for you to feel sorry for me. This just means I need to attend more events in order to find my mate. I will ask my parents’ permission after the challenge with you and the Alpha King Elijah.

Luna: Ok, and thank you for being here for me I truly appreciate it.

Rose: Of course, what kind of friend would I be if I left now? And we all know I can’t leave Michael to help you with these kinds of things cause let’s face it he sucks at this.

We both laugh 

Luna: Very true.

Rose: So, do you have any idea where King Ryker is taking you?

Luna: Honestly no, but he did say to dress comfortable and warm.

Rose: Ok, I know exactly what to get you.

Rose heads to my closet and pulls out a couple of pairs of my favorite jeans and a couple of cute tops I can choose from to wear.

Rose: OK, these are both great choices, now all you need to do is narrow it down to the outfit you like most.

Luna: Ok.

I look at the outfits Rose chose for me, one is my favorite light blue ripped jeans with a white long sleeve off the shoulder top with the sweetheart neckline. And the other is my high wasted medium blue denim jeans with a long sleeve crop top sweater. And she paired them to both matches my suede tan booties. 

I chose to wear a second outfit.

Luna: I'm going to wear the crop top sweater and jeans. 

Rose: Ok, well hurry up and get changed so I can help you with your hair and makeup.

Luna: Ok.

I head to the bathroom to take a shower then change into the clothes I chose.

When I come out the bathroom dresses rose looks at me and smiles.

Rose: How about you wear your hair down today in loose waves with some light makeup.

Luna: Ok. 

After Rose is done with my hair and makeup I look at the time and I see it's now five thirty-five.

Luna: Crap. I'm late.

Rose: Don't worry. It's just five minutes, normally woman takes hours extra he should consider himself lucky. 

I laugh as we make our way downstairs,

And see Ryker patiently waiting at the foot of the steps, he is wearing dark blue jeans and a fitted black t-shirt with a black leather jacket.

We smile at each and reach for my hand as I make it to the bottom of the steps.

King Ryker: You look beautiful.

Luna: Thank you, you too, I mean you look handsome, not beautiful.

I mentally slap myself for rambling.

King Ryker: (Laughs) I know. Are you ready to go? You're going to need this.

Ryker hands me a motorcycle helmet.

Luna: Uhm ok,

I take the helmet and walk towards Ryker’s bike. He gets on the bike first and I get on behind him also putting on my helmet.

King Ryker: Have you ever ridden on a motorcycle before?

Luna: No, this is the first time.

King Ryker: Ok, just hold on to my waist and follow my lead. Do you trust me?

Luna: Ok and Yes.

King Ryker: Good.

Ryker and I ride off on his bike. I have to admit it's scary, but I’m also very excited.

I wonder what he has planned since it's almost dusk. 

We arrive near a lake and the view is spectacular. I see that Ryker has a picnic basket with unlit candles on top of a blanket by the lake, with a view of the mountains and the setting sun.

Luna: Wow, did you do all this yourself?

Ryker lights the candles while speaking.

King Ryker: Yes. Do you like it?

Luna: I love it, it's perfect and the view. 

King Ryker: I’m glad, this is where I come to think. This place reminds me of back home, and I wanted to share it with you.

We sit on the blanket enjoying the view of the setting sun, and Ryker removes his jacket and wraps it around my shoulders, suffocating me with his scent which has my stomach flipping and me clenching my thighs.

King Ryker: (Smiles) Are you alright there?

I blush and look down knowing damn well he can smell my arousal, but when I look up I see his eyes are filled with lust. 

Luna: Uhm, Yeah. So what’s in the basket it smells amazing and I’m starving.

King Ryker: (Laughs) someone is hungry. I made us some Schnitzel and a salad I hope you don't mind.

Luna: Wait, what is Schnitzel and you can cook?

King Ryker: (Laughs) Schnitzel is a thin boneless cutlet of meat coated in breadcrumbs with a slice of lemon and a fried egg on top. And yes I can cook.

Hearing Ryker describe what he cooked has me salivating.

Luna: Wow, I can’t wait to try it. it sounds delicious and even smells amazing.

Ryker serves me first before serving himself. When we begin to eat I can’t help but let a moan escape my lips after tasting how delicious the food is.

I look up to see Ryker staring at me with lustfully and smelling his arousal causing me to clench my thighs tighter and look down because I feel my eyes burn red and my canines break through my gums. 

King Ryker: (Coughs) Uhm, can you not do that.

Luna: Do what? I didn't do anything.

King Ryker: Can you not Moan, please. I know you know what I mean. I smell your arousal as well.

I blush than I nod, and truly try to eat quietly even though it's really hard because it's so delicious. After our little dinner, I thank Ryker for cooking a delicious meal.

Luna: Thank you for the delicious meal, I didn’t expect you to cook so well.

King Ryker: I glad you enjoyed it. So now that we have eaten how about we get to know a little more about each other?

Luna: Ok, what do you want to know?

King Ryker: Everything including the reason you are challenging the Alpha King Elijah. I mean I know the reason you challenged him but I feel like that's only part of it.

Luna: the reason I’m challenging Elijah is not only because he had tried to kill me but he is my father and he raped my mother leaving her for dead.

King Ryker: Wait, The Alpha King is your father? Does he know that you're his daughter and that your mother is alive?

Luna: No, he doesn’t know about either of us, and I like to keep it that way until the day of the challenge. 

King Ryker: You sure you don't want to reach out sooner?

Luna: Yes, I'm sure plus he’ll be here on my birthday so if he finds out then I don't care I will still go through with the challenge if not sooner.

King Ryker: Ok, how are you feeling about all this?

Luna: Feeling about this as in us? Or as in me challenging my father?

I say this while pointing at the both of us.

King Ryker: Well for now just about the challenge. Are you nervous?

Luna: Not at all, that's why I’m training daily.

As we get to know each other more I learn that he is an only child and not only is he a king of Germany but the king of the supernatural in Germany as well. That explains all the tattoos.

After a while of talking Ryker takes me home, after we arrive at my doorstep I go to thank Ryker for the night.

Luna: Thank you for tonight I had a really good time.

King Ryker: Me too. Would you mind if I gave you a kiss?

Luna: (Blushes) Uhm, no I don't mind.

Ryker grabs me by the waist pulling me into his body before placing his lips on mine. The moment our lips touch sparks fly. And he pulls away before the kiss deepens. He smiles.

King Ryker: Good Night gorgeous.

Luna: Good Night Ry.

I head inside and go up to my room feeling completely screwed because I don't know whether I want the prince or the king.
