Chapter Sixteen Cogent placed a call on his cell phone to Ralph Henry. Henry's wife informed Cogent that Henry had not arrived home from work yet. She suggested that Cogent try him at the office. Cogent thanked her and hung up. Henry was putting in long hours on the new job. Henry wasn't familiar with the area yet, and it was taking him longer to complete his work. Cogent didn't want to take a chance on the Sheriff answering or finding out that he and Henry had been talking. He would wait and call him at home later in the evening.
