LUCAS’ POV
Selene was finally here, and I could tell I was the only one who was happy about it. That wasn’t a surprise, the wolves in my pack…especially female wolves had never hidden the fact that they didn’t like having Selene here. Of course they tried to hide it and said most things behind my back but I knew the truth. I knew that this was all because of the way I had been speaking about her in the beginning. I had made them like this, even if they hadn't accepted her when she first got here they would have eventually accepted her if I had treated her with some respect and showed them that she was the one chosen for me and that I accepted her.
Everyone else seemed wary of her. Suspicious. Of course, Selene didn’t realize it—but I did. They didn’t see the bigger picture. T
