Things between me and Selene were progressing much faster and better than I thought they would. So far everything was playing out just the way I had planned it and without a glitch. I had never been this patient in my life, but then again, come to think of it I had been nothing but patient when it came to dealing with Dante. When I first started this, my first plan was to make sure that she trusted me so much that even when the truth hit her in the face she wouldn’t see it. I cant count how many times I had felt like I was close to being exposed, and yet, each time Selene had chosen my words over reality.
A part of me did feel bad for what I was doing and the fact that she was going to be collateral damage in a war that had absolutely nothing to do with her. She didn’t deserve
