I made you chase me I wasn't that friendly My love, my drug, we're f****d up, oh   Pink- Beautiful Trauma ____________________________________   "I'm sorry Fiona, I'm not allowed to give out their private number." Wheeler apologized with a pleading smile.   Fiona huffed. "But we need to speak with Mrs Lingard. For all we know Lesley could be lying around thirsty in the Sahara desert somewhere. Ok that's an exaggeration but you get the point." Fiona replied not giving up. Harris was standing behind her with his hands in his pocket. After he had failed to convince wheeler to get them the number, Fiona stepped in to try.   "I understand you kids want to know his whereabouts and play detective and all that but listen to me, its not my place to give out their information. Moreover if Lesley had gone missing like you are insinuating then that will be all over the local news don't you think?" Wheeler asked.   "So we are waiting till we see his obituary poster is that what you are saying Mr Wheeler......?"   "Miss cooper..."   "No don't 'Miss' me. That boy could be in danger at god knows where and we're just gonna sit back till something bad happens?" Fiona retorted and hand gestured wildly.   Harris was taking back at how his sister could be so fierce. This was wheeler they were talking to. Everyone is supposed to be afraid of him. Well obviously not Fiona.   Wheeler sighed and tapped his pen impatiently on the table. It was 6 am Monday morning and these kids are giving him a stressful day already. He should have stayed home and ate the breakfast his wife made him. Maybe that would have made him escape the wrath of these two adamant teenagers who wouldn't take no for an answer. Harris stood behind his wild sister with his hands neatly tucked in his pockets. Wheeler knew if Harris had come alone and he had said no the boy would just nod and take his exit. But then there was his fiery junior sister whom well...... You've had a taste.   "So?" Fiona inquired with raised brows glancing down expectantly at the principal.   "Well maybe there's something I can do..." Wheeler sighed giving up. He pulled out a file and wrote something from it down onto a piece of paper. "Here." He stretched out his hand and passed it to Fiona. "They gave me this address to give it out if anyone asked of them and its an emergency. From the way you're giving me hell this early morning I think that will pass as an emergency." Wheeler mumbled the last part repositioning his saucers of a spectacles. Can someone remind him again why he wanted to be principal?   "Well thank you so much." Fiona smiled so sweetly that wheeler in turn got creeped out. "We will come to you if we need any more favours." She smiled a thooty grin making the older man internally cringe.   They left wheelers office with the address and a big smile on Fiona's face. "We got it!" She pumped her fist in the air.   Harris shook his head and smiled, "No. You got it. I was standing there like a pathetic loser."   "You don't know how happy you admitting that makes me feel." Fiona snorted.   "Yh whatever." He snorted too.   They made plans to meet after school and follow up on the address. As much as Harris knew a miracle wouldn't happen, he kind of wished Lesley would appear in school that day. They both had math class Monday mornings. Funny how weeks ago he was dreading to see Lesley in class. He silently prayed the dark haired boy would show up that day.   Lesley didn't.   All through math class harris kept glancing at the door to see if the dark haired boy would barge in. But no.   Suddenly waiting for school to end hasn't been this unbearable. He checked his watch every chance he could to see if it was time yet, but no, time would have moved only by a minute. He will grunt and groan before getting back to what he was doing. Paul who was sitting beside him in class noticed the boy checking his watch every now and then. He knew that behavior too well.   You see before Paul got into juvi he was in gang. They called themselves the The Deadly Tigers. Paul was the youngest member but definitely not the weakling. They robbed banks, traded drugs at arranged places, sniffed a little lean when no one was watching...... Basically everything gang members do and worse. When he was out to make a drug delivery and the client hadn't arrived yet, he got all worked up and nervous and begin to think everything was a setup. He would occasionally check the time trying to decide whether to leave or wait it out.   So as Harris frequently flicked his wrist, there had to be two things involved. Either he couldn't wait for something to end or for something to happen. And it was definitely not the latter because the boy loved maths.   "What got you so worked up?" Paul whispered to Harris looking at him suspiciously.   The boy looked up from his work dazzled, "Who? Me?........ Nothing."   "Dont lie to me cooper. You are terrible at lying." Paul replied.   Harris didn't know whether to take that as a compliment or an insult. "Uhhh..... Thank you?" He said. "I'm serious Paul, there's nothing up."   "Are you sure?"   "Yes."   "Then explain to me why you are flicking your wrist like that. hm?" Paul raised his brows in question.   Harris simply shrugged and went back to his work.   The day continued like that. With Harris occasionally checking the time and Paul giving him suspicious looks. When school finally ended, Harris met Fiona at her car since his own had been confiscated.   "You ready?" Fiona smiled opening her car booth. Harris gave her a confused look.   "Why are you making this sound like an adventure." He asked.   "Because it is." She replied pulling out a black duffel bag onto the bonnet of her car. She opened it to reveal all sort of things only members of the swat team would get their hands on. She pulled out black outfits, black pair of gloves, two electric shockers, one for her and one for Harris. A waist belt to hold mini tear-gases and a palette of pocket knives.   Harris' jaw dropped in shock. He quickly looked around to make sure no one was seeing the stuff, "Where did you get all these stuff from! When did you even get the time to get this??" Harris was so shocked at his sister. Fiona simply shrugged and began putting her attire on.   "Are those even legal?!!" He shouted.   "Shush brother. Don't ask too many questions." She winked.   Harris hadn't still gotten over the shock. He stood there analyzing the stuff. "And why do we even need all these these things!"   Fiona looked at Harris like that was the most absurd question she had ever heard. "Are you kidding me. There's a murderer on the loose and for all we know he could be spying on us now. Moreover we aren't going to just knock and just ask for Mrs. Lingard, we're sneaking in."   Harris shook his head at his paranoid sister, "you're being delusional."   "And you're being careless." She put on her gloves and gave it a small pulling making it echo a light 'thud' as it hit her skin. "Now put on your stuff and let's go."   Harris shook his head, "No Fiona this is crazy."   Fiona gave him a bored look and leaned against her car. "You know what's crazy, the fact that you couldn't wait to go and now you’re being hesitant. Did someone leave the oven on because I can smell chicken."   "I'm not chickening out!"   "Then put on your goddamn stuff and let's go!" Fiona cried.   A loud rattling came from the shrubs behind them. Fiona looked at Harris and asked by miming if anyone else knew of their plans. Harris shook his head not remembering telling anyone.   "Ha!!" Paul suddenly jumped out of the bushes scaring the heaven out of them. Harris gave a very girly screech making Paul fall on his knees with laughter.   "What the f**k Bradley?!!" Harris bellowed obviously annoyed with his dignity flushing down the drain. Paul barely heard him as he continued laughing uncontrollably.   "Oh my god you should have seen your faces!!" Paul tried to speak in between laughs. "Hahaaaaaaha" he cackled on barely catching time to breath.   Fiona deadpanned and kicked herself of the car. "What is it? What do you want Paul." She sighed.   Paul raised his hand up and tried catching his breath which took him almost 10minutes.   "Well I definitely knew something was up!" He spat out grinning satisfiedly. "Tell me, what are you kids up to."   "We aren't up to anything." Harris quickly replied. The whole scene was absurd already.   "Really? She's wearing gloves and latex pants. I wasn't even wearing that when I used to go for operations. So tell me, you guys are in a hidden cartel business?" Paul asked with seriousness.   "And why has everything got to do with drugs with you." Harris scoffed.   Paul simply shrugged and kept glancing between them waiting for his answer.   "We are visiting an old friend okay." Fiona stated.   "No I dont think so." Paul shook his head not believing what he was hearing. "Nobody visits their 'old friend' wearing latex and gloves with a taser in hand."   Harris threw his head back in agony. Maybe he should just tell him what they were up to so they could leave already. It was getting late.   "Ok I'll tell you." Harris began with a sigh. "Well we plan on visiting......"   "We're sneaking in to Lesley's house by electric shocking anyone that crosses our part then stick a pocket knife to his throat and demand an explanation on why he is making my brother feel like s**t!" Fiona ranted.   Harris' eyes swelled into saucers, "Fiona!!"   "What?" She smiled, " we are going lesley hunting. That pretty much sums up everything right?"   "No it doesn't!" He hissed as his cheeks heated up with embarrassment on hearing the latter part of the summary.   "Oh my god that sounds so cool I'm tagging along." Paul grinned not letting this chance of deviant behavior fly by. Moreover it's been a while he did something dangerous and exciting.   "Ok. Just get in the car, its getting late." Fiona deadpanned.   Harris knew Paul and Fiona were only being delusional. They were only going to Lesley's house and ask about him like civilized people. Not crawl up his window and stick pocket knives to his trachea and demand answers. This wasn't game of thrones.   All three teenagers hopped into the car with Paul instantly putting the attire Fiona had brought for Harris on. All through it smiling like a Cheshire cat.   Harris sat silently at the backseat finally giving a real thought to what they were doing. If they get to the house and he met Lesley what would he say? That he was sorry? Where have you been? Have you been eating better? Why did you skip school for a week? Are you coming back?   Harris slowly shut his eyes feeling the nervousness sink in. His palms were getting sweaty again.   What if Lesley was really mad at him? Would he even agree to see him?   A thousand questions followed on why Lesley would gladly not want anything to do with him again. But then Lesley was at fault too right? Maybe if he had treated Harris better in the first place all this wouldn't be happening. But then his obnoxious behavior could be attributed to the impact of his fathers death. Harris had heard people get worked up when they loose a loved one. And this was his dad, Harris didn't know what he would do if he lost his dad. Probably tear his hair of his scalp and jump down the grand canyon.   "We're here!" Fiona's perky voice oozing with excitement terminated Harris' train of thoughts. He looked out the window to see a very isolated ghost house secluded in thornes and bushes. The door hanged by a hinge with weeds crawling all over the wooden abandoned house.   "Wait he lives here!" Harris exclaimed getting out of the car along with Paul and Fiona. There was no way Lesley lived here by any chance.   "Are you sure you got the right address?" Harris asked.   Fiona nodded and pointed to the rusted mail box that had the address engraved in it.   "This just makes everything more exciting!" She bounced not being able to contain her enthusiasm.   Paul nodded grinning at the twist of events. Harris feeling like the only sane person among the trio sighed at their delusion.   "We could be walking right into a trap you guys realize that right?" Harris asked worriedly. They barely paid any attention to him as Paul took the lead with Fiona bouncing up and down behind him.   "Hey!" Harris called after them but the two had already reached the porch.   "You coming captain?" Paul called out to him. Harris threw his head back and groaned audibly,   Yeah f**k it!   "Behind you." He called back making his way into the dilapidated house.        The interior was no better than the exterior. Broken paintings hanged on the wall with cobwebs hanging from every inch of the house. The wooden walls had holes in them with the floor creaking at every step. It had gotten darker now so they all pulled out flashlights Fiona had handed them in the car.   "Maybe we should leave?" Harris whispered staring wildly in the dark.   "No. Lesley's people leaving this address behind means something." Fiona replied. "At least let's go through all the rooms before."   Paul had disappeared around one of the walls keenly taking a look at everything he came by. This was his speciality. Fiona also went around the rooms flipping over whatever furniture she could fine looking for a clue or anything. Harris on the other hand stood his ground not bothering to look anywhere. He was afraid of the dark and the last place he wanted to be was in a run down house.   Harris was at the living room when he heard a loud scream from one of the rooms Fiona had disappeared into. His eyes suddenly opened wide with his heart beat accelerating.   "Fiona!!" He called out just before the girl run out to him with her tail between her legs. She was still screaming her lungs out as she lurched on Harris for protection. Paul suddenly appeared after he had heard Fiona's ear-ripping scream.   "Hey calm down! What's wrong?" Harris asked beginning to pant with fear.   "I saw someone!!" Fiona blurted quivering with fear.   "You saw someone?" Paul asked with a raised brow.   Fiona nodded vigorously trying to even her breathing. Her knees were quivering with fear with her arms clutching onto Harris for dear life.   "How did he look like?" Harris asked feeling his heartbeat accelerate.   "He...he..he..he had on this black hooded long dress I didn't see his face." Fiona panted wildly flashing the torchlight around the area they were standing.   "Are you sure you saw someone?"Paul asked again.   "Yes I saw someone damnit!" She replied and bent over resting her hands on her knees.   Harris looked at Paul who exchanged Harris' confused look.   "I think we should get out of here." Fiona said lifting her head.   "Well its about time." Harris replied leading Fiona out. A few steps for them to reach the door when the door slammed shut.   The trio startled to their bone marrows stood still staring eye wide at the closed door.   "In 3 words I can sum up whats happening now.." Fiona said as her chest heaved rapidly.   "What?" Paul asked clutching so hard unto his torchlight the poor plastic was a pressure away from breaking.   "We are fucked."   Harris was so scared he barely had time to think. He knew coming into this house was a bad idea. He knew it!   "I think I saw a back door when I went around the house." Paul quickly remembered.   "Well let's go then." Fiona replied grabbing Harris and pulling him behind her. They got to the door only to realize it was locked.   "This is just perfect." Harris sighed sarcastically trying to work the locks with his pocket knife. "If somebody had only listened to me we wouldn't be in this dilemma right now."   "Oh so you're blaming me now?" Fiona snapped back resting her hands on her hip.   "Guys..."   "Oh I'm not allowed to? I clearly remember telling you this wasn't a great idea." Harris stopped undoing the lock to give Fiona a dirty look.   "Oh I also clearly remember you being asked if you wanted to come in and you said yes!" Fiona flipped her hair narrowing her eyes on harris.   "Guys........."   "Oh what option did I have? When your controlling ass pulled me into this in the first place." Harris snapped back.   "Oh so it wasn't your idea to go Lesley hunting?!"Fiona fired back.   "Guys!!"   "What?!!!" Fiona and Harris screamed at Paul.   "Look!" Paul lit his flashlight to the hallway. At the far end was what seemed like........   A hooded figure....?   "Is that...."Paul stammered with his heart pounding wildly against his rib cage.   "Oh my fuck..." Fiona stared at the figure. Her knees quivering in fear.   "Wait is it......oh my god its moving!!" Harris screeched.   "Oh no no no its coming!!!" Fiona exclaimed in fear.   "HARRIS HURRY UP!!!!" Paul screamed with his heart pumping 50 pints of blood per second.   "I'm trying!!"   "WELL HURRY!!" Fiona cried out so loud Harris lost his focus and dropped the pocket knife and it fell and slid into a crack on the floor.   "I lost the knife....." Harris stared wide eyed at his now empty hands.   "YOU WHAT??!!!!" Paul bellowed going crazy.   "I lost the goddamn knife!!!"   "Guys its almost here!"  Fiona sobbed rapidly turning around and going crazy.   "Stand aside lemme knock it down." Harris suggested shaking with fear.   He took few steps back and slammed his sides into the door which didn't open. He tried over and over again but it barely barged. He step aside for Paul to try too.   The hooded figure was getting closer and Fiona was wailing now. She had fallen unto the floor crying like a baby.   "I'm going to die....." She wailed on. "Noooo..."   Paul continued to hit and hit.   "Its going to kill all of us..." She wept sniffing and smearing her mascara. "At least dont eat our organs. Please sell it for transplant and give the money to needy kids."   "Shut up Fiona!!" Harris and Paul shouted getting freaked out by Fiona's death talking.   Both boys joined forces and hit the door before it finally shattered open. Fiona was the first to jump through screaming 'ladies first'. The trio didn't even look back, they run outside down the driveway so fast they forgot they even came with a car.   "f**k we forgot the car!" Harris groaned.   "Let's just go!" Fiona sniffed clutching unto her stomach."   "No we are going back for it." Paul turned around running back. Harris followed him after taking the keys from Fiona. Fiona wasn't ready to die so she stayed behind.   After some few minutes the boys drove the car up to where Fiona was. Not wasting a second she quickly jumped in.   "So much for Deadly Tiger.." Fiona mocked Paul's former gang name.   "More like deadly cat." Harris snickered. "I can't believe that just happened."   "Well cheer up, the worst is yet to come." Paul said staring wide eyed at the rearview mirror.   "What do you mean?" Fiona asked.   "Look....." Paul pointed outside. A few meters behind their car was the hooded figure they had narrowly escaped from.   "f**k!....go go go!!!" Harris screamed. Paul quickly started up the car and careened down the driveway like the devil himself was after them.T
