Chapter Fifteen
Captain Nakos’s dark face turned grey. “Cynthia?”
“Shadow, Father. Leader of the Crawlspacers. And I have your ship.”
The Captain’s face went from grey to purple in an instant. “Cynthia, I demand you surrender the control room at once!” He turned and shouted to someone, “Get those men back in the corridor! I want those kids out of there!”
“In thirty seconds, that corridor is going to be hard vacuum,” Shadow said coldly.
The Captain faced her. “You won’t do it. Not with unprotected Crew out there. You’ve known those men and women all your life. You were a cadet with some of them. They’re your friends!”
