SELENE’S POV Being around Lucas had become easier than it was when I first met him in person. He was easy going and understating, he made jokes and listened to me when I spoke about things that bothered me. This was a breath of fresh air from what I was used to back in Dante's pack house. I felt relieved that I was finally in a place where we could just sit and talk. Where I could lie in his arms comfortably without even feeling like I needed permission to do so.
