Two months later

Jackson and I had gotten closer and he even asked me to be his girlfriend which I accepted. No girl on earth will ever refuse the proposal of her secret crush. I told him all what had happened to me like the struggling and hustling and I must confess he has been of great help to me.

It was weekend, Isabel and I had finished cleaning our tiny apartment. Big sis! Big sis!! Isabel screamed with my phone in her hand. Yes medell what is it? I asked her. Your bf is calling. she said with a smirk.

Isabel. I called in a scolding voice.

Don't deny it sis, you and I know about it. she said. She's really annoying.

Okay just give me the phone. She handed it over smiling. Hello darling. I said through the receiver.

Hi. came his voice.

We discussed and he decided to come over of which I agreed then I hung up the call. Big sis Angie got a cute and handsome boyfriend who is intelligent too, you both make a perfect couple. Isabel sang till I chased her around the little apartment we were occupying.

We heard a knock on the door, Isabel rushed to check who it was.

Big sis. she called in whisper. It's your bf. she alerted me.

Oh my...... I rushed into the room to put on something better. He mustn't meet me in this kind of lazy outfit. I could hear Isabel giggling, looks like she already let him in. I got a nice gown which mother bought for me on my sweet sixteenth birthday. It's still so beautiful, I put it on and went back to the sitting room. I met Jackson standing with Isabel still giggling. I was turning rosy red, I couldn't stop blushing with one million butterflies in my belly.

Welcome. I said shyly. He smiled and came close, then he gave me a hug and a kiss on my forehead. I smiled shyly and looked at Isabel without saying anything and she disappeared out of sight.

Do have a seat. I said with courtesy. Thank you. he responded. I sat opposite him so we could talk better. What is your plan for the weekend? he asked. Well nothing much, still trying my best in getting back my parents' properties from their greedy friends. I replied.

Hmm, Angie if you need help don't hesitate to call me or talk to me about it. You know if I hadn't let you into my life I wouldn't have understood the true meaning of happiness no matter the cozy and luxurious life I'm living. He said staring intently at me.

Yeah, exactly. I promise not to keep things away from you.

That's cool, he said. When last have you heard from your friend? He asked. You mean Janelle? I asked back. Yes, Janelle. He responded. Well, it's been a long while I had since heard from her. I replied. Indeed, I miss Janelle since I lost my contact. I couldn't get to her again and I had forgotten to write down her phone number in my address book.

I wish she was here to see a dream come true. Hellooo. he said, waking me out of my thoughts. Daydreaming again? he asked while smiling. He looked cute, and I'm sure I will never want that smile to leave his face. No, I am not daydreaming, I responded quickly. What can I offer you so I can quickly prepare it? I asked changing the topic almost immediately anything you feel is okay for me. he replied trying to get hold of my left hand. What is it again I asked turning around just to find two icy blue eyes staring deeply into mine i just gazed down not knowing what to do. Stop the eye contact Jackson. I pleaded that and tried to turn away but he held onto my hand and said "no matter what happens or comes your way, I will be right here with you standing by your side so don't hide things from me.okay?"

I nodded in agreement and we hugged I got caught in a tight hug it is really warm to be hugged by someone you love.

A week later

Jackson invited me to go with him to his parents' house. It was during break after the History class with Mr Benjamin our funny history teacher. I'm not really the type that frequently goes out for breaks alone unless I have a company to join me.

Jackson came into the class with his friends. Hi...They greeted. I waved back while Jackson approached me. How's everything going with you? he asked.

Well I think it's better than before. I replied. Hmm...Angie my cupcake would you like to come with me? he asked.

Uhn? go with you to where? I asked, curious. He leaned closer to me and smiled, then whispered to me in my ear "My parents' house." I almost choked. How could he invite me to his house especially now that I am not measuring up to his standard?

Uhm....but....wait. I kept playing on my words, I didn't know what to say. Sweetheart, they anticipate your visit and have prepared in place everything for you. he responded with a grin.

Jackson must be crazy for saying such but why does he suddenly want me to meet his parents? I asked in my head.

For them to see my new bride. Jackson replied starring at me. Oh s**t! how did you know what I was thinking? I asked him surprised. He whispered in my ear "It is because you think aloud like an Adjhuma." I laughed out loud and faced him. "What do you mean by Adjhuma?" I asked. You don't know? he asked with a puzzled face. No, I don't. came my reply. Well it actually means old woman in Korean. He said with a giggle.

What?! so you called me an old woman. I said feigning anger.

Come on red bean. He said patting my back. Is that supposed to be a new name for me? I asked with a raised eyebrow.

Yes because it suits you. he said enjoying the truancy he was playing at. I don't know what to do to you. I said and in a jiffy I landed a punch on his shoulder.

Ouch! he groaned. That serves you right. I said and stormed out of the class.

Wait. I heard him scream behind me. I never hesitated to keep going when I felt a strong grip on my hand. I stopped and turned around and saw this jerk's grip on my hand. Red bean did you have to do that? he asked with his two icy blue eyes staring wild at me. I tried to turn away but our faces was closer now and I could feel his warmth all over my face. Without warning his lips landed on mine and had claimed them. Oh wow! so they are really couples, awwwn, I wish he was mine.... blah blah blah...... I could hear comments from other students who were watching. I've never felt the way I felt before. I must confess that my feelings are true.

Jack...son. I called out slowly between the kiss. Uhn. he voiced.

People are watching. I said trying to release myself from the kiss. He stopped and looked into my eyes and said "let them look till they are tired for it is only you I love." Really? I asked with my eyes almost popping out. Yeah. he said taking my hands in his and squeezing them lightly.

Awwwn. that escaped from my mouth. Red bean will you come with me to my parents'? he asked again.

Although, I was nervous but I felt secured with Jackson and so I decided to go with him. Yes I'll go with you. I said and ruffled his hair playfully. Uhm, then we should prepare. he said grabbing me by the waist. Geez jerk at least for once beware of the crowd before grabbing me like that. I said cautiously. Suit yourself red bean. he said and grabbed my waist even harder. I squeaked. You are really a jerk. I protested. For you. he added.
