KELLEN’S POV I was never really one to fancy arcades because of how obnoxiously loud they tend to be. The loudness wasn’t the only thing that bothered me, the flashing lights took the cake. Lights flashed over me as we walked into the arcade. Green, red, blue, neon pink, each colour muddling together. Music blared from the gaming machine, students' laughter echoed through the entire building. People were littered everywhere, bodies packed in each corner and rows in the arcade. Despite the music and noise that filled the air, it did nothing to quench the anger that was humming in my veins. Lucien and I walked a bit further into the arcade and my heart stopped when I saw them. Eira stood beside Aldric. Her hair was loose, falling in soft waves with her eyes shining under the neon lights
