Oh, baby, look what you started The temperature's rising in here Is this gonna happen?   Ariana Grande- Into you _____________________________________       If Harris had ever thought a point in his life had been the most troubling and confusing moment then there was a fallacy in that decision. Never had he been this confused, never had he ever felt this vulnerable, never had he ever been so down hearted. The same heart that was doing flip flops anytime a certain dark haired boy came into mind.   He laid on white sheets in bed on Monday morning dreading to go for school. For the first time in his life he was actually feeling pessimistic about school that day. Well not exactly school but then because of a certain someone he was inevitably going to see. And the worst part was he had biology that morning. When he had arrived home after the party on Friday night, he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened, what he had felt, and why he was getting those feelings. He had been distracted all through the weekend dreading to see Monday. Fiona being Fiona had noticed his change in mood and asked him about it but Harris said he simply was still tired from the party. Now it was Monday,   Freaking Monday.   Fiona burst open the doors of his room and stride towards his bed. She shook her head looking down at Harris and clicked her tongue, "You're just gonna lay there like that?" She asked taking a seat on the bed. She was dressed and ready to go for school.   "I plan to." Harris' morning voice replied huskily. He turned in the bed to look at Fiona. He slowly blinked and yawned pulling the sheets to wrap himself up in them like a cocoon.   "Are you on your period?" Fiona snickered and laid beside him.   Harris shot her a fierce look before sighing and pulling the sheets over his head. He didn't want to do anything. He didn't want to go to school. His chest was making him sick. He was feeling sick.   "Come on, what's wrong?" She probed poking his arm through the sheets.   "Leave me alone Fiona."   "We have to leave for school. Why are you PMS'ing so early in the morning." She whined. Lunch break wasn't going to be fun if Harris wasn't there. She needed someone to pester.   "I'm feeling sick." Harris mumbled.   Fiona raised her brows in concern. "Really? Which part hurts."   Harris pulled the sheets off his head and stared blankly at the ceiling "My chest....? Inside my chest?" He turned to Fiona. The feeling didn't exactly hurt, but it was there. And that's what bothered Harris.   "If you're feeling sick then you need to see a doctor Harris." Fiona said standing up from the bed. "Moreover you know dad won't let you stay home on a school day. You better dress your ass up, I'm taking the lead though....... Call me if anything ok?"   Harris nodded and watched her saunter out of the room. She was right, their father would never let him stay home on a school day. Rolling his eyes and sighing for the 80th time that morning, Harris groaned and got up from the bed he had sworn not to abandon and be in a relationship with forever last night. Well..... too bad.   He took his sweet time in taking a shower. He was so deep in thoughts to consider how late he was for school. He let the cold water pour on his head and drip down his body running down his V line. (now imagine that ;))   He got dressed up and tried to comb his hair and style it as presentable as possible but the stubborn fibers barely budged. He slid his phone into his pocket, grabbed his bag and made his way to his car.   Harris had never spent so much time on the road before school. He made sure to get stuck in traffic and drive as slowly as possible in order to miss biology. But of course the universe was always against him, when he made it to school and checked the time biology was only 10 minutes in.   "Ugghh..." He groaned standing at the door of the classroom and dreading to go inside. He knew Lesley was going to be there. And that was the problem.   He counted to 20 and puffed a few breaths out before turning the door knob. Everyone in the class raised their heads up to see who had dared Mr child's and come so late.   The first eye contact he made was with Lesley who in turn had his eyes planted on Harris. Harris' heart did that thing again.   "Mr Cooper you're late." Mr child's voice resonated in the room stating the obvious. He shot Harris a stern look waiting for an explanation. Harris was feeling uneasy. Not because Mr child's was looking at him like he was his barbaric step son, but because he knew Lesley had his eyes on him. He was watching.   "I got stuck in traffic." Harris swallowed. It wasn't a complete lie though; it was partly true.   Child's sighed and gestured him to take his seat which was next to Lesley by the way.   Harris didn't waste any time in walking towards the wrong direction. He took a seat beside a random girl three rows away from Lesley. The girl couldn't stop smiling. The famous Harris Cooper had sat beside her in biology on Monday morning, how lucky was she?   Lesley had his eyes on Harris all the time he was on his way to take his seat. And Harris knew Lesley was watching. And Lesley knew Harris knew he was watching him.   All through biology Harris stole glances at Lesley and every time he did his heart did that flip thing again. He would quickly look away needing 10 good minutes to calm down. Lesley would also look at Harris from time to time. He noticed how Harris had clenched his fists into a ball signifying he was nervous. The last time he did that it wasn't good. He wanted to confront Harris and ask him what was happening. But he never got the time to.   Right after biology Harris quickly got his stuff and shot out of the door not sparing any time. Lesley tried to spot him through the crowded hallway but he was nowhere to be found. Harris made sure to stay out of any path he knew Lesley would be taking. And when he saw Lesley coming from a direction, he would quickly dart into a classroom or stumble into another hallway. Harris even spent the whole of lunch break in his car. And when it was over, he made sure every soul had made it to class before he got down and headed towards English so he wouldn't bump into Lesley.   Ofcourse his friends noticed his weird actions. Aaron and mason whom he had English with couldn't help staring at him giving him suspicious looks. Mason would nudge him and raise his brows to ask what was up. Harris would simply shrug and concentrate once again on Miss Emily.   After class, Harris made sure he stayed with mason and Aaron. If Lesley was to see him he wouldn't confront him when he knew Harris was with his friends. Well for one, Lesley didn't like his friends and two, Lesley didn't like talking to anybody.   They were walking down the hallway when the intercom blasted that principal wheeler had an important information to give to them on the school paper so all students should move to the gym. Mason exchanged confused looks with Aaron thinking whatever it might be would have something to do with Harris because of his weird acts. Harris was in turn glad everyone was going to the gym, then he would be able to sneak out. He waved mason and Aaron goodbye and jogged down another corridor in direction of the parking lot. If he makes it in time no teacher would see him driving out.   Harris turned another corner to run down a flight of stairs when he caught sight of Lesley standing at the top of the stairs with folded arms waiting for him with a stare. Harris was so shocked he almost slipped and fell. His cheeks heated up all flustered and he quickly looked away so Lesley wouldn't see the red tinge creeping up his cheeks.   "You've been avoiding me." Lesley stated staring at him. He had on a questionable expression clearly stating he wasn't happy.   Harris swallowed and darted his eyes all over the floor getting nervous. "I'm not avoiding you." He said. They both knew he was though. Of course Lesley had noticed Harris quickly ducking away anytime he came into view.   "Really?" Lesley inquired with raised brows finding it hard to believe. Not after Harris refused to sit beside him in biology.   Harris simply nodded not trusting his voice to speak. Lesley was making it really hard for him to keep calm.   "Then why can't you look me in the eye." Lesley asked and slowly took three steps closer. Harris' eyes swelled into saucers when he realized Lesley was getting closer. Did he want Harris to die?   "Stay back!!!" Harris shouted raising his hands to stop Lesley. Lesley got startled shaking a bit from the unexpected shout. He creased his brows in confusion.   "Please don't get any closer for the love of Joseph...." Harris breathed out beginning to panic. If Lesley got any closer he was probably going to die. As of now the sensations creeping up his body and jumping pole volts in his heart were killing him already.   "Is everything alright?" Lesley asked getting more confused by the second. Harris was acting weird. And in a way Lesley was beginning to get hurt with Harris' actions. Why didn't he want him to get close? Was he disgusted by him? Had it now dawned on Harris that Lesley might probably be gay?  He didn't want to have anything to do with him anymore?   Lesley took a step closer to ask one more thing when Harris blurted up again, "Stop!! Please stop!"   Lesley frowned.   "Just stop. Stop! stop! stop! stop! stop!!" Harris ranted raising his finger to stop him. His eyes were wide and wild with his breathing getting much worse by the minute. If he didn't get away from there he was going to die. Any minute. The sooner he left the better. Then he'll be able to avoid Lesley and his questions. And also because he didn't want the boy before him to know how flustered he was getting because of him.   "I have to go." Harris stated. If he didn't leave the soonest he could then he was probably going to go crazy. Lesley would be the death of him.   Slowly, Lesley nodded feeling hurt and dejected but accepting the fact that Harris didn't want to see him. He backed away so Harris could flee down the stairs like a band of tigers were behind him.     Harris slumped into his drivers seat slamming the door behind him. He puffed out a few breaths to keep calm drumming his fingers unrhythmically on the wheel. Lesley was going to think he was retarded now.   "Ugghhhh." He groaned letting his head lull onto the wheel. He was nervously biting so hard into his lip to notice the blood seeping out.   "s**t!" He grunted and rummaged through the letter box to find a band aid. After desperately managing to fix his lip, Harris took a very deep breath and tried to fix his sanity. There's no doubt Lesley was going to think he was crazy now, very crazy. But what was he supposed to do? His only shot was running away like the coward he had been. If Lesley had gotten any closer Harris knew the worst would have been bound to happen.   And where the hell were those feelings from?!!   He had felt something to that a few days before but he had simply brushed them off. And at the party on Friday night he had felt something stronger than what he had felt before, a tingle he was scared of. And now, now he was f****d.   He couldn't see Lesley without those sensations erupting in full force. He couldn't look at him without being drawn to stare down at his lips. He couldn't look at him without noticing how Lesley had been looking good all this while... His eyes, his tiny freckles, his red lips, his really nice dark hair, and that sweet smell of Axe he always smelt off.....   "Oh god I'm fucked.." Harris threw his head against his seat. He stared blankly at the sky through his windshield wondering what he was going to do. What if the sensations didn't disappear by tomorrow? What if they stayed....what if they got stronger?   A knock on his window startled him. He turned to find Fiona staring down at him.   "And where do you think you are running away of to young man?" She asked folding her arms like a big sister. Harris was baffled on how Fiona could be so controlling for her age. Sometimes she made him forget he was older.   "I'm not well.."   "Well I can clearly see that." She sighed, "did you break into a fight again?" She asked pointing to his lip.   "Oh that...." Harris trailed off. "I bit it." He stated flatly.   "You bit it? Just like that?"   "Yes. I'm a masochist ok. Turns out you dont know me so well..." Harris muttered sarcastically.   Fiona shot him an incredulous look, "it has something to do with the Lesley boy doesn't it?" She asked.   On the mention of Lesley, Harris suddenly became alert gripping unto the steering wheel.   "Oh so it does..." She smiled mischievously at her brother.   Harris inwardly cringed. He didn't want Fiona to find out. She'll think he was a creep.   "I have to leave now." Harris said and not waiting for a reply he turned on the ignition and drove out of the school. Fiona stood back watching her brother drive away with a huge grin on her face. Harris was hiding something and she pretty much thought she was getting closer to it by every hour.   So she put herself on a mission, to make her brother fully realize what was happening to him... But in a teasing manner of course. After all, she was Fiona.
