Queen of Hungaria

Thirty minutes have passed, I think, and we have not reached our destination. It would have been a good idea to ask Fiona what the destination was, as this kingdom, which is said to be very rich in natural resources and magic. As we were still talking about magic, I decided to do something that would make our time go by faster. I'll check out some new spells in my beginner spellbook. I realized something. I never saw the spell on page one of two hundred and fifty. That spell, whose name is Mississippi Queen. It says in the book: "This is not quite powerful. The spell can make an affected one feel like a man who has drunk like twenty beers and eighteen wines in just one swallow". After I read that, my curiosity wanted to try this on myself, but I decided not to do this because I don't want the same thing that happened a few days ago with those bandits. After reading that spell, I began to turn the pages of that book fairly quickly because half of the two hundred and fifty already know them a bit, both in name and handling. After a few moments, I closed the book, put it back, and looked at the windows of the carriage I was in to guard those goods. As I looked out the window I noticed only trees that looked older than me, stones that were carved in different shapes and I noticed something else, a bear walking. That bear was not close to us, but I could see it walking through the bushes and hitting them because of its size. After not seeing that bear, I returned to my place where a person has to stay when travelling by carriage and has to wait until he reaches the desired destination. "I'm bored," I said to myself while I looked at my wand. "I can't practice spelling because I'm afraid I could fail this mission and destroy the goods by mistake.". So, I can't do spell practice or leave the carriage, so the only thing I could do is to sleep, which is a good idea because last night Fiona didn't let me sleep alone like I was supposed to do. I take the position I take when I have to sleep in bed and start doing the exercise I did before so I can sleep faster and sleep for a time. I hold my breath for about a minute, then exhale for five seconds, after which I begin to hold my breath again until I fall asleep. It didn't take long and I fell asleep just like a man who was hit by thousands of arrows on a battlefield. While I was asleep, I had the same dream I had at the Orphanage but this time, it was different. When I had that dream, I hadn't seen the face of that man with those two weird staff, but in this one, I didn't see the face, just his staff beard was long and white, meaning that person was really old. Still to this day, I have no idea what this dream means and I hope the meaning will be a good one. After a few minutes, the carriage suddenly stopped moving, which made me feel like that thing. I fell asleep and woke up after I woke up on some boxes. I looked around and panicked, but there was nothing in the carriage. After a few seconds, Fiona opened the door of the carriage and said to me. "Come on, boy! We have some things to clean up." "Alright," I responded after I took my wand and went with Fiona to the place where we had to do our job. When I left the carriage, I saw Ron and Marcus fighting a few wolves who weren't infected, but normal ones. I and Fiona have to fight other wild animals, who are way more powerful than one single wolf, four bears. Fiona had taken her giant sword and started to swing at those bears, and I decided to use the spell "Dancin" on those bears to make them not attack Fiona while she kills them. All the bears who were dancing became dead in a few seconds because of Fiona. We finished with those bears, then Fiona says to me. "We have to help the others, boy! Use the magic on those wolves!" "I'm on it!" I said to Fiona, going to Marcus and Ron to help them kill those wolves. While I was running to them, I took the wand and used the spell "T.N.T" on those wolves. Just a single spell has made three wolves fly and the other eight come to attack me because I am a bigger threat than those two. I used other spells on those wolves, the one "Dancin", but that spell worked on just six wolves because the other two were about to attack me. I dodge their attacks and use the "T.N.T" spell on them, which makes them fly in the forest. After that, I looked at wolves who were dancing weird and used the "T.N.T." spell to kill them and make them fly. Marcus and Ron came to me. Marcus and I are doing a high-five and, with Ron, we just fist-bump for a good job of doing a good job protecting them from those wolves. After that, Fiona told us to go back to protecting the carriages and to be vigilant against the next attacks, who are probably going to be there sooner because of the sound spells and voice I was making while I used those spells to kill the wolves and bears. Marcus and the others went to their carriage. They had to protect their goods, and I was going to mine to rest a little bit because those spells had drained my whole energy. Even though I was asleep for a few moments, I still fell asleep and without energy. I get on my carriage, sit on the bench that is attached to the walls of the carriage and decide to sleep again while they were moving to the Kingdom of Hungary. While I was asleep, I had a dream, but this one wasn't like the other with an old man and a white beard. This one was different because it was me and a girl who were fighting a few weird creatures who I had never seen before. I used the spell that could help me to protect her and to attack those creatures. The spells I used I have no idea what they mean, but in one of them I could hear the pronunciation, "Thunderstorm", which makes those creatures shake uncontrollably and then die. The girl and I fought three of those creatures. I noticed something when I saw myself fighting. I didn't use the wand I had, but staff who I hadn't seen in my entire life, and another weird thing about me in this dream was my hair. It was a long one instead of a short one like I have right now. I don't know what kind of dream this is, but it's probably something that could happen to anybody. When those two finished the fighting, they looked at each other and then started to speak. "You did well." says the dream version of me to that girl. "Thanks," she replies. "You also fight well." "It was nothing. Just some wolves. I beat those creatures very regularly." "If you say so." The girl approaches my dream version and she kisses him... on the lips. I was disgusted when she did that, because that is so disgusting even for a criminal who has to be put in a prison full of corpses who have started to smell like a rotten corpse. I close my eyes while those two end the kissing scene and wait until they are going to leave, but when I close my eyes, I wake up from sleep and land in reality. That sleep was short, so I decided to try to sleep again, but it didn't work, so I stayed awake until Fiona came to the carriage and told me we had arrived, which took almost one hour later when she did that. I left the carriage with my wand and then I followed Fiona, Marcus, and Ron, who were heading to the Hungarian Palace. While I was walking in this place, I observed with my eyes so many things I didn't encounter in the Roman Kingdom, like a building where merchants sell armour and weapons that probably weren't made by blacksmiths. In our kingdom, I heard it is illegal to sell armour if you are a merchant, but if you are a blacksmith, you sell it without problems. This thing doesn't apply to the merchants who sell magic objects, like wands, spellbooks or potions. Fiona and Marcus talked to each other about the things we had encountered while we were travelling in the carriages. Ron looked at a shop and asked me. "Are you a bounty hunter?" "Bounty hunter?" I asked Ron and then looked at Fiona, who didn't hear Ron. "No. I'm not. Why?" "I just wanted to ask. To be sure." "I see..." "Aren't you going to ask if I am a bounty hunter?" asked Ron after a while. "No. I believe you are not." "How can you tell?" "Instinct," I said to Ron when we arrived at the front gates of the palace. Three guards came to us and asked about a knight and our squire's license. Fiona and Marcus handed their licenses and ours to the guards to read them. Those guards looked at those parchments, they handed them back after a while and then, after that, they let us enter the palace to discuss with the king. While we were walking in the Palace, I started to act nervous because this would be my first discussion with a true nobleman in a true noble family. We climb up the stairs until we arrive on the sixthfloor, which is most probably the place where the King is waiting for his guests or his knights and squires like us who have come from which kingdoms to deliver goods to his own Kingdom. Fiona knocked on the door as a sign to open the door. Ron and I were nervous, but Marcus and Fiona weren't nervous at all, instead, they were happy. Why do they feel so calm when I and Ron feel like we are in Hell because we were framed by some barbarians in the killing. The door was opened by two knights who let us go to the King's throne. At first, I didn't know what to say when I saw the throne and the King, who happened not to be a King, but a Queen. The Queen looks like a normal queen with short red hair, royal clothes, a crow for queens, red eyes with black pupils, and having one missing arm. Ron and I were so scared because of her appearance, but Marcus and Fiona looked at her smiling. "Long time, long see, your majesty," says Fiona to the Queen. "Hello, Fiona," says the Queen to Fiona while she makes a royal bow to Marcus. I and Ron did the same royal bow to show respect to the Queen for letting us enter the Royal Palace and then letting us walk around the Kingdom. The Queen looked at us, and then she asked Marcus. "Another one, Marcus. What happened to the girl?" "Well... She decided to run away," confessed Marcus to the Queen, feeling like a little boy who had said to a teacher about a bully who had started to attack him. "Really? What have you done this time?" "Nothing. She was her choice." "I see," she said while she took a look at Ron, who started to shake uncontrollably when the queen had put her eyes on him. "Good luck with this one, your good knight." "Thank you," replied Marcus to the Queen. The Queen looked at me after that, and then she said to me. "You... You look kinda familiar." "Really?" I asked the Queen, feeling a little bit scared. "Yes. Tell me, do you have any relationship with a wizard or sorcerer who was arrested in the Roman Kingdom?" "Sorcerer?" I asked the Queen. "What is that?" "Another word to say to the people who are magicians. But never mind that it is probably my imagination, so I'm sorry for the inconvenience." "D-Don't worry," I replied to the Queen. After a few seconds of silence, the Queen looked at the parchment for a while, and after that, she commanded a knight to go to get something. "Good job for this mission, you four," says the Queen to us. "I-It was no problem," says Fiona to the Queen. "This mission was way easier than I expected." "Really? How come?" "We have just encountered wolves and bears, and even some bandits, but don't worry, they didn't follow us because of Marco." "I told you I'm sorry," says Marco to Fiona, ignoring the place where he is. "I didn't mean to kill them, but I just aimed at their heads by mistake." "Mistakes are always made, Marcus. But don't worry, bandits are always bandits, my dear knights, and squires." A knight comes with a bag that most likely contains coins which are as a reward for doing a good job protecting those carriages. The Queen rose from her throne and she handed those bags of coins to us. There were four bags, which probably contained twelve or even thirtieth coins that could help us buy some good food or weapons. We took those bags and then left the royal Palace because we have something important to do in this town until tomorrow morning. We have to find a tavern where we can sleep until tomorrow morning.
