Chapter Thirty-Seven Cogent arose from his slumber the next morning. His alarm clock had not gone off yet, and he glanced at the time. It was four-thirty in the morning. He reached over and shut off the button to the alarm and sat up on the bed. Cogent had finally managed to get restful sleep and was ready to face the day ahead. He wanted to speak to Lottie Johnson today and finish up the details of the report so that he could get it turned in to Court Dexter. Cogent stretched his arms up in the air and finally stood up from the side of the bed. He put on the coffee as usual and got dressed.
