SELENE’S POV
After Lucas came back from his walk in the woods he told me he wanted to talk to me about something. I already knew that he probably wanted to talk about what I had told him earlier but there was nothing I could do about the way I was feeling. He had already told me that breaking the mate bond was a bad idea and I didn’t have the energy to talk about that with him anymore, I just wanted to go to bed.
However, I was caught off guard by what he wanted to discuss with me. I initially thought that he would want to try to convince me that breaking the bond was going to hurt me but instead he suggested something completely different.
