Chapter Eight

Eira's POV “Beautiful, selfless and caring, my foot,” I said, throwing the cool water on my face. As I stared into the mirror in the restroom, I could see the way the princes had stared at me in the most condescending manner ever. Especially Kellan, that bastard just looked at me like I'm not even a human being at all. It's funny that they think that Aria is the victim. I thought of telling them about how she seduced Ares but no… I think it would be fun if they find out her true self by themselves. My fingers gripped the edges of the counter tightly. What if Aria really throws me out of college? Oh.. f**k, I can't let that happen. Just then my phone beeped on the counter and it was a message from Ares. What is it again with this bastard? Did he want us to continue from where we stopped earlier? I wiped my hand dry, grabbed the phone and unlocked it. “We would have to lay low for now because of those asshole princes that are here and on my tail. No one should know about our relationship.” I rubbed my eyes to be sure If what I was reading was correct or maybe it was just the desperation in my mind that was playing fast one on me. When I looked at the screen again, I was indeed reading correctly. “Oh moon,” I screamed happily, leaping in the air. Finally… that asshole won't disturb me for a while. At least half of my problem has been solved. Ares must really be scared of the princes, isn't he? Just then, the door flew open. I shrieked in fear and snapped my head back to see the princes strolling in like they owned the place. My chest roared loudly in my ears. I pressed my back and hand to the counter and swallowed hard as their gaze landed on me. Kellan's gaze was hard and intimidating as always—one would think I had betrayed him before in his first life. I can't help but feel that he hated me for reasons I don't know. Lucien's gaze was soft, unravelling me bit by bit. His eyes dropped to my exposed thighs and I felt goosebumps appearing there. “Wh—at are you doing here?” I asked, my voice trembling slightly and I wondered why I'm this tense. “Have you come here to keep my lips sealed?” Lucien scoffed. “It seems like our drinking princess is such a scary kitten, isn't she?” “Princess?” Kellan repeated and laughed. “You falter her too much, Lucien. She is nothing but a troublesome bully.” I gritted my teeth. “I'm not a bully. Your sister is the one who wouldn't let me be.” “Spare me those lectures. You are the one who is jealous of our sister. We know you weren't tutoring back there with her mate. You guys were making out. Did you want to seduce her mate because you are jealous she is engaged to such an influential prince.” Anger flashed in my eyes. “Excuse me!” I snapped. “We were tutoring,” I lied with a straight face because it's even shameless to say it out that I'm my ex-mate little secret. “It's fine if you don't believe me.” I snatched my phone from the counter. “But, I won't let you talk down on me or judge me unjustly.” I started walking towards the door and Lucien grabbed my wrists. f**k… his fingers were like fire—causing heat to ripple through my skin and desires pooled beneath me. Yt, I never wanted him to let me go. “I don't care what is going on between you and Ares.” Lucien's voice sent cold shivers down my spine. “But I advise you to stop it right now. He belongs to our sister and if she ever gets hurt because of you… you will realise that I'm more ruthless than Kellan.” Of course, I know he would be more dangerous. Gentle men like him don't talk much—instead, they act. “Is that all?” I sneered, snatching my wrist away from him. “You don't have to worry because there is nothing between us.” I took a step to walk out of the room, but Kellan's voice stopped me. “And one more thing.” Kellan stepped closer to me. “You shouldn't tell anyone about what you saw yesterday.” I rolled my eyes, frustrated and exhausted to the core. I opened my mouth to tell them I won't speak about it to anyone since I don't care about whatever they do anyway... but then, a thought slammed into me. Ares was scared of the twins to the extent that he was willing to give up on my cunt for a while. Aria doesn't want her brothers to know about her too. If I strike a deal with them—maybe—just maybe, I might be able to break free from Ares' control, get back to the team and stay in college. Of course, they are that powerful to make it all happen. My lips curled into a smile at how smart I'm placing the pieces together. Oh… Eira. “Understood?” He growled. I folded my arms across my chest and looked up at him. “No… I don't understand.” His eyes narrowed. “What?!” “Actually I have a condition,” I said like it was the most natural thing in the world. “Condition?” Lucien repeated, confused. “Yes!” I hesitated but when I remembered Aria's threats, I regained my confidence. “I will keep quiet if one of you can get into a fake relationship with me and also get me back into the women's ice hockey team.” I locked my gaze with Lucien, who was staring at me as if I had suddenly grown two heads. “I would prefer you instead, because the idea of getting into a fake relationship with him makes me cringe.” “You are crazy,” Kellan spat. I nodded frantically. “Yes! I'm crazy!” I screamed out. “You are both making me crazy! Everyone in this school is making me crazy! The fact that I'm losing everything is making me crazy!” I let out a loud maniac laugh. The both of them didn't say a word, but just stared at me for a long moment before Lucien scoffed. “You can't be serious.” “I'm damn serious!” I affirmed. “It is just a fake relationship—you can continue with whatever you have with him.” Then I threatened them. “But if you don't agree, I will make sure to tell the whole school about your relationship…. Every. Single. Detail. Especially the way you moan as Kellan took your c**k in his mouth.” Before I could blink, Kellan wrapped his hands around my neck and pushed me against the wall. “You b***h!”
