Chapter Thirty-Eight
Ralph Henry sat at his desk at the Sheriff's department, perusing through the mountain of papers. He suddenly heard the loud slam of a door. The Sheriff had just found out about the front-page headlines. Henry jumped as the noise startled him. He could hear the Sheriff going into his tirade. Henry got up and closed the door to his office. He wanted no part of this! The Sheriff was ranting and raving. The entire station was abuzz. Everyone could hear the loud roar of the Sheriff's voice. Finally, the noise stopped.
