I am miserable and cranky when I wake up. Sleeping alone in this bed was sheer torture. Even the few times I did manage to fall asleep, I was partially aware that I am not happy. Now I am tired and moody and it's only daybreak. I grunt and mumble the whole time as I get myself ready for the day and make my way down the stairs for breakfast. Cora is already there and by the way she is massacring that poor bagel; I know she had the same night as me. “What a horrible morning,” I mumble as I take a seat and help myself to some muesli. “Agree,” Cora grunts. “I blame Lauren.” “Damn, aren’t you two just a ray of sunshine,” Piper grins as she takes a seat. “It’s times like these that I’m so grateful I haven’t found my mate.” “Yeah, but it’s soooo good when he’s here and I wake up next to him
