Eva allowed herself to fully embrace the comfort of her pack, feeling a renewed sense of hope and determination. "Kayden," Dave began, leaning back in his chair, "we can't underestimate Grant's determination. We need to consider every possible scenario and have contingencies in place."

Kayden nodded, his expression serious. "I agree, Dave. Grant has always been ambitious, but his recent actions have shown a level of ruthlessness we haven't seen before. We must stay one step ahead of him."

Dave tapped his fingers on the desk, his mind working furiously. "We need to gather as much information as possible. Are there any potential allies within Grant's group that we could sway to our side? Any weaknesses we can exploit?"

Kayden rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I don't have any slightest idea of a weakness we can draw out of Grant and his men but unlike any pack they are bound to not be all powerful. I can find something soon. I need to do more digging,"

Kayden nodded solemnly, his piercing blue eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation."Their plan is to use Eva as a pawn, hoping to overthrow you and take control of the park."

A wave of anger and protectiveness surged through Dave's veins. Eva was his mate, his reason for fighting. He clenched his fists, determined to keep her safe. "We can't let that happen, Kayden. Eva is the key to our unity, and we must ensure her safety. Grant will stop at nothing to achieve his goals."

Kayden's voice was firm, laced with loyalty. "I suggest we increase the defence within the pack. We need more eyes and ears, more patrols. Let's establish a strong network of guards who can protect Eva and alert us of any suspicious activities."

Dave nodded in agreement, his mind racing with strategies. "Agreed, that's a good idea. We'll need to organise a meeting and rally the pack. We'll explain the situation and urge them to stay vigilant. Grant may have followers, but we have unity in our pack.

A smile tugged at the corners of Dave's mouth. "Eva is a force to be reckoned with. Grant may see her as a pawn, but we know she's so much more. I think it's time we involve her directly in our discussions. She deserves to have a voice in the decisions that affect her."

Kayden's eyes gleamed with approval. "You're right. Eva has shown incredible resilience and strength. Including her will not only strengthen our strategy but also remind Grant that she's not easily manipulated."
