After everything that I had learned about Lucas, I decided to focus only on myself. I decided that I was going to get myself out of this situation just as I had gotten myself in it. I had made the choice to leave Dante for Lucas not knowing that I was jumping from the frying pan right into the fire. Back then, Lucas was like a breath of fresh air for me. He seemed to be everything that Dante wasn’t and that was in a good way. But now I was realizing that he may have been worse than Dante. I felt like I had burnt the bridge with Dante, if he didn’t hold any ill feelings for me he would have rescued me when he sensed that I was in trouble while in his pack. He would have followed us and tried to rescue me the moment he realize that I was hurt and in need of help. But he didn’t
