It seemed things had could down in the pack and for some reason I felt like these rogue wolves now had some kind of respect for me now that Lucas had given me this temporary mark. I did wonder if they knew it was temporary, I couldn’t help wondering what he had told them but I guess that didn’t matter. What mattered was the fact that they were finally going to treat me like I was a part of them and maybe Scarlet would finally start showing me some respect.
Having things go well ffor me here didn’t overshadow everything else that I was feeling inside.
