Just a touch of your love is enough to knock me up on my feet all week
Little mix- Touch

Bright rays of the morning sun beamed into the room. The storm had cleared and the sun was as high and bright as ever.
Harris blinked adjusting to the morning light. He glanced around him to find himself on Lesley's bed. Events of last night came flooding into his memories as the boy jolted up in search of Lesley.
At the far corner of the bedroom in a in a cushioned armchair sat Lesley. He had a newspaper in hand and a mug of coffee in the other. He had crossed his legs with his unwavering gaze fixated on Harris.
"Good morning." Lesley said bringing the mug to his lips to take a sip. His eyes never left Harris.
Harris stared back at him with his mouth slightly falling open. He was trying to put together what was happening.
"Hey...." He replied with his tone sounding confused.
"You sleep quiet a lot for a caretaker.." Lesley mumbled with a pout putting his mug down beside one he had prepared for Harris on the coffee table. "Aren't you supposed to be the doctor."
Harris run his hands over his face feeling embarrassed.
"I'm sorry I slept. Are you feeling better." He asked worriedly getting up from the bed and shuffling off. Last night had crept the hell out off him.
"Why are you apologizing..." Lesley asked.
He was most grateful for what Harris had done for him yesterday.
Waking up and seeing the syringe on the floor he knew he had had one of his episodes. He found Lesley asleep in a chair with his head on his chest snoring softly. He had gotten up quietly in order not to wake him up and lifted him unto the bed. Harris was sleeping so deeply he barely shuffled.
Lesley had majestically laid him down and pulled the covers around him hovering over Harris in admiration. He had to restrain himself from pecking Harris on the lips. He had looked so beautiful in his sleep....
"I shouldn't have slept like that......" Harris sighed blaming himself. He remembered how he had confessed to Lesley about liking his eyes and telling him they were beautiful. His cheeks instantly flushed and he run his fingers over his face and peeped through his fingers at Lesley.
Lesley frowned placing his paper down and walking up to Harris.
"Hey.." He whispered drawing Harris palms from his face. This revealed the deep shade of red blush on Harris' cheeks. A wave of sensation swept through Lesley knowing he was the cause of the blush...
right?
"I'm so grateful for what you did for me yesterday." Lesley said looking at Harris directly with a gaze that held so much emotion.
Words couldn't describe how grateful and thankful he was off Harris.
"I put you through a lot and I'm so sorry," Lesley cast his gaze on the ground. "I get quiet crazy when the attacks happen." Lesley smiled a little.
Harris nodded affirming to what Lesley had said with a laugh.
"Quite crazy huh..." He snorted.
Lesley laughed, "what? Wasn't crazy enough?"
Harris rolled his eyes sighing, "If you ever scare me like that again trust me Lesley, I'll kill you myself right after the attack." Harris joked.
"So I scared you huh..." Lesley smirked.
Harris slowly closed his eyes not even bothering to argue with Lesley. There was no need arguing about that.
"Yes. Yes you scared me you dipshit." Harris hissed.
Lesley laughed not realizing the seriousness of the matter to Harris.
But Harris wasn't bothered Lesley was making fun off him. He was just glad the boy was up and kicking again. He'll just consider his obnoxious personality as an unwanted side effect that came with the package. He could deal with that.
Suddenly Harris remembered it was a school day and they had to present the project before 8 am. His eyes swelled into saucers on the realization.
"Fucckkk!!" Harris groaned running to the desk. "f**k. f**k. f**k. f**k. f**k. f**k. f**k. Fuck." He cussed flipping through the books to find the paper he had spent all night working on.
"Are you looking for the project?" Lesley asked sitting on the edge of the bed looking amused.
Harris whirled around to face him.
"Yes! Have you seen it? We were supposed to turn it in at 8. Oh s**t. s**t. Shit." Harris groaned whirling around to the desk again.
"What's the time?!" He inquired.
Lesley glanced at the clock and smiled, "Its 11 am."
"What?!!" Harris screeched frantically glancing at the clock. "Nooo.." He grunted and slumped into a chair.
He realized how all his efforts had been for nothing. Now they had to face wheeler again. Harris grunted cussing again.
He looked at Lesley to find the boy smiling from the foot of the bed. Harris frowned. He thought Lesley was either crazy or maybe the drugs were giving him side effects. How can you smile when you just missed the deadline for your project?
"And why are you smiling." Harris scoffed with a creased brow.
Lesley merely shrugged, "Maybe I turned the work in.."
Harris quickly sat up. "When?"
"Peter came around and I made him take it to school for us. I called wheeler and confirmed it had been turned in."
Harris opened his mouth perplexed,
"I was going crazy searching for the paper and you didn't bother to tell me you turned it in......"
Lesley shrugged again, "Well you never asked."
"Oh god..." Harris deadpanned trying to keep his cool. He stood up and released a deep breath staring lasers at Lesley,
"I hate you." He muttered and began storming his way out of the room.
"Hey wait!" Lesley called after him laughing. He shot up from the bed and followed Harris who was storming his way to the kitchen.
"Harris..." Lesley called at him smiling at the boys hilarious excuse of an anger.
"Hey...."
Harris kept storming of with a very pissed off expression and not even glancing back. Lesley always took everything as a joke.
"Harris come on....." Lesley giggled after him. He managed to get hold of his wrist and whirled him around.
"Hey I'm sorry..." Lesley apologized looking down at him. Unfortunately Lesley was one of those people who couldn't control their laughter at serious moments. Even though he was apologizing, his face had this glow that made Harris think he was only mocking him more.
"No you're not." Harris fumed and pulled his hand away storming his way to the refrigerator.
Lesley watched him not knowing what else to say for Harris to genuinely believe he was actually sorry. Lesley was sorry, but seeing Harris getting all angry and cute with a pout on his lips was hard not to smile at. Lesley couldn't help but burst out laughing again.
In as much as Harris wanted to tolerate Lesley that morning, the boy was seriously getting on his nerves. Harris shot him a dirty look as he heated his steak in the microwave. He leaned against the island table with folded arms and a frown plastered on his face and waiting for his food to heat up which did in no time. Not wasting any time, he quickly pulled it out and started digging into it at the table.
All through it Lesley stared at him not wanting to say anything to piss Harris off further. He couldn't get the smile on his face to disappear. For Pete's sake Harris was acting too cute!
Harris coughed and quickly grabbed a glass of water taking a long drag.
"Are you choking?" Lesley asked with concern.
Harris put the glass down not minding him.
"Did you just choke on meat?" Lesley asked.
Harris raised his head glaring at him, "I can choke on meat when I want." He narrowed his eyes at Lesley. He put the water to his lips for another sip.
Lesley's brows quickly lit in amusement,
"So you like to choke on meat?" He grinned pervertly.
A jet of water sprayed from Harris' mouth as the boy coughed repetitively and embarrassingly staring eye wide at Lesley. His cheeks had turned the deepest shade of red ever known to man.
"It was just a question Harris....." Lesley said grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Harris covered his face with both of his palms totally flushed and flustered. He took a slow breath biting hard on his lip.
Lesley realized how flustered Harris had gotten. He decided to make things more interesting, heat things up.
Lesley sauntered his way to Harris at the table and slowly leaned on it looking at the boy directly in his eyes. He seductively pulled his lower lip between his teeth and slowly, a languid smile crept unto his lips.
Harris wasn't sure what Lesley was doing but it sure was working. Looking at the dark haired boy who had his lower lip between his teeth, a sizzling heat and sensation stirred in his groin. Harris struggled to keep his composure.
Lesley released his lip and leaned a bit closer to Harris. Harris' eyes widened at how close they were, he could literally hear his own heart beating.
Lesley leaned closer till he could literally see the opening of Harris' pupils and a sly smile appeared on Lesley's lips making the boys heart melt.
"Remember what you said last night.." Lesley whispered with his voice laced in a purr.
Harris' breath got caught in his throat remembering his confession last night. He swallowed down the tingles electrifying his throat.
"What?," Lesley smiled lightly. "Reminiscing?"
Harris unconsciously licked his lips in panic. The heat stirring in his groins got hotter and he was scared little Harris would stir up to life.
Lesley was turning him on in more ways than one. His cheeks were flushed, his pupils were dilated and the stir in his groins was on a whole new dimension of turned on.
"Lesley..." Harris released a shaky breath silently praying the boy would quiet his games. He had become very flustered and he knew Lesley was feeding on that to tease and make fun of him.
"Huh?" Lesley purred with the evident smile still creeping on his lips. "You said my eyes were beautiful..."
"Get over your self." Harris quickly replied so Lesley would quiet his games. This in turn made Lesley only smile wider.
Lesley laughed lightly at Harris' poor attempt of getting him to quit. He raised his hand and brushed a band of hair that had fallen into Harris' eyes and run his hand down his face to his chin. Lesley lifted Harris' chin up still not terminating the unwavering gaze he had on him.
"What are you doing....." Harris whispered closely watching Lesley's every move.
Lesley smiled, "I want you to see them at a closer look." He replied cockily. He was intentionally teasing Harris to know the boys breaking point.
Lesley wanted Harris, really bad. But here was the thing where Lesley was afraid Harris was straight and might reject him. But then he was also holding unto the thin thread of hope, hope that Harris might.... Just might like him a bit.
And maybe this was his way of testing to see if Harris was really straight. Harris kept getting flustered at Lesley's least teasing actions which was fueling Lesley's hope.
Then, even if Harris may be straight, someway somehow he might have some feelings for him. Lesley was afraid he was going to get rejected.
Lesley was afraid of many things. He was afraid his heart would break. He knew he was going to get broken if Harris rejected him. Completely shattered.
But then Harris had said his eyes were beautiful. Straight boys dont tell other boys they had beautiful eyes. And the way Harris had hugged him after his episode last night,
well straight boys don't hug like that.
They don't trail their fingers through your hair when hugging you, They dont nuzzle their nose in your neck when hugging you, They don't pull your body so close. They dont cry when they see you unconscious......
Harris glared at Lesley, turning away from his beautiful- he meant poopy eyes. Yeah, they looked like poop. Not a chocolate brown super sexy color filled with determination. No, it looks like poop.
"Why do my 'chocolate brown super sexy' eyes look like s**t to you?" Lesley asked chuckling with amusement.
Harris' eyes widened in realization that he might have thought that out loud. He hurriedly brushed Lesley's hand away and grabbed his plate storming off to the sink.
Lesley grinned and stood up straight.
"Harris come on...."
"Leave me alone." The boy snapped back.
"I'm apologizing.."
"Well then stop if you mean your apology." Harris whirled around facing Lesley with an evident frown on his face.
"Stop what exactly?..." Lesley asked feigning ignorance.
Stop flirting with me! Harris screamed in his mind wishing he could say that out loud. But then voicing it meant he was admitting Lesley was flirting, and he didn't want Lesley thinking that Harris was admitting he was flirting with him.
Just then Harris' cell phone blared and he fished in his pockets to find it. He hasn't called home since yesterday so he thought it might be his dad.
He looked on the screen to see an unknown number calling. With an unsure look, he pressed the answer button.
"Hello?" Harris said wondering who it might be.
"Hey Harris! Its me, Darcy." The girls perky voice resonated in the phone. "I didn't see you in chemistry class today and it got me wondering why you missed school. Is everything okay? Are you sick?"
"No, no Darcy I'm fine. Something came up that's all."
At the mention of Darcy Lesley's eyes quickly shot up.
"Oh. So you'll be in school tomorrow then?" She asked on the phone.
Harris nodded, "yeah sure, pretty much."
"Okay. Just making sure you're okay."
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Great. Because we've been paired for this chemistry assignment and I honestly dont wanna do it alone." She chuckled.
"Really?" Harris raised his brows.
"Tell me about it. So please do make sure you come around tomorrow okay?" She chipped up.
"Yeah. Yeah sure. See you tomorrow then." Harris pursed his lips to a thin line.
"Of course. Have a great day." She concluded with excitement. "Bye then."
"Bye." Harris ended the call looking up at Lesley. Lesley's mood had suddenly changed from his beaming face to a hurtful look.
Harris uncomfortably cleared his throat and darted his eyes around the room. His phone beeped again and pulled it out to see a message from Fiona asking him to 'bring his ass home now'.
Fiona asking him to come home meant she didn't go to school and something was up.
"I... I have to go." Harris mumbled pulling the hoodie tighter around his thin frame. Lesley lightly nodded avoiding eye contact.
Harris swallowed, "See you in school then."
Lesley gave a nod once again. Slowly, Harris stepped away from the sink and made his way out of the kitchen. He stopped at the door turning to glance at Lesley one more time before heaving and taking his leave.
Suddenly stepping out of Lesley's house felt so foreign and out of place. Like he belonged in there. Harris drew out a deep sigh and glanced back one more time before getting in his car and speeding off.
