SELENE’S POV
I didn’t confront him, I didn’t have the heart to and I was too scared to. That was the first decision I made after the truth settled into my bones. For the first time, I felt enlightened, I finally saw things for what they were. I no longer had doubts about the decisions I had made, I was certain that I had made the wrong choice and there was no doubt about that. Dante was right and there was no doubt about that, however that didn’t mean that I felt like I was better off with him. What Lucas had done to me didn’t make Dante an angel. However he was the lesser evil because at least I knew that he didn’t have it in him to put me in danger.
